OK folks, after much discussion, the rules regarding theming have been updated. It's important that everybody take a couple of minutes to read this.
*Please notice...As of late we see a lot of playstore links to paid themes popping up. Keep in mind XDA is a development environment and we love to see graphical modifications for our beloved expensive devices. We of course encourage theming using a "sharing is caring" strategy since that's what XDA is all about. And we are trying to keep it this way. XDA is not and will never be a marketing platform, so from now on we will not allow direct links to paid themes on the playstore. Basically these are the rules :
1) No direct links to paid themes.
2) You can mention your theme is available on the play store as "donation ware" if there is a free and exactly similar version on xda.
3) Paid version must stay exactly the same as the free version, update on playstore has to reflect version freely available on XDA.
4) Do not discuss playstore in your thread, but you may add it to your signatuee. (this does not mean you can create an obnoxiously huge banner). Please keep it to a manageable size. There will be no exceptions to these updated rules. Anybody found posting links to your "donation ware" themes on Playstore will be removed, and there will be consequences.
Thank You.

[App] Completely Highku
Hello, I would like to post our first Android Application in what will be many to come. Current Completely Highku is only poems to read on your device but we'll be expanding it further to possible send out to others. The price is $1.29 USD which is a bargain as we'll keep updating it with more poems.
***If you rate under 4 stars please visit our site and go into the forum for the app to let us know why first***
screenshots dude.
have screen shots on our website but added it here as well
-The font will be different in App then what the poem looks like since at the time I was rooted and had a different system font.
XDA fora cannot be used to sell products. You are in breach of Rules 7 and 11 and thus, I will remove the link(s) to the market. The only way for you to advertise an app on XDA would be to provide the community with a free version or a lite version. Please take a moment to read the rules (link in my signature) and let me know if you have any questions.
Thread closed.
Edit: Also, I merged both of your threads as you cannot post your message in more than 1 forum under Rule 5.
There are so many talented developers here on xda and their passion for creativity only led many to working for free just to express their art. Fellow flashers (including myself) would not exist if it weren't for the developers.
I've been searching for an Android apps developer everywhere, and the thought just crossed my mind, XDA. A place I've gained respect for the development community.
So, I pose a question (with much respect), how to approach a Developer and find out if they would be interested in a "small app project for hire?"
If you are a Developer, I would love your pm.
Btw, I hope I'm not breaking any rules or offending anyone, as my pure intention is only driven by the developers passion here on XDA (otherwise, I have searched guru, but don't know anything about those developers).

I recommend posting in the general (non device specific) android apps section. U will find more ppl. Also of the app is really simple u can use buzztouch.com or appsbar (both are free) to make it on your own with not much technical knowledge. Ive made a few simple apps using those and I'm a pretty basic user.

Thread moved to Q&A due to it being a question. Would advise you to read forum rules and post in correct section.
Failure to comply with forum rules will result in an infraction and/or ban depending on severity of rule break.

I went to buzztouch and it seems like creating menus and content management is easy to use, but the actual app is created with eclipse? I don't have the coding knowledge (example, moving objects etc...). I'm decent with design/ drag and drop but not at all with codes. Looking forward to developers response
eclipse is only used to compile the app and is pretty straightforward to do. no coding necessary, and the buzztouch also spits out source for an ios app at the same time so u can have your app on multiple platforms all at once.
Anyone have this with the update?
MOD EDIT! WAREZ ARE STRICTLY FORBIDDEN ON THIS SITE!
I believe you will have to look elsewhere for the adfree, themed Pandora. Since the unlimited skips component of the app makes the pay service unnecessary, XDA treats the app as waerz.
Weird because it was called the themed version before and got it here.
I've gotten it here before as well. A little while back, one of the themes and apps threads was locked and links were taken down (forgot what device) while XDA mods reviewed the app to see if it violated the no warez policy. Themed/modified Pandora and Swype are kind of taboo around here, so I'd do a Google search and find an alternate site to download from.
Hi!
I'm a long time xda member, but posting under another user at the moment. I'm part of IcyApps.com ; Our website is showing previews for mobile applications that are coming soon to the different app markets. The whole concept is to allow the users to preview and follow upcoming apps.
You are more than welcome to check out the different upcoming apps, posted by the developers.
Please note that anyone can post apps for free, and we do not sell ad space.
We'd be really happy to post apps made by any xda members, if anyone is interested. (Already posted for a bunch of devs from xda)
Thanks!
(PS - please read before marking as spam: we do not sell anything, or even showing ads on our website. This message is for the xda community, and hopefully no rules were broken.)
Hello.
I do'nt know if this is the right forum, if not just move please.
I have the following question: There are apps on the internet, which allow one to crack ingame purchases. One of these
apps is freedom for example. you just have to press a button, and you get ingame purchases in a game of your choice for free.
I want to know, why things like that actually can exist, and how they work. Are they using bugs of the google play store? Or of the apps?
Why so many people can use it, without getting in trouble with the laws?
Thank you for sharing your thoughts about this topic.
We don't discuss warez on XDA at all. Any app that can bypass paid features of other apps, falls under that category.
So please review the rules here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/announcement.php?f=256 Especially number 6. :good:
You will not find help with those apps on this site.

Thanks,
