Goophone Y5 IOS 5.1 rom!!!!!!!!!

First sorry for my bad English!
As goophone y5 users know, Y5 with 6575 1Ghz CPU brings better performance than goophone V5. Since it has been released in China, it came with alot of bugs such as: some applications in Chinese, Google Market doesn't work....
So i cook this rom for Y5 by myself and wanna share with you.
Warning: Flash at your own risk, I am not responsible for any problem .
Features:
-Working google Market.
-remove and replace all chinese app.
-Fixed some bugs.
-Imitated iphone 4s 99%.
Issues:
- Can't locate your location through wifi or 3g network ( need some one fix it)
Installation:
1. From V3 the baseband is changed so do not flash if you are on older version!!!
Step to upgrade your phone:
- Download then install driver: http://www.mediafire.com/?1kc2v4bj3nr8pb8
-Download Flash tool and unrar: http://www.mediafire.com/?q4b8lfn696fdl6y
-Download basic rom and unrar: http://www.vdisk.cn/down/index/10652620
( Pass:www.goophone.hk )
2. Run flash tool.exe flow this guide ( Read my tutorial below carefuly)
-Open up SP Flash Tool, load the correct scatter file (MT6575_Android_scatter_emmc.txt) for your device and ignore any message that may appear. Tick the opption DA DL All With Check Sum

Turn off your phone. Disconnect with your computer.
Press F9 (or hit Download button in Flash tool). Press and hold volume down button on your phone then press power button after that connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable ( still press and hold volume down botton). Your computer will install the driver, now you can release volume button.
The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after the driver is successful installed.
After the red progress bar is complete, there will appear a purple progress bar.
Right after the purple progress bar is complete, a message will appear underneath it: “Please insert USB cable in x seconds” and the download will start right away (you will see the yellow progress bar filling up).
When the yellow bar is complete, you'll get a popup with a green circle and Download OK message, which means that the process has been successfully terminated.
You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
On this basic rom CWM is installed and your phone is rooted!!
3.Download rom in zip format and Google.app pack, copy REX_V3 file to root folder on your phone.

4. In CWM wipe all data and do factory reset ( the translation from Chinese into English file can download from link: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?4ffbax9zoaqoif0
5. Choose "install zip file from sd" option then navigate to your .zip file on SD or SD2 memory card depend on wherever you put your file then flash the rom.
6. After installation is finished back to main menu then reboot the phone
7. Wait your phone to reboot. Extract Go_app.zip then run installG_Apps.bat, G-app will be install then run install_App.bat to install other apps, your phone will reboot.
DONE!!!

How to unbrick your phone if flash unsuccess.
- Please make sure your phone is Goophone Y5 !!!
-Screw out two screw at the bottom of phone. Take the back cover out.
-Find the positive and negative pole ( red wire and black wire) on mainboard then short circuit the battery for completely turn off.
-Flash again.

Among the shortcomings or I have not yet figured out - despite binding to the account and the account marketa in the contacts, I do not sync contacts.
In Contacts - menu only with the ability to add contacts to your account through the Exchange. Google Account - no.
If this could be resolved - the firmware will be fine.

Google account contacts synchronization does not work.
But, the solution is very easy.
Just copy the apks below (download from the WhiteTigerDK website support) to the system/app folder and change the permissions:
GoogleContactsSyncAdapter.apk
GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk
Re-starting the device.
Later, go to settings - Icloud, click the your user Google Account and select the option to sync contacts.

The original rom is the lastest rom 0608 on Goophone website, Android 2.3.6. Do you know any website supporting this phone?? I hear some floating infomations that it has an Android 4.0 for this phone.

Will this model work with AT&T 3G? Ive seen some sellers saying it has 850/2100mhz and others saying it only has 2100mhz

The sophone V75 is the one thats supposed to be running on ICS . But then cant find any website supporting it.
Goophone is only officially supported on the goophone.hk
How did you manage to fix the gplay on 0608 version? When I tried it before it would crash everytime I tried to download something. I would be interested to know how u did it.

[Q] Mod for my HCL ME Y2 tablet

Hi, I've recently bought HCL ME Y2 tablet. I rooted the device and the device was normal after the root. But after some days, I found my device struck with the Logo screen (ME). But I still can access the recovery mode by pressing '+' key while pressing the power button. I wiped the cache, data/factory reset. But still I'm not able to boot into my device.
I tried googling to get the update.zip image for my Tab, but no luck.
So, I decided to install Modded version into my Tab. But as I'm new to the these tasks, I require your (expert's) opinion on choosing the right mod for my device. I'd like to install Jellybean on my device.
The configuration of my tablet is as follows :
1 Ghz Cortex A9
Mali 400 Graphics processor
7 inch 1024 * 600 Multi-touch IPS panel
2 Cameras (0.3MP- Front, 2MP -Back)
8GB Internal (I guess it has 8GB Card inside it which I cant remove)
Expandable upto 32GB through External slot
1080p Full HD Playback
Inbuilt 3G HSDPA SIM Slot
Bluetooth with A2DP
Wifi b/g/n
It has Mini HDMI port, Mini USB port along with Micro SD slot.
4000mAH battery.
Please help me choosing the right Mod !!

As far as I know nobody has ported a rom to y2 so I don't really know how you will install a moded rom?? for your problem go to the service center. By the way has anyone installed google play???

I've installed Play after rooting my device. It was working fine but after installing some more apps, my Tab suddenly switched OFF and was not able to boot in again.

Anybody owns a HCL Me Y2 ????
It'd be really grateful if somebody using HCL ME Y2 uploads their backed up ROM for me !!!!
I'm out of all other options here !!! Plz somebody HELP !

Thanks Rijo for letting me know that HCL provides the ROM officially. Unfortunately I'm not able to enter my recovery mode.
I've posted the problem http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2407156 in this thread.
I've tried everything else. Tab does not get detected by the HCL's software to download/upgrade the ROM.

Brother, beleve me, you dont need any adb or fastboot commands to solve this problem. Our device don't have fastboot drivers.

Extract the Y2_image.rar file on you PC by winrar. You will get four files named
1) factory_update_param.aml , 2) u-boot-aml-ucl.bin , 3) uImage_recovery ,4) update.zip

Now format a sdcrad (Minimum of 1 GB) to FAT32 and place all the 4 extracted files in it. DON'T CHANGE ANY FILE NAME. DON'T EXTRACT update.zip.
Then press Volume(-) key and power key. You device will take some time while upgradation process. After that your Y2 will reboot automatically. And your problem will be solved...
PS- Every Y2 tab have this boot freeze bug. This is the only way to fix it. The problem may occur again, in that case follow these instruction again.
IF YOU WANT PLAY STORE AND OTHER GAPPS IN YOUR Y2, THEN NOTIFY ME, I'LL UPLOAD A ROM WITH GOOGLE APPS.

HCL has the worst after sale service i've ever seen. They don't even know how to talk to customers. Their products are worse than the cheap chinese stuffs. Never ever buy anything from HCL.

I have downloaded and installed CWM with this app, its working fine and its in english but the screen in recovery is upside down, lol. Is it just me or?

But is have a probem- can't enter to CWM with the old power+vol+ method- can you?
Every bootoop I need to Flash stock rom via SP flashtool ,Root and boot to recovery and restore
Trying to port ColorOs .

I cant enter recovery with power+vol+ aswell , i use this app to enter recovery.
I wish we had some more ROMs for this phone, maybe AOSP / Cyanogenmod lol. :laugh:

The problem with entering to recovery from boot just slow's me down .
With the new rom you can use the clock area on status bar as power button -no need to click the power button to lock the screen.

i see no threads of Jiayu f1 on XDA. i hope ppl will show interest in its devlopment soon.

Omg this is amazing, Xposed (& Gravity Box) is working with this phone.
So now i have Advanced Restart menu and i can restart directly to Recovery without using Jiayu app, and also easy access to make screenshots.
Tried some Status Bar mods and they work fine aswell.

Installation of recoveries
If your phone is rooted, you can use Mobileuncletools from play store, and follow this instruction (option 2). Note, that the files in that post are not suitable for F1, but the method is good.
If your phone is not rooted, then you need to use SP flashtool.

- reboot tablet to FASTBOOT - shutdown tablet, then press and hold for 5 sec Volume-UP + POWER
- choose using Volume buttons Factory reset and confirm by POWER button (** WARNING ** you loose your data !)
- let the tablet boot, then shut it down and again go to FASTBOOT (Volume-UP and Power)
- have all downloaded files (fastboot.exe, sy-3.10.6.gz) in one folder
- attach microUSB cable to tablet (tablet will show : "FASTBOOT CMD WAITING..." and picture will show "READY FOR DOWNLOAD"
- be sure that the device get recognized correctly and all drivers get installed successfully (see the screenshot)
- execute within the downloaded folder "fastboot.exe -i 0x8087 flash system sy-3.10.6.gz" and WAIT for reboot
- install SuperSU from ChainFire from Google Play and update SU using "NORMAL" method
According to @foggy69 factory reset might not be required and you may even keep your data - for me however it didn't work, I got "out of space" error as the internal memory was pretty full already (you need to have 1GB free space for upload using FastBoot).
Btw, Xposed 2.7 works, currently using Amplify, GravityBox for JellyBean, MinMinGuard, XToast, YourTube AdAway and all is fine so far.
Also using Market Helper to get some of the apps compatible (like CM Browser, TCHIBO, TESCO and similar - all of them works flawlessly ! )
Credit to @kmeaw-xda for finding this out and sharing with us and @kokabunga for mirroring/sharing the files/links and finding proper switch for fastboot (-i 0x0807).

Other Asus (same constructor) with Intel z2560 chipset (same board) have been rooted
We just (still) have a talented owner to make a pre rooted firmware for us.
More and more devices are coming with Intel chipset. We can expect a 1 click root method within 3 month.

It uses Intel chipset right, ? you might be able to do it like Zenfone or any other asus devices.. and its gellybean.. less pain in the ass I guess. and you will have to one click root that device like using Vroot or somthing like that.. since there aren't any custom recovery available..

hi yes currently the rom is stable and is as fast as it can be at the moment.. and it is battery freindly as can be expected for the a13.

I just trying your ROM on my Prestigio pmp3670b (red)...but I have problem with touchscreen modules. I was tried modules from other ROMs but one was working.
Can I use modules from official prestigio FW? how? Or do you have any solution for me?

I can't seem to get this tool working. Stumped at the first hurdle. I click "Analyze device" and nothing ever happens. None of the other device based commands seem to work either.
I know the device drivers are all working correctly as I can use the Uberizer tool to do ROM dumps and adb lsmod commands.
Any ideas? Maybe I am not waiting long enough or some other problem? I just want know if I have the right device and modules to run a custom ROM.

Mmm. That's odd your the first person with this problem or at least the first to bring it to my attention.. The tool uses adb commands in the code to get your device name and to confirm the device is connected using adb...
I have a few questions...
1. What OS are you using on your computer?
2. Are you running the tool as administrator?
3. Do you have java/adb tools installed and up to date?
4. Have you tried using a different cable and/or different USB port? (This normally works to solve nearly all connection issues)

Seems you have everything set up right?? I really don't know what to suggest... If you have another computer or laptop maybe try it on alternative machine just in case...

Sorry for bumping this thread, but is there a fix for your zeus tool for windows 8.1. its not running.
EDIT forgot to mention that I have the same problem as the other user stated. nothing happens when pressing analyze device.

Is this compatible with the quad core a13s?

just a bump for the new version as described in changelog alot has been fixed an the tool should work flawlessly now. REMEMBER to make sure you have your adb drivers installed and there is no support for windows 8 at the moment..

nice to see you still working on this, one thing tho in the previous version i couldn't get the recovery to install. It said installation successful but it wasn't. Did you fix this problem or was this something with the tablet?
