First sorry for my bad English!
As goophone y5 users know, Y5 with 6575 1Ghz CPU brings better performance than goophone V5. Since it has been released in China, it came with alot of bugs such as: some applications in Chinese, Google Market doesn't work....
So i cook this rom for Y5 by myself and wanna share with you.
Warning: Flash at your own risk, I am not responsible for any problem .
Features:
-Working google Market.
-remove and replace all chinese app.
-Fixed some bugs.
-Imitated iphone 4s 99%.
Issues:
- Can't locate your location through wifi or 3g network ( need some one fix it)
Installation:
1. From V3 the baseband is changed so do not flash if you are on older version!!!
Step to upgrade your phone:
- Download then install driver: http://www.mediafire.com/?1kc2v4bj3nr8pb8
-Download Flash tool and unrar: http://www.mediafire.com/?q4b8lfn696fdl6y
-Download basic rom and unrar: http://www.vdisk.cn/down/index/10652620
( Pass:www.goophone.hk )
2. Run flash tool.exe flow this guide ( Read my tutorial below carefuly)
-Open up SP Flash Tool, load the correct scatter file (MT6575_Android_scatter_emmc.txt) for your device and ignore any message that may appear. Tick the opption DA DL All With Check Sum

Turn off your phone. Disconnect with your computer.
Press F9 (or hit Download button in Flash tool). Press and hold volume down button on your phone then press power button after that connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable ( still press and hold volume down botton). Your computer will install the driver, now you can release volume button.
The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after the driver is successful installed.
After the red progress bar is complete, there will appear a purple progress bar.
Right after the purple progress bar is complete, a message will appear underneath it: “Please insert USB cable in x seconds” and the download will start right away (you will see the yellow progress bar filling up).
When the yellow bar is complete, you'll get a popup with a green circle and Download OK message, which means that the process has been successfully terminated.
You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
On this basic rom CWM is installed and your phone is rooted!!
3.Download rom in zip format and Google.app pack, copy REX_V3 file to root folder on your phone.

4. In CWM wipe all data and do factory reset ( the translation from Chinese into English file can download from link: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?4ffbax9zoaqoif0
5. Choose "install zip file from sd" option then navigate to your .zip file on SD or SD2 memory card depend on wherever you put your file then flash the rom.
6. After installation is finished back to main menu then reboot the phone
7. Wait your phone to reboot. Extract Go_app.zip then run installG_Apps.bat, G-app will be install then run install_App.bat to install other apps, your phone will reboot.
DONE!!!

-Screw out two screw at the bottom of phone. Take the back cover out.
-Find the positive and negative pole ( red wire and black wire) on mainboard then short circuit the battery for completely turn off.
-Flash again.

Among the shortcomings or I have not yet figured out - despite binding to the account and the account marketa in the contacts, I do not sync contacts.
In Contacts - menu only with the ability to add contacts to your account through the Exchange. Google Account - no.
If this could be resolved - the firmware will be fine.

Google account contacts synchronization does not work.
But, the solution is very easy.
Just copy the apks below (download from the WhiteTigerDK website support) to the system/app folder and change the permissions:
GoogleContactsSyncAdapter.apk
GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk
Re-starting the device.
Later, go to settings - Icloud, click the your user Google Account and select the option to sync contacts.

The original rom is the lastest rom 0608 on Goophone website, Android 2.3.6. Do you know any website supporting this phone?? I hear some floating infomations that it has an Android 4.0 for this phone.

Will this model work with AT&T 3G? Ive seen some sellers saying it has 850/2100mhz and others saying it only has 2100mhz

The sophone V75 is the one thats supposed to be running on ICS . But then cant find any website supporting it.
Goophone is only officially supported on the goophone.hk
How did you manage to fix the gplay on 0608 version? When I tried it before it would crash everytime I tried to download something. I would be interested to know how u did it.

Battery Drains.
Yes. With the Wi-fi on and average usage, the phone offered me a 8 hour Backup.
Ssecond, No. This is still a WIP, So not usable.

Download latest Team Utterchaos Kernel and flash it as "PDA" without repartition, pit file or anything else through odin
Then Download the MIUI Rom - put it on your device - flash it through CWM

Video Calling? Mhmm...It does not work. I tried. The Screen is black thats it. But, you can see the other user. THe other user cant see you.

Nope. nothing Seperately related to CyanoGenMod. Just flash utterchaos kernel(Via ODIN) and the MIUI (Via CWM)..Woila!

i will suggest to wait for some days. Its still under testing with some bugs.
I installed this MIUI rom, i cant see the applications icon in my dock, how to access the applications menu? and one more query, when i turn off the screen, it gets off once but the black light lits again in a few moments and doesnt turn off even if the display is off, any solutions?

The Turn-Off thing is common. Bear with it until the final release. xD
And, You can get to the applications thing by Pressing the middle button of your launcher. ( MIDDLE BUTTON ON THE TOUCH SCREEN).

Thetering Does not work and No video calls for now
Just 100 KG weight and Tag huer Watch (Wait and Watch)
now i am not able to install any other rom, whenever I try to flash any other in recovery mode and reboot after the flash then the phone doesnt boot and shows just black screen. I am stuck with this MIUI port. Plz Help!

A great one
It's a great rom i think. i just flash it aand no need odin anymore. and one more news i have no problem with bin count. because it's not replace the custom recvery. But it can't combine with ashutosh rom. if i'm not wrong, your rom has some tweaking? i red it in the build.prop. And i feel it in my device. now it can run 24 hours just for whatsapp and messaging.:good:

first of all, thank you for sharing firmware, but i have some questions.
1. Does possible flashing this firmware via pc? from fastboot for example. I'ts will be verry nice for blind users wich can't to do recovery and flash via recovery with out speech.
2. Does possible enabling debuging usb mode, enable accesibility, and put all necesary files for that in update.zip? Thanks for all replies.

of course you can bro. just download root explorer, enter to system>usr>keylayout>bcm_keypad_v2.kl.
mount the system to r/w
and then look for key 442 chaton.
and then change it to key 442 cust1
save and exit.
reboot then. and voila the chaton button has ben customized key. just put your favorite app there.
Can you make a flashable zip for native in-call recording on stock dialer to be flashed & used in this ROM similar to the one available on GS3?
The hardware characters are mesed up . For example @/H is now on the letter N and normaly letter n has ' . Also the rest of the characters are messed up. I'm using English US on the hardware keyboard. I had them all right with the original 4.0.4 and with the official spanish 4.1.2 . With your rom they just shuffled .
It's not from your rom it's from the spanish 412. I'll reset to factory default to see if i can get back the normal characters ( i have now the reversed ? character from a spanish question ).
I reinstalled my original Cosmote Romania rom 404 . Everything is back to normal. Is this csc changing the hardware configuration of the keys ?

For root:
1.Download usb driver ----> www.mirrorcreator.com/files/RJDKYXRH/ and open Driver_Auto_Installer_v1.1236.00.rar and run install.bat it install driver automatically
2. Plug your phone to pc
3.Download this file ----> http://www.mirrorcreator.com/files/09XPAELB/ open Motochopper_Auto_Root.rar and run run.bat your phone has root

close the phone and displace battery
plug the phone to pc but don't with battery

press dowload button. after press yes button
program start automativally run.it seem like doesn't work but it work.don't close program
after replace battery.computer shows your phone that Mediatek USB VCOM PORT

downloading panel will be red and after it will be yellow like image
after after successfuly dowloaded you dispalace battery and replace.open phone continuously pressing volume + button. cwm screen will come

I don't know and haven't got h9500. But you try clear camera data. Go to settings-->apps-->all-->camera-->clear data maybe it will fix

anyways ..
here is if you ever mess up your device (DIRECT DOWNLOAD) READ INSTRUCTIONS BELOW
1. open the rom flash tool after extracting the ROM
2. select the scatter-download the .txt file
3.after this take out the battery of your phone
4. connect the usb in your laptop but NOT the phone yet
5. click "firmware > upgrade"
6. NOW connect your phone after 2-5 seconds after clicking "firmware > upgrade"
7. it now should start loading the bar, if not click stop and take out the USB of your phone and click firmware > upgrade and wait 10 seconds
8. if everything worked now the bar should be loading
9. after its all done it shows a green circle
10. DONE !
This rom already has CWM + is already rooted

Sorry for my late reply. Just got a new h9500 but it's the same problem on that one.
So far I have 1 white with working focus and 3 (yes three) grey with a nonworking focus....
Thanks for your suggestion but I can't find any program that seems to have something to do with the camera in the list

I have a grey color set and the auto-focus does not seem to be working as well. Did you manage to get any fix for it? Seems like a definite software problem because the camera takes photos fine..

I have none working solutions so far. I'm unsure about a software issue. They all have the same firmwares.

Here is a MIUI V5 rom in english for Spice Mi-515. I've ported this rom from two other chinese miui roms.The rom does not include google apps itself. But the apps can be flashed with another zip provided.

In recovery mode, navigate up/down with VolUp/VolDown and select with POWER button

Well this is modded android 4.2 jellybean..and MIUI is created by chinese company Xaomi..its ui is quite similar to ios
And as of updates..currently i haven't planned for providing OTA updates...but yeah would update with flashable zips whenever possible..

I am .net programmer and never cooked my own Android rom
So I will first check the tutorials about cooking a rom and will inform you afterwards.
BTW, I just installed it and its awesome, however, few of the times, getting error, Settings stopped working.

As much i know, to change the update link and provide a custom web address for OTA files, we would have to decompile the settings apk and recompile with different address. .net skills are less likely required.
And we may discuss these stuff on pm or on im.
As of the errors, please post the causes if you can replicate the force closes.
Do we have root access with this Custom Rom, or do we need to root it ?

Yeah its already rooted. But miui uses its own root manager. First of all you would have to enable root access from System->Permission->Root->Enable root permission. and then as usual it would ask to block or grant root access.

You may find it funny.
But I am unable to find the menu button, unlike Android there is no button to see all the installed application.
Where is this Menu Drawer or whatever we call it, which used to come with the center Icon on home screen ?

lol...well there is no application drawer in miui..thats why i said that miui is similar to ios..all the apps are on home screen but you may arrange them with the help of folders

Caller id issue. Unlike others, it matches for complete number and therefore dont show the caller name saved in contacts.
Generally, it should match last 7 digits to show the name.
My contacts are like 09876543210
But incoming call shows +919876543210, which means no match. :|

Sound Issue
Having a weird problem
Few of the times, when I receive call, sound is too noisy, I can't hear a thing.
However, if I make out-call, everything is perfect.
Is there any fix for it ?

I have not try gravitybox yet. I m not sure if is working in Lewa. You know one other way?
In order to unlock with volumes button you need custom kernel . But we can't have. If you want these. Is a lot of apps that help you unlock with sensor of top of your device

On the other hand, the apps which they work with the sensor, they will consume battery.

In order to put your phone in recovery mode you must press power + volume down then choose recovery mode

The instructions were very clear and helped me to get back to stock 020 easily using Windows 7 SP1 64 bit.

How is Gps and battery on this Phone?
I found this phone today on several webshops. Also there are many custom roms. So it is an interesting phone. I want to know how is GPS? How many seconds before have strong GPS signal? How is battery with moderate use? How is build quality and sound?

The gps is caught fast... But better you can use it on your car!
I record a track and it was almost on the road when you see it on google earth.
I think on (my) moderate use you can have 2 days.
For chinese phone... Is well build
In call sound is fine

go to needrom website, then coolpad then 8297 - F1, i use the third (3ª) (i think i can't post links...)
I use meo drive from play and tomtom and worked fine also used my tracks from goolge and worked fine.
meo drive is a portuguese free car navigation from market (in portugal the portuguese map is free)
