Hey there.
It's been a while since this thread was created, but I will still appriciate any response.
Why would I have to log-in? And where can I register?
I would also like to know how I can install Ruby on my device. Or how to make sure I have a rucy installed.
thanks for helpers

Hi, this is just an app that let's you browse and edit the RubyGems repository website, that's why you have to login. If you're interested in running Ruby in your device, I suggest you to take a look at this StackOverflow question, which contains the answer to your questions.

First of all, thanks a lot for directing me there, I couldn't find it myself.
Someone suggested there to root device and use apt-get. I already have my device rooted, but I don't know where I can use Linux commands such as apt-get on my android device (Galaxy S4 GT-I9515).
Another person suggested using Ruboto IRB, but I have no idea what that is nor how can I get it. I would like an explanation here as well (if you could of course )
Another question, when I use cSploit it tells me that there's a ruby updrade avaible and asks me if I want to install it. I infer that I already have Ruby if it asks me to UPDATE it (the app works fine btw), but I'm not sure.

To execute the Linux commands you need to install a terminal emulator via the Play Store, where you can also download Ruboto.

Ok cool. So you're telling me that installing a terminal emulator will actually prompt linux commands to my device? Like, it's not just a simulation?
Also, I would be happy if you could explain me what Ruboto does or how it works.
BTW Thanks again for replying, I really appriciate your will to help

Status: Deodexing the framework followed by apps.
I remember when people were calling BS at this... guess they've all been proven wrong?
Seems that's just an sdk to build apps for specific phones, so that cannot help "general android" atm....
K so theres a whole LOTTA depedencies in here. From their launcher to their non-launcher integrated apps, all have shared libs. I give up lol. For those wanting to give it a shot.
Download the zip. Extract it. Unyaffs system.img
Take framework/apps deodex them (use auto-deodexer)
Then try to figure out the dependencies. Btw, to deodex their launcher/home, u gotta add webwidget.jar to the classpath. Good luck

yea ophone is a pain in the ass. search this thread for it, someone a long time ago (a year +) made a rom that actually booted, but it had messed up graphics. cool to play with though... but even so, it's hard to port. I've tried to port it myself, and gave up.

[TOOL] Android Injector

CHECK THIS LINK TO UNLOCK THE "Unknown Sources" OPTION ON YOUR NON ROOTED ANDROID PHONE
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1107499
Now you can install apps on your Android powered phone or device without having to get them through the Android Market.
Android Injector allows you to quickly and easily install apps that you have downloaded to your computer in the form of ".apk" files onto your Android phone or device. Some phones do not allow you to install apps from any other source except the Android Market. However, some app authors do not release their apps to the Android Market and elect to put them on other sites such as Getjar.com. Android Injector allows you to download apps from those other sources to your computer and then install them onto your phone from your computer quickly and easily via USB connection.
Just install the USB drivers for your phone or device onto your computer (check your carrier or device manufacturer for drivers), connect your phone to your computer via a USB cable, select any amount of Android app files (.apk) and click "Install to device". No rooting or any of that complicated stuff.

Very cool app! I like it!
Awesome!
Awesome app! Thanks!
Would be awesome if it was available for Mac/Linux
This app is superb!!!
But please, make a shortcut on the context menu, when right-click over an apk file on the explorer... please.. make it... it make the process so much more simple...
Does it work on Nook color?
Sorry to ask (or someone will say try it) but if it does this would be an awesome achievement and a reason to keep the stock format on the nook color and get all the other apps you want with the new update. Great job on your app it looks great and reviews speak well of it.
I love it!
some doubt
hi,
good work BUT i think that the same thing could be possible with a simple shurtcut to a batch on which you drop one or a group of APK files....
I use that method...
Dude, nice! It even has drag&drop function! Really nice work, thanks
Good work! Highly appreciated.
I do have some questions and comments:
(1) what's the method behind this? How exactly does it work?
(2) are you aware of any legal or technical side effects from using this method?
(3) does the utility support any command-line parameters? If so, it'd be negligible to add a shell option to interface with Explorer.
Thanks again!
Does this alleviate the need to push an .odex file?
This is nice, might come in handy, Great work!!

[flashable] wget feature in terminal

I know this is going to be at least useful for me, and anyone else that is familiar with wget. That's why I got it working for the EVO (and soon for the Xoom). If you are familiar with the linux system, you should know what the wget command is ;-) Below is a screenshot to show it works.
You must be rooted to use this.
Instructions:
1) Download zip file below to your SD card.
2) Boot into recovery and flash the zip.
3) Reboot
To use: (I will make this a easier process in next update.)
1) Open any terminal emulator of your choice.
2) type "su" without the quotes
3) type cd system/app/wget
4) type wget http://xxx.com/filename.extention
and watch it download! (as shown below)

Haha ;-) Glad you like it.
Yeah compiz would be neat haha -- trying to port this to the Xoom as well.
I am working on a .sh that you will be able to kick off once you load up terminal so you can use this wget tool without having to CD into directories at all. I'll probably have this up by the end of the day.
Let me know if you have any questions
I'll try to play with it when i get home today, if i have time that is.
I just did a successful wget on my rooted evo and I don't have your files installed.
Busybox 1.18 allows this feature already...no need for extra files.

[Tutorial] [UPDATED] Making your own themes for Xposed Air Command Themer Module

EDIT: I fixed the links and attached the files needed (including tools like apktool and signapk)
ADDED: Videos! 3-part series
The videos are at the bottom of this post.
Here's a simple-ish guide on how to make your own themes for the Xposed Module Air Command Themer. The photos are here to give sizes and steps. I know there is a lot of info here, but I know I am a very visual person and this will help others.
The original OP that I am coming from is:

Another useful link is:
Guide on Compiling and Decompiling with Apktool
Step ONE: Making your own theme images using Photoshop:

STEP TWO: Now we move on to creating the apk. Setting up the folder to contain our images we just made. A blank theme apk can be found at the OP linked above, but in case it was missed:
Here it is again

USING SIGNAPK:
Again, both tools can be found and set up by following THIS GUIDE
Install and enjoy you're newly made air command theme! Make sure the themer is enabled in xposed or it won't work. Good luck everyone!
