How do I install a clean (no branding) OS

I bricked my phone last time I tried to do this, so I need very precise instructions on how to get rid of the incredibly annoying branding that's all over my phone. There are so many apps that come pre-installed that I can't uninstall, and along with that every time i turn it on I'm forced to watch a terrible low res splash screen.
Virgin Mobile btw.
With a PC, if it's got a brand specific OS or if it gets full of crap / infected, you can quite easily install a fresh operating system and start fresh (there's nothing more satisfying than reinstalling an OS IMO!)
Well, that's what I want to do but with my GT S7500.
In the past though, I flashed my phone with a stock rom and it appeared to do nothing. I still had all my annoying apps and splash screen.
Minutes later in my confusion and frustration I bricked it...
I want to get rid of the splash screen and all the pre installed insignificant crap in one go. Surely this is possible?

[Q] A510, Rooted, is it possible to put it back to full stock rom and image ?

I am received for Christmas a used A510 tab (still under warranty).
It has been rooted, has CWN installed with the following
Android version: 4.1.2
Kernel version: 3.1.10+
Image: Acer_AV051_A510_RV11RC01_NoThrills
Build: Acer_Av051_A510_1_035_00_EMEA_CUS1
Ref.: NoThrills 20121217
It is my first Android Tab.
After a couple of days, I realized that the screen was not rotating automatically. I have installed a couple of games using the "Tilt" as steering and I discover that most of the games, the car (the boat or the airplane) will start to make a circle going left.
Sorry for this long introduction, here are my questions:
I want to send it back to Acer for repair, is it possible to put it as if the tab was not rooted ?
If yes, how ?

Go to Acer's website and d/l their stock ROM. Then install the stock recovery. These are the two things ya need to do to make it look ORIGINAL.

Unfortunately, that's what I have tried first.
But I imagine that due to the fact the tab is now on 4.1.2, I can not install anymore the 4.0.X Roms. I have tried to install them (update.zip) from the SD card or not and with or without the first line, each time I obtained a error.
I have not been able to get Acer_the full AV051_A510_1.034.00 (including flex&system&stokcrecovery&boot).
Does anyone has it ?

Basically, ever since I flashed AOKP a while back, my phone has been acting weird. Every once in a while the phone will freeze and black lines will appear, immediately followed by the phone re-booting. It happens completely at random. Afterwards, I flashed various ROM's and Android versions thinking that maybe the ROM was the issue, to no prevail.
Also, apps such as GoSMS, Instagram, PowerAmp, and my Camera, to name a few, bug out and either crash or freeze the phone and again it re-boots. The phone doesn't produce sound (from internal speakers or headphones, when plugged in). The Camera app will not record videos, or lag when record button is pressed, overall most of applications bug out and dont work the way they're suppose to.
My main concern is the random re-booting and what might be causing it, and what can do to fix it?

I flashed the latest stock firmware, 4.4.2, via odin 3.09. The problems still stand, everything seems fine at first and then things start crashing and phone reboots. Any other thoughts on what might be causing it?

Don't worry about the rebooting my main concern are those black lines appearing I would flash to stock and claim warranty

Asus crashing all the time.

Hello all,
My asus TF300 is crashing all the time. I was on JB 4.2.1 with the original rom. Everything was fine all the time until he crashes, even when he is plugged in the power plug. The problem is that when he crashes he won't get on directly. After a few minites he starts again. Sometime crashes directly again after he is booting. after 30min he will start again and works perfect.
I was tinking to root him and putting a other kernel on it and rom. Still does the crashing part.
Does someone have a solution for this? In standby he does not have the problem.

Just tested a battery calibration tool downloaded from google play store. Must charge the battery at 100% and then run the tool. After I downloaded a tool (battery dis-charger.) After 3-5min my tablet falls out. Hope this info helps. Hope anyone has a solution, it was a refurbished tablet and had only 6 months warranty. This happens at 9 months.

You don't need to root before flashing another rom. The "root" bit will be part of the rom you will flash.

Still have the problem. Anyone have a solution that I can try?

Just tested the KatKiss Lolipop rom, still have the same crash problem, i think it's called "Sleep of dead" but can't find a solution for it. Now with the new rom sometime it takes longer to crash and then there are times that it's after a couple of seconds. Anyone have any idea's?

Just downloaded again the firmware from the ASUS website. And installed the blob file with fastboot. Seems do to fine now.

Sleep of Death (SODs) usually occur because of a misbehaving app. Run a logcat before the SOD occurs and you might be able to figure out which app is messing with the sleep.

It make a little electric sound when it crash, but I have the feeling it's not a sleep of death.
It now with katkiss room, it very fast but it crash

That's exactly what it does, after installing the original rom it works good for the first time. But after that I had again the same problem. It's going faster and faster. Really annoying. Hope someone has a solution for this problem, because it's a good tab but with this problem I can put it in the garbage.

Still having the same problem.
- Formatted all with fastbood and installed the official WW rom, but no success.
- downgraded the bootloader to 4.1 without success.
- Updated the bootloader again and installed Omnirom 5.1 but still no success.
Does anyone have an other idea what I can do?
For the moment when he cut's the power I can't get it on and must wait a long time. Sometimes the low battery logo comes on but what is strange is when I plug in the power charger and charges it for 5 min I can boot it. When I go to TWRP I see 90% also when I boot in android I see +/-90% so really don't know what this means. Does anyone have an Idea how I can bring again life to my asus tab tf300t? (the power cut's also in TWRP or at boot. It depends, when he cut's the power and I restart the tab it seems to cut faster and faster until I charge it a little.
Info about tab: I'ts a refurbished tab bought with 6 months warranty, the problem started at month 6 - 7., so no warranty.

Chinese A23 Q8H wifi not working camera distorted.

Hi everyone,
Apologies in advance if I have posted this in the wrong place since I could not find anywhere else to put this.
My wife has a chinese tablet which started having issues with the rear camera showing everything as distorted opened it up cleaned the inside etc same issues so I tried clearing every cache under the sun aswell as trying to do a straight out wipe of the tablet which made no difference odd thing is the front camera was working fine. So I thought perhaps there is something wrong with the firmware on it so I went out on the internet to download another rom (bad idea). Now the closest working rom I have on this tablet still has the same camera issues as above (the both just show black screens when I flick between the two and now the wifi doesn't work.
Can someone please so kindly help me so I can get my wifes tablet back into working order.
Below is a screenie of what was on it before messing around with it.
I also remember when doing the wipes on the system exdroid v2 20140225 tried to search for the firmware with the above information and information provided in the screenie however I keep coming across roms that have other issues one had touch screen not working, others would not acknowledge the fact the tablet has two cameras and would only verify one as being there(still didn't work)
Before changing anything on tablet (rear camera was not working at this point front was working)

UPDATE
Now have a working system with WIFI only issue now is trying to resolve the camera and actually get it working.
Camera prior to all this was just distorted before and after taking pics and only the front cam was working fine currently neither are working at all.
Have tried various fixes on other posts on this forum however nothing is working now sure what to do now.
