Many users have shown an interest in getting periodic, tested codefireX builds in addition to the untested codefireX nightlies. So in other words, this is here to provide builds to those who are uncomfortable using untested nightlies. IF YOU WANT BLEEDING EDGE, USE THE NIGHTLIES!!!
Unlike with some other JellyBean roms on this forum, I believe that all users should know exactly what is being built in/for the ROM. That is why the device/vendor/qcom proprietary repos I use and maintain are available for all to see and contribute to HERE. The codefireX and kernel github links are above the download link. Please do not ask me to include any prebuilt or proprietary applications in this ROM; I will refuse, or ignore you entirely. I removed the prebuilt terminal emulator and rommanager apps from the vendor repo for the above reason! Using proprietary or closed source applications/ROMs is and always will be a security concern I would rather not expose users to.
Changelogs are not available, however you may use github (always current), or BananaGranola's great flowchart listed below. The kernel built with this is the KangBang 7x30 Kernel I maintain, and the stable branch. Please check the kernel thread or github for kernel changelogs.
I will be rarely able to respond to questions on this thread, so please help your fellow android user out or visit twitter/IRC

NOT simply a re-named CM build like another ROM on this forum
Built with a custom toolchain, strict aliasing, -O3 completely (including thumb_cflags), and other Linaro optimizations such as OOM/LMK changes. JUST TRY TO FIND A FASTER SOURCE BUILT JELLYBEAN ROM!
Faster, more often AOSP merge strategy than CM (and not just the release branches, but also master/jb-dev)
TimeLapse functional in camera (opposed to CM ROMs)
Face detection functional in the camera
Lots more but I'm boring myself already

Thanks Synergye, I really appreaciate this! Use this as my daily driver and it's been a dream
Checking Bananagranola's flowchart it says it's 1024, so can we say this is "just" (like if it's not enough ) 1024 nightly?, since many people kept saying 1024 was a very stable release... Are these periodical releases a nightly release that you consider stable or have differences from that nightlies?
Is it clear or I just mess it up?
dude, you just did too much for us! :good: :laugh:

I believe the SR1 is the same as the 1102 nightly that's coming out later tonight. Since I don't have that yet, the flowchart isn't updated yet. It will be later tonight. Synergye said in IRC that there will be some changes in tonight's nightly.

These are built separately and I test to make sure there are no glaring issues. SR1 is basically the same as the 1102 nightly which just went up (hence the working face detection), so there have indeed been a few feature additions (i.e. wifi ssid in notification shade) which will make it into the flow chart soon no doubt.
tl;dr: These are tested, whereas the nightlies are untested, automated builds.
EDIT: thank bananagranola, not me. He beat me to it

Updated flowchart to reflect changes in 1102. Reorganized Status Bar into 2 categories, Miscellaneous and Notification Shade, and added Show WiFi network. PDF and ODG at the new Google Doc location.
EDIT: I just noticed my name in the OP! I feel all warm and fuzzy; I've never been in one of those lists before.
i think jellytime now got competition thanks synergye

Hey Raza Qadri, please don´t get me wrong but I think it´s not fair to compare cfX with Jellytime. Synergye has stated several times what´s going on in that side of the forum. There has been no competitors to codefireX, since all of them are based on Synergye´s work or at least part of it.

[ROM] [v0.1] [AOSP] [g1/32b] Froyo2G1 "This Froyo is Melting" {6/30/10 x:xxpm PST}
My G1 was long ago fried, I have no G1/32b. Read my sig if you desire.
Foreword:
Yup, its here. It is a dream compiled froyo ROM, but as usual I will be adding full 32b support. I have A LOT of work to do on it, but many have bugged and you have won. It is a straight AOSP ROM at the moment, but my tweaks will make their way in as usual. This is my major project at the moment. Post bugs that have not been posted only please.
For a ROM of this nature, a working/not working list is necessary:
Working
* WiFi
* Bluetooth
* Data
* Multitouch
* Lights for G1
* LED's for G1
* GPS
* Market
* Google sign in
Not Working
* Camera
* Camcorder
* Visuals for Gapps are pretty screwy
* Network Location (need an updated unodexed netloc, shouldnt be hard)
* Things I'll add, testers/users let me know!!!

this is purely AOSP based
the other was a port
Will flash as soon as it's ready & let you know how it goes.
hey king, how ya doin? did you include JIT on this build? also what speed additions have you included?
when you add the gapps, try to get Market to not FC, AND not have a limited app selection.. So far with froyo roms its only one... sad sad.
Also doesn't say whether JIT is working on this rom or not.
This rom is great with pershoots kernel!
can't wait for you and all the other devs to get froyo going one step higher

wtf
there is really no difference at all from this and Jubeh's Froyo
if you want swap, download the busybox app from the market, install busybox and do swapon
flash pershoot's kernel (it works with froyo) and overclock it to 576.
heh

why release an incomplete rom anyways? Your wasting time, wasting mod's time, and wasting bandwidth. Instead of compiling, why dont you contribute to CM6 on github.

i dont contribute on here but jesus theres some pathetic idiots around sticking their oars in... twice ive felt the need to comment on negativity in the same day!! just be grateful theres people putting their ideas into developing for a 2 year old piece of hardware and making it great! Once upon a time there was this company that made phones called HTC.
Now HTC had this habit of making pretty neat phones and then being absolutely crap about releasing source code. Oh wait, I said "had" when I really meant BLOODY HAS.
So now that HTC has FINALLY released gingersense sources after much ado, I bring to you the initial release of a kernel that is named after the variety of tea I was drinking
at the time I decided it would be a good idea to come up with a name for this bloody thing: Golden Monkey (which is an awesome tea btw).
Current things of interest:
- Overclocking and static undervolting
- CIFS
- TUN
- TinyRCU
It's early yet, and there is a lot more stuff due to be added in the coming days, but as I just couldn't put this down until I at least put up *something* for you guys, I'm
giving you this early build to play with.
It turns out that while these builds are aimed at gingersense, they may also work on CM7 and other AOSP-based roms (your mileage may vary, I make no guarantees ;D)
Are there bugs? Yes probably ;D Consider this a preview for the moment.

From Keyan Mobli's google+
We know that you've been waiting for this for a while and other people have already had this going, but we hold ourselves to a very high standard. Although the device is now opensource, we will holdoff on releasing an official build until we (Namely +Shane Francis and +Ed Carrigan) finish up the final bugs (which are mainly in kernel).
Didnt see this till now. Thanks!
Keep in mind that they are using fixes from OpenSensation team ( vorbeth and interviligium). Great news anyways.

So hopefully, this brings us a little closer to an stable build after they get the problems fixed up in the kernel.

*****[UPDATE 14/09/2012]*****
Ohai everybody!
During last night BBQLog has gone through a massive internal update. Team has done serious improvements in our interfaces with github and we are very proud of the results. In fact, where we used to take 15 minutes to fetch and know if there was changes on all the 1100 repos for cyanogenmod project, we managed to achieve an amazing drop down to just 2 minutes. This was a legendary non precedent work by TeamBBQ awesome devs.
Also, we are more precise than never on filtering the repos by device and project. This means that now is very unlikely to find out a change list for your device that is not supposed to be there. Translations are filtered too, so no more of them flooding the list. You can have them back if you want on the very bottom of the page. Finally there was a gazillion minor optimizations and code cleaning.
We really hope you enjoy this new era and i want to warn you all to stay tunned cause this is just a preparation for even bigger steps by TeamBBQ. There is more to come cause we are here to stay.
As usual, feel free to report bugs and comment.
Cheers,
TeamBBQ.

We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash! If you have questions, ask your fellow users or ask us in #teamcarbon on freenode IRC.
1.6 is a pretty big update for us! Check out the changelog on our goo.im page for more, but here are the highlights:
-We've fixed PIE! It no longer decides to be invisible from time to time.
-We fixed the battery charge light! None of us use it but apparently you guys are just nuts for it!
-Dark Carbon! Huge props to Slim Roms for coming up with this unique and awesome feature.
-Lockscreen theming
-CM skinny battery is back!
-Volume key lock on silent mode option
-Backup tool - if you're flashing a new version of Carbon and already have the required version of gapps installed, it will be backed up and restored during install. This applies to system apps and custom host files as well. Please note that you should only dirty flash from Carbon to Carbon. It's ok if it's another version or a nightly - just not over other roms. Super handy for you crack flashers. Make sure you've got the most recent Gapps though, and if you're flashing from a factory reset, you'll still need to install it after install of course.
-Long pressing the "clear recents" button clears the cache
-AOKP's awesome new navbar settings
-MMS and call "breathe" feature. Makes the notification icon fade in and out.
-Mute dings when changing volume
-Disable/enable CRT effect on screen on/off.
-3rd party keyboard bug fixed
-deodexed again
-stability and speed enhancements
-a million other little things as well - we basically don't even sleep anymore.

Features
TWRP2.5 with the latest Kernel from effsi we worked on
Remember that we also have nightlies available. Please remember that these are unsupported - they aren't releases, they are automatic builds of the most recent code. Sometimes they'll be excellent, sometimes they won't work, sometimes they won't even build. Expect the unexpected. Not for anyone who finds themselves intimidated by this - you're on your own. Demands that we improve the nightlies will be countered with laughter, taunts, and public shaming. Really ridiculous demands will be memorialized on our social media feeds.
Support
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our goo.im page linked above. It's new, but expanding fast. Just like us!
3) Ask a question here. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Ask a question on our IRC channel. Connect to #teamcarbon on irc.freenode.net or click here. You'll find several other Carbon fans and usually one or more devs as well. Please be polite.

Thanks to your help we now have the machines we need for nightlies. We couldn't have done it without you! Remember, every penny you send to us goes right back into the rom. It's used for hardware, server costs, etc - all the things that help us make Carbon better with every release. Your support means the world to us! If you've enjoyed Carbon, please consider a donation toward this goal. Thank you, and we hope you continue to enjoy Carbon!

Use 2013 gapps no time to add it to thread. If you use slim gapps no swype at all. It does have a dark setting just like slim though. If you can find it on carbon goo there's a
Link to modified and inverted play store you may flash it after 2013 gapps. Its modded for DPI changes as well.

Wow recently so many 4.2.2-based ROMs got released and they functions so similarly (at least to me because I'm fond of AOSP-style)... Not to discourage anyone including @unjust who built all these for us, but yeah I'll stick to CM nightlies... Have to prepare harder for the damn college entrance test and don't have too much time to care for flashing the E4G...
Just keep the good times rolling @unjust and all devs out there! :beer:

Give me about 6hours and another ROM will be up. This was requested by effsi again it is a secret. Carbon ROM finished yesterday but uploaded it today so both devices I maintain released within seconds of each other.
Remember its a secret unless effsi pops up and tells.

DANG Unjust - U R pushing these suckers out ! Gonna DL this baby and give it a spin ... ( I really love Dark BeanStalk though ... wonder what else U got up your sleeve ... )

I agree. To me they're too similar. It would be awesome if we got some variation. I wish xboxfanj would've continued his Sense4All project. Also, maybe someone could port the stock ROM from the Galaxy S4. Even just a heavily modified and themed AOSP ROM would be a nice change. I'm not complaining because I love CM10; just putting out some suggestions/food for thought.
