Installed the latest AOKP Rom a couple of days ago, really brought this tablet alive IMHO. One slight annoyance that I probably caused myself and just haven't been able to figure out what I did. I now have a small blue bar under the home screen button. I don't remember it being there when I first loaded the Rom, but it might have been. Is this by default or does anyone know how I can remove it?
Its the battery bar disable it in the rom control settings

For no reason, suddenly, the status bar FCs and then disappears. I cannot bring it back without a full restart. does any1 have an idea why? I'm running a relatively new gTab on CM7.0.3
Also, man, the boot up time is in minutes. Many games don't open or FC and everything is laggy. I really am sorta regretting getting this tablet. Any tips on speeding up would be greatly appreciated.
My GTab/CM7.03 setup does the same thing. At first everything was great but after several weeks it started doing just as you describe with the exception that if I don't reboot eventually the status bar comes back. I have yet to figure out what is causing it. I have been contemplating trying some honeycomb just to see if I can stay with one of those, if not, I may revert to a froyo version to see what the limitations are with that. I do know on my cell froyo seems faster with less slowdowns that the gingerbread though I have stayed with gingerbread there.
Hello there everyone. I've had my HTC Sensation since September and so far it has been a very enjoyable experience, with only one abnormal reset. However, in the past two days, some weird stuff has happened.
Every once in a while, I see the stock lockscreen flicker over my current screen (Even in an app). It is currently disabled by WidgetLocker as well.
The first day I had installed SweeterHome 2, StatusBar +, and also the application Faster Drawer. The first reset happened as I went to open Faster Drawer (Not for the first time, however). It then rebooted, but things seemed to work fine. Also, the app Profile Scheduler was no longer able to change the screen brightness when I clicked on a profile, just the other settings. I had to go into Android settings to do it manually. (There I found the slider down to 0 as I wanted it, and when I touched it, the screen brightness lowered to where it was supposed to be)
The second reset happened today and was even weirder. I was looking through my Minimal Reader widget when I was interrupted by the white and green HTC boot logo, and the phone took a few minutes to reset. When it came to, all of my widgets were gone, and replaced by "Tap to restore" squares (On both WidgetLocker and SweeterHome 2)
I really have no clue what is going on, though I am very disappointed by the reboots, especially for losing the widgets (Basically my entire homescreen was made of them, it will take a long time to restore). The only thing I messed with was the Accessibility applications; I had to check the one for StatusBar + and I clicked the one for WidgetSoid Notifications, but then disabled it. (Which by the way, the WidgetSoid notification toggles no longer work until I use the system toggle for data, then I can start using them)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am using a stock, unrooted HTC Sensation 4G on T-Mobile, running 2.3.4, and it had that firmware update by T-Mobile a few months ago.

the most ugly thing is i saw it with another sensation user in my famely to before i bought my phone. it got sended away by warrenty got back prob solved but more arised it began also after couple months. mine started doing it i rooted/s-off mine and started testing roms wich one feld like i wanted to use. because of quick changing i cound watch that after an rom from here the prob got solved so here are my suggestions:
1 send it and maybe get a worse phone back(telling from experience)
2 root/s-off test some roms and away goes problem
The issue just became worse. This time, without a reset, my WidgetLocker widgets were lost again, and replaced by the "Tap to restore" dialog. I was playing music at the time with the screen off (no other apps running), and it was not interrupted. When I went to unlock the phone, they were gone.
Any thoughts? This seems like a pretty serious issue to me. I'd like to stay stock since I don't have the money to replace the phone if something were to go wrong.
Try removin the apps and see if that helps, you seem to have alot on there that removes or modifies functionality
Hi all,
First off, I tried posting this in the Q&A section but it said I did not have permission to do so (even though the rules prohibit you from posting in the developer threads and direct you to the Q&A forum )
I just upgraded my Samsung Infuse to the latest Jelly Bean 4.2 CyanogenMod10 ROM. Everything went smoothly, however, I am noticing a few issues, some of which are quite important:
1- The time is 5 hours ahead. I used network-provided time and the minute is correct, but it is +5 hours. So instead of 2:19PM right now, it's 7:19. If I set it to manual time, it seems to stay correct, but I would prefer to let the network handle it, and as soon as I turn it back on, it changes immediately. So...is it thinking my time zone is incorrect or something?
2- My device isn't syncing with the Google Play website. I access the app on my phone and even started downloading some apps, but when I go to the Play website it says I haven't accessed it from my device yet, and it also says "you have no devices".
3- I swear I am not going crazy, but the first time after upgrading I pulled down the status bar from the top and in the right hand corner there was a button which opened a screen full of widgets to toggle such as bluetooth, sleep, etc, yet now when I do that all I see is the date in the top left corner... where did that other button go?
4- Also not going crazy, but when I upgraded and saw the home screen, all I had was a screen for icons which is great. However, after a few minutes, a bar at the top appeared for Google search/voice. It appears on all of my home screens now, and it appears fixed. I cannot seem to remove it or adjust it at all. Where did this come from and can I remove it? I definitely do not want it there.
So far I am liking this modded ROM of JellyBean and I think everyone who helped make it possible, but if some of these things are in fact glitches, I may have to revert back to ICS (only upgraded to fix the Bluetooth anyway).
I am not sure if any of all of these issues are already known or not, but just looking for some general help.
Many thanks to anyone who can help!
This is more to bring an issue to light than to ask a question about it, but I recently tested out a few other roms while waiting for a carbonrom update (crackflashing addiction got the better of me, don't judge) and I noticed something on a couple of them that was really worrying. My home button stopped working. I have no idea how it happened, but it wasn't really a big deal since I use the navbar anyway on my phone. That was the really strange thing though. When I activated the navbar the home button on the navbar stopped working. Tried a couple of things and tweaked around a little, but nothing worked. So after restoring my nandroid I installed the carbonrom update and my home button worked again. I was just wondering if anybody else has had this issue with 4.2 roms at all and if so, what do you think could be the culprit behind it? Thanks for the input.

Did you do a full wipe before flashing a new ROM? If not then you should do that next time.
Ok, so normally I use Pacrom as a daily driver. On 4.3 is had hybrid settings which were great on my Nexus 4. I changed the signal, battery, time/date, and softkey buttons all to purple. I thought getting a Nexus 5 was going to be great, until I realized this white theme for kitkat is practically unchangeable. What happened to androids being completely customizable?? This white theme sucks. So my question is, how do I change the status bar, and navbar icons' color?? Are there any Theme apps that will do this? Is there a ROM that can do this, or any app in Xposed? (I don't normally like Closed because a lot of the apps that CAN do this in Xposed require you to not be on a custom ROM, which just isn't going to happen for me. I hate the stock ROMs.)
I'm very seriously considering buying a Nexus 4 again just to have aall my customization options back, but if I can avoid spending $200, I'd love that All of the customizing is what kept me using Androids, but if Google has removed a lot of this after he kitkat update, then theres no reason for me to use Android anymore.

I don't get why you're having such a problem, literally everything you can do with KitKat on the N4 you can do on the N5. So however you changed your theme on the N4, do it on the N5. Surely whatever ROM you liked on the N4 is available on the N5, and there are a ton of Xposed modules for it too (grabitybox, nexusnavbars, etc...). If your favorite ROM isn't available, that's not the phone's fault. The point is, they are both Nexus devices, and both run stock Android, same builds and everything. So again, no clue what the problem is.
When i upgraded the N4 to kitkat, I couldn't change the white theme on the navbar or status bar either. The same thing happened. I used PACrom KitKat on the N4 and N5. Certain Xposed modules work, but some of them, such as the ones for the Navbar don't work if you are on a custom ROM like Pacrom. They only work on Stock Roms that are AOSP. (Which I don't use, because PacRom has more customization features.) But on PACrom 4.3 jellybean, I could customize the navbar and status bar icon colors.
