hello,
m using ics cm9 for my lg optimus net
i downloaded gapps also, but after flashing them i did not notice any change!! even i have to download gmail app from play store ater flashing gapps,
then what is the use of gapps in a custome rom?
also what is the meaning of 'offline charging' ???
Offline charging is when you turn the phone off, then plug it in to charge it. If offline charging is enabled in your phone, then it will not turn on, and it will only charge. Most CM9/10 ROMs have offline charging disabled, because it wasn't working right. So, if you plug in the charger, the phone will power on.
The LG Optimus series have a small /system partition, so users often have a problem with it filling up, and when you flash gapps, it doesn't all fit. This is deifnitely a big issue with all CM10 ROMs, but less so with CM9 ROMs. Just make sure you have enough free space on /system when you flash gapps.

Hi team,
hope you can help me...I just rooted my phone, did everything what was needed before flashing a custom rom.
I tried the Android Revolution HD 2.1 custom rom, and it worked fine, but once I made my first phone call, the process com.android.phone started to consume 100% of my CPU, the phone started to be hot, battery rapidly down etc. The only thing helped was the restart and not to make phone call. I searched in the different forums, I tried the USB debugging and also to clear calendar cache, but nothing...I flashed a different kernel as well (Leddroid) but no luck...still the same issue, 100% cpu usage after a phone call.
I decided to flash another custom rom, which was Leedroid 2.2.0...was hoping that it will fix the problem, but again...phone call and cpu on 100%...the strange thing is, that this time it did not do right after the first phone call, but 2 days later. Tried to disable all the synchs, usb debugging, calendar cache etc. but still got this problem
Anybody can help please? I would appreciate
Weird..
I've noticed my phone burning my leg while its in my pocket randomly when im not using it? Maybe a bug on HTC's behalf.Download fast reboot off the market and try using that to kill all the apps, its the best one ive used and normally stops it being so hot
Thank you, but it did not help...it actually kills everything, but as soon as I make the next phone call, the CPU gets back to 100% :-(
Anybody can help please...I installed a different kernel as well, but no luck...tried stock, Leedroid kernel and still got the 100% cpu issue.
Perhaps a full wipe can help. Make a Backup before.
Thanks MysthMob...I tried that one as well...used the SuperWipe from mike and from Leedroid as well...reinstalled the custom rom, everything worked fine till the first phone call...than it went up again to 100%
I was thinking of that it is caused by any 3rd party app...I have these installed:
Advanced task killer pro
Battery widget pro
Automatic bluetooth dongle pro
You dont need a task killer! Sense has one built in called Low Memory Killer
Good to know thank you...just removed, but the problem still persist...I am tired to reboot the phone all the time I make a phone call.
If you still have problems i would send it back for repair, Maybe it has a hardware fault
Do not think so...it was working fine with stock Rom...its just in custom Roms..but with all? I flashed back stock Rom and its working fine, but I want a custom one, I think I do not need to explain why
I will probably go back to the stock rom :-(
Mike is planing to release his 3.0.1 version, maybe he will include a fix...will wait till he posts it
hi... i recently installed the FireFly 3.0 rom but i got some problems...
1. i installed a game and when i try to play that game is in slow motion and laggy
2. my battery when i unplug the ac adapter says 99% then in a few minutes says 98% and im not using my captivate at all
3. some apps when i open it are very slow, i have to use a Fast Reboot app to clean memory, some times cleans 170 Mb or 150Mb
i tested first cyanogenmod and is cool no problems i dont have to use fast reboot, is faster i can play the game perfectly, no drain of battery, but then i change the rom to firefly 3.0 because some people told me is cool

Bluetooth (BlueZ) issues on Samsung Tab7.7 CarbonRom (latest by Daniel_hk)
Hi!
Having flashed this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2723126 pretty one, I've experiencing unstable bluetooth connection with almost everything. Philips bluetooth music station connects after 10 seconds only for half a minute then drops (i can see a slight screen flash-redraw on the phablet), car multimedia does not discover the phablet as a 'phone' device (only audio), which means no convenient hands-free for me. And I'm not alone to these problems: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=55861531&postcount=103, 'alnon' describes same issue.
Can someone check out this ROM and/or confirm this bug? Also, if anyone knows of a solution/fix, please advise!
A Big Thank-You to Daniel
I've used some of Daniel's roms before, but I have to say that the Carbon rom is by far the best -- fast, with low battery usage, and a chance to use KitKat.
Thanks.
Samsung Tab 6800 CarbonRom
Hi,
I just installed the unofficial CarbonRom(4.4.4) release on my Samsung Galaxy Tab P6800. I upgraded from official rooted ICS using TWRP. The tab boots up fine but hangs within a minute of operation. Please help and let me know if you guys have any ideas on what is causing this.
Regards
Here I installed last build (december one) and bluetooth cant receive files from another android, neither can turned off. I have a p6800.
Bluetooth bug... cant turn off
I really like this carbon Rom. It runs like a Mercedes SL. But i have one big problem,. Once i turn on Bluetooth, i am not able to dissable it. Every time i try to switch it of, it turns on itself short time after again. I think it is the so called "cant't turn oft issue". But i cant find a solution to fix this. Actually Bluetooth is always in in my Device. But i dont need it.
Any help would be great
Best regards

Bluetooth problem
Hi there,
I was reading for years until I yesterday decidet to flash (from stock) to this rom.
All went fine (besides a corrupt backup, sh. happens)
All seems to work besides: bluetooth.
I thougt there should be no Bluetooth issue with this rom?
I can turn BT on or off, but the Tab doesn't find any bluetooth device.
I canNOT turn on its visibility for other devices. Its not found by eg. my pc.
Anyone who had the same problem?
With stockrom it worked all fine, no hardware change.
THANK YOU - to anybody who finds some minutes to care about a newbie

This Build work well except Bt
I installed the 12 december version with opengapps nano GAPPS package. But I get a horrible wakelock on google play services, no matter what I try. I can't seem to track it down or solve it.. (tracked it down with Wakelock Detector, GSAM Battery Monitor). It's preventing deep sleep. Any tips?
Tab 7.7 CarbonRom KitKat starts automatically when charging
Hi,
I've installed [ROM][4.4.4r2]p6800/p6810/i815(12Dec2014)CarbonROM Kitkat Unofficial on my tab 7.7. with TWRP recovery project 3.0.2-0. Although everything seems to be working fine, except known issues, I have one issue. When I turn off my tablet and start charging, my tablet automatically starts/reboots after a minute or so. Is there a way from preventing this automatically reboot when charging, while I my tab is shut down? I want to charge my tab turned off because it will charge much faster. I've been looking around for same issues of different devices and possible solutions but nothing seems to work for me:
- Disabeling Stay a Wake while charging.
- Turn off while charging cable is already connected.
- Switch to original cables, chargers or not using data cable
- Can't edit LPM, PLayLPM, IPod, etc., because I can't find such battery animation file
#!/system/bin/sh
sleep 40 (Maybe I can change the amount of time to boot while charging, e.g. to 100.000)
/system/bin/reboot
- Delete Cache and Data-storage.
- Maximize CPU Frequency to max. 1400 Mhz.
Can somebody please help me and find me a solution!?

The automatic reboot when charging was a bug in the old Kitkat Rom's that Daniel fixed with Android Lollipop rom's, its a feature of those builds.
Well, I've updated my Nexus 5 about a month ago when I got the OTA. After the update I made a Factory Reset, and installed all the apps from scratch as I usually do. My phone has never been rooted, or had the bootloader unlocked, or anything... I'm just a regular user. I've been experiencing the most frustrating problems ever since the update. I've never had this many problems through Lollipop or even KitKat. I'll make a list of the things I've noticed:
- Battery Life got worse. I just don't see any improvement at all. With 5.1.1 I got to work with 100%, and when I got back home, about 85%. Now I get home with 75% - 70%.
- Problems with WiFi. The first 2 weeks using Marshmallow, I've noticed on the Battery Settings that WiFi was using between 25% - 45% of the battery. Usually on 5.1.1 it used between 1% and 5%. I solved this making a Factory Reset and a Wipe Cache Data from the Recovery Mode. Also I disabled both WiFi and Bluetooth Scanning from the Location settings.
- Settings app crashing when trying to access to "Data Usage" settings. I had this problem on Lollipop too. It solved itself after updating to 5.1.1 but it came back on 6.0. I solved it making another Wipe Cache Data from the Recovery Mode.
- After fixing this other two, I've started noticing problems with the Proximity Sensor on calls and Whatsapp while listening to audio messages. I haven't solved this one yet, but I don't care much about it.
- Apps crashing, particularly Google Photos and sometimes Instagram (when trying to take a photo or a video from the app, I didn't have any problem when uploading from the gallery.).
- Slow charging or even discharging. I usually plug my phone at night to the wall adapter. Every once in a while it charges really slow or even discharges. I have no idea if it's the battery itself, or the microusb connector. I even bought a new wall adapter, and the problem persisted. THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN ON 5.1.1!
I'll try to upload screen captures and more details later. I know many reported some of this problems before so please, comment and help!

Hello !
You can solve all of your problems very easily !
- Download the Android 6.0 ROM from Google Developer and flash it. That should fix all of your softwares problems. [https://dl.google.com/dl/android/aosp/hammerhead-mra58n-factory-aeca4139.tgz]
- To fix the charging issue, which I faced it too ! Use another charger which has the following details - 2.0A/5V (I use Samsung Tab Charger, charges real quick !! )
That's all !!
Hello,
I'm finding that, if I have my phone on the wireless charger and it reboots, it bootloops until it's taken off the wireless charger (MI/Unlocked screen comes up, then just reboots endlessly). It only seems to happen with wireless charging - if it's just plugged in, it boots normally, and wireless charging works fine after it does boot. However, I've got a few add-ons (Magisk, EdXposed) installed that cause an occasional random reboot, and if that happens when the phone's on a wireless charger and I'm depending on it for an alarm, that alarm never goes off. Just updated to 10.3.3 global FW and it's still doing it. Currently running Evolution X, but this has been happening since long before I switched to Evolution - not sure if it happens on stock/MIUI, but I don't have a good way to back everything up (since TWRP doesn't restore properly yet) and I'd rather not start from scratch just to test this.
So, can a few others test this and see what happens? I'm curious if it happens to others with the same phone/FW, stock, global/china, etc. Would love to know if this is the phone's fault or the kernel/rom's.
Edit: Decided to try booting recovery and fastboot too. Recovery (mauronofrio's TWRP) does not boot, but it will enter Fastboot while on the wireless charger.
It's a known bug for all custom ROMs
