I need help. My p500 start after 10-15 attempts (all the time starts in emergency mode -_- ). Phone is only rooted. After connecting to the USB, computer doesn't see SD card.

When I click "read phone info" the program shuts down. When I try to launch software update, the computer restarts (blue screen...)
I try this on XP / Seven - same result.

Do this:-
remove ur battery
connect ur phone.
In KDZ Updater,In PhoneMode use CS_EMERGENCY or EMERGENCY
and then flash the KDZ File!
and do install the msxml.msi file.!
and also The read phone info hangs no matter what u do so don't worry about that!
I removed battery and KDZ works fine but now:

go to device manager ( right click on computer then properties and then open device manager )
go to modems and then disable LGE Android USB modem and LGE Virtual Modem!

Today I try to install recovery thunder (to flash cm7) and somehow it worked. But when I get into recovery I turned phone off... Now I'm stuck on emergency screen. I turned off everything with "LG Modem" in name and this is what I got:

Hii me too having problem with KDZ..
I was trying to make a NANDROID backup with clockwork mod...but on doing reboot to recovery, I entered fastboot mode..
I found two methods to get it back

but after the "fastboot erase recovery" command...it fails to detect my phone...stays on "waiting for phone" for very long

and phone is restarting automatically on that stage.
I have also checked it with LG-Utils-kp500_ks360 provided in
cyanogenroms Tools section but the same error also occuring in 4%
of total task.
Please suggest me some option that by which ways we can upgrade my
GW620 to Gingerbread.

i connected my gw 620 to pc and it asked for update, when the update was in midel of the procces, my kid moved the usb cabel and phone got disconnected, when trying to turn on phone i get black screen and nothing else happens, i am abel to go into emergency mode and tryed kdz updater to load v10e firmware but i keep getting 1 same error , upgrade error error code 4008

Hi All,
I have a GW620 wich I want to upgrade to 2.3
Problem is, somehow I can't downgrade my firmware. It's stuck.
Am using Windows 7 Home Premium x32 and all the apps I use I open it with Administrator privileges..
Also have .net 3.5 and xsxml 4.0 (or something like that, don't know the exact name anymore)
Can't enable root permission via the hidden menu, and all fastboot combinations I have tried fail (and i've tried it really MANY times at all possible timings).
I can get ADB to work and boot to emergency mode but that still won't do.
A full factory reset doesn't help either..
I have the V20D_00 firmware. Is it completely locked or something? Anyone can help me wit this one?

Got it working now.
Found a version v20d_00 with fastboot, and that version did install without a problem.
For future readers I have uploaded the kdz. Also found a version for v20g_00 so uploaded that one also. Have tested them both and they are working.

As soon as you start the phone, the screen yellow "emergency mode" appears.
And as it is impossible to install drrver "LG Mobile USB Modem", the phone is not recognized by any software.
Manipulation for Hard Reset I tried, does not work.
Can you help me please?

OK,we really can't help you until you tell us what exactly you did.You sound like you were thinking about an update and you found your phone in emergency mode.

I wanted to update because my phone said me that an update was available. So I connected the phone to the computer, the software LG began updating. Once completed, the software shown me that everything was OK and that the update was completed successfully.
Unfortunately my phone it was stuck on this background yellow with "Emergency Mode!"
That's what happened
Was this when the phone was still connected to the computer or after you disconnected it?

Ok, nobody will help me...
So, i have a problem to install this driver : "LG Mobile USB Modem". That's why my PC don't recognize my LG Phone.
If i Can install this driver, i could install a new firmware. But I can't... Do you know why ??

I diasbled LGE modem and try to install v10A, V10C, v10g and v10h firmware every time it cant finish correctly and say

You can try disabling this screen pressing Power button, Low Volume/High Volume (I don´t remember, but I think it´s Low button) and the Home screen button at the same time. If the screens get´s black, but after release it backs to the yellow screen, you guys will need to flash the phone again. Download the lastest firmwares for P700/P705 here: http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=13
Make sure your phones aren´t F or G variants, because my phone is internacional and I´m brazillian, so, when I try to flash a brazillian ROM, the phone simply get stuck on LG logo. Use KDZ to flash this, If the error persists, use another KDZ file, with another firmware, or another country.

I saw that you setted the type to CDMA, and that´s wrong. Try to flash on 3GQCT option.

You cant flash a p705f firmware on a p700/p705 cell Phone. Brazil does have a diferent model for optimus L7 (p705f). My LG is imported too, so I cant flash a brazillian firmware because it doesnt works on another l7 models, i dont know why. But you can flash a P700 firmware on a p705, and vice versa.
