Sense 3.6 crash cant load apps or backup data - HTC Sensation

I have somehow messed up my phone.
I had a small problem with wifi and internet turning on automatically so i decided to update the firmware to one of a newer rom and now the phone automatically freezes and turns off.
After this i installed InsertCoin Evolution Sense 4 v2.4 – Sensation and without wipe and now sense 3.6 crashes and i cant load up apps.
I was going to try with a full wipe when i realise i have not back up anything.
When i boot up my phone all i get is the contacts menu and cant access to anything else but the settings.
All my apps, contacts, everything is on the phone and i cant seem to backup any of them as i cant access titanium backup or Google play to download another one and install it.
I tried loading it from settings but it just gives me an option to close the apps and clear cache nothing about loading the program.
All im left with is writing down the contacts and app list i have, and no way of getting backing up it up.

[Q] Rooted EVO needs help after new kernel flashed.

I rooted my HTC EVO, then wanted a new kernel for better battery, wanted the new gingerbread ROM too but after I rooted, I deleted a few unwanted, stock apps. After I did this, I started to get a lot of force close messages. Certain apps won't even open. So I tried to unzip a new kernel and I wiped all my data from the hboot. Now it starts up, will go to locked home screen. I try to unlock it, it's the white htc screen then loads into the set up (i.e. keyboard usage, etc) and in the last step a force close message pops up then goes through the whole scenario again. Now I want to just put a whole new system on so I can have my evo back. HELP?

Download the rom, kernel, and Gapps (http://www.goo-inside.me/gapps/latest/7/) on your computer. Boot into recovery. I don't use Clockwork, and I'm assuming you rooted with Unrevoked, so that's probably the recovery you have, but try to find the option to mount your SD card via USB, and move the files to your SD card. Do not unzip them. They must be .zip files. Unmount your SD card, wipe your data, wipe your cache, wipe your Dalvik cache, repeat all the wipes at least one more time, then flash the .zips in this order: 1. ROM 2. Gapps 3. kernel. Then reboot, and you should have a working system.
If you use ROM Manager and created a backup then you could flash (install) the OTA ROM Sprint sent out a few months back. This OTA ROM will be for the Rooted evo, so you won't lose root. Go to youtube.com and search this, "How to install new Sprint Htc Evo OTA 3.29.651.5 and keep root." In his comments he'll provide the link to that zip file and you can flash it from the recovery mode. Make sure you wipe the dalvik/cache and then flash zip file from sd card. It will appear to look like your initial problem but it will get passed the white htc screen. You could turn it off and turn it on again if HTC screen stays longer than 10 min. Once the ROM kicks in, you'll notice its stripped of all your cusomizations. If you used rom manager to back up your ROM then redownload ROM manager from market and the superuser app that came with the OTA zip file will allow ROM manager to run. At that point select manager and restore backups from ROM manager and select your backup and it should put you back to where you were prior to the problem.
Sorry so long, but I'm very detailed and don't want to assume you know what I'm talking about.
P.S. similar situation happened to me yesterday I fixed my issue like described above.
Another Thing haha, don't delete your stock apps just freeze them using Titanium backup. Freezing does the same thing for battery life. You wont see them in app drawer and they wont run in background.

[Q] can't prevent apps stopping

greetings,
I have a new GTablet, started with Tap UI version 1.0-2763. email began stopping, so installed clockworkMod Recovery, did backup, installed update.zip, which turned out to be Tap UI v 1.1-3588. email and more stops, so no help. Also, new problem -- even though System Storage sees \sdcard2, the photo, music and video apps don't see the card. So:
1. how can system be cleaned up to prevent app stopping?
2. how to get the apps to include \sdcard2? (Answer: do a Factory Data Reset)
Thank you
If u try titanium backup and clear the data app by app that worked for me

[Q] Accidently deleted the launcher on 2.2

I accidentally deleted my launcher application while messing around in Titanium backup. My phone was getting hung up on the Samsung boot screen when I tried to restart it. I have now tried a factory reset, and the phone now boots to a black screen, I can receive calls and texts but can't access anything manually. I tried installing from the web market but that is not working. Does anyone have any suggestions? Much appreciated....I am desperate.
Edit: Also I can't mount my phone for some reason x_x

If you do a hard reset, you can restore the whole system. Deleting the launcher while booted in Android won't delete anything from the ROM and can be restored that way. But if you don't mind using a different launcher, you can load an apk of your desired launcher on the card and then find a way to get into any screen that will let you get to a file manager. Then you can install the launcher from the apk you loaded on the card. Mess around with the buttons and see if you can't pull up any screen that will eventually get to a file manager.

I did a hard reset, but now it has the same problem - no launcher. It is just a black screen. I played around with it for a long while before coming here trying to figure out any way to get into any menus etc...but nothing.
If you had your device in debugging mode, then you can always download an alternative launcher such as launcherpro on your computer, put it in your platform tools directory and install it through adb. If you need further help with this post your comments and I will read them later and reply.

P.s. if this helped press the thanks button
hard reset doesn't fix apps in system partition, so you can't restore without adb to push a new launcher.

What process did you use to "hard reset"? And which phone do you have?

Held down the volume down, call, and end buttons to boot into a menu where I selected factory reset. The phone that I am having these issues with is a Virgin Mobile Samsung Intercept.

0) download launcher app from ur pc and place it in the root of mem card of phone and rename it as launcher.apk
1) press green button after switching on the phone
2) the keypad appears. now click contacts tab
3) try to send a msg to any one of the contact
4) the messaging service will now open

Is the phone rooted?
Do you have a custom kernel with CWM recovery?
If you do, you should be able to install the launcher using cwm.
There's a specific forum for your phone in XDA. You might find answers there to.
Had same problem, now fixed
Although I have a g2x and I'm running a 2.3.4 rom, this should still work. I did the same exact thing to my phone. I had my wife send me an email (gmail) with a link to google in it. When I recieved the notification, I swiped down, opened email, clicked link, then searched "Go Launcher EX apk download". Once I found a good download for this launcher and downloaded it, I was good to use my phone again. Piece of cake

Hey i'm a noobie but i have a 100% way on how to fix your problem i was once too in that situation and all i did was enter recovery mode (no cwm/twrp) factory reset 2x, clear cache 2x and "Rebooted" When i was in setup wizard it asked me to set up my gmail account. Wifi is recommended but 3G/4G is also fine. If on wifi it will not connect to google servers but instead give you the option to connect to wifi. Connect to your wifi and finish the setup. When your at the black screen you should get a notification for updates on the play store. Tap on it and it SHOULD take you to the play store. After that search the desired launcher you want. (ADW Launcher, LauncherPro, Go Locker etc.

Factory Reset - Not very happy - No Market :-(

Hi - I have the stock rooted EE4 ROM, and I needed to do a factory reset this afternoon. Before the reset, I backed up all my apps with MyBackup Pro.
While it restored mostly OK, I seem to be stuck now.
A number of my apps show that they need to be updated.
However, my Market app is the old one (probably the one that was embedded in the ROM). Now, whenever I try to update (or, install) any of my apps, the download just seems to abort after a second, and none of my apps are getting updated/installed.
It doesn't matter if it is a new or old app - nothing gets downloaded. I do have 3G/4G data available, since I can browse OK, and the Market does show apps in its GUI.
How do I fix this?
Thanks ...

Go settings=>applications=>manage applications=>all applications=>market and clear data on the market. Also if you used the factory reset through settings=>privacy, you should never do this from a custom ROM. You should only use that option from a stock ROM.
Awesome, Landshark! That worked!
If I could "thank" you 5 times, I would!
Cheers!

[Q] Parts of MIUI are still on my phone after flashing a new rom

I had MIUI on my HTC Inspire 4g and decided to give RCmix3d a try. However, when the phone boots up it gives error messages saying that certain apps are not responding. They are all MIUI processes (camera, music, notes, etc.). I wouldn't mind if they worked but all they do is make it take a long time to turn the phone on.
I used root explorer and searched miui which returned quite a few leftover files but I can't get rid of them. When I try to delete them, it tells me that they are read only and cannot be deleted. I'm currently trying to reload everything, but why would those parts of miui be left on my phone in the first place?
There is a reason there are wipe data, wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache options in the recovery menu.
