Is there a way to do this with any ROM?
I am running one now that allows me to do this (AOKPBuild5). Its a really cool feature and Id like to be able to do this on any ROM I happen to install.
any help appreciated!

Hey all,
I've recently purchased an HTC Sensation, rooted it and tinkered with it.. It's currently running Android Revolution.
I was wondering if it was possible to create a second row of quick icons on the lockscreen, or if there's an app for that..
Thanks!
good point, I would also be interested.
I have been looking for this also. I would like to be able to add a full page of icons on the lock screen. I figured one of the ROM creators would have found a way to do this.
Anybody know of a way?
Thanks
so nobody know's of a way?
Hello,
I am a total noob to the android/root community. I have an AT&T GS3 (SGH-I747) and I just rooted it. I've been using the Jedi Invasion ROM installed on my phone and love it!!! Then recently I changed to the AOKP 4.1.2 ROM and was instantly impressed. I love it! The only issue I am having is with the wallpaper. I do not like the wide screen scroll left/right wallpaper. I would much rather a stationary wallpaper that does not move. I have searched high and low between forums to see if there was a way to change the wallpaper to a stationary one. I know there are apps like Wallpaper Wizardrii that can perform these actions, but I wanted to know if there was a way to do that without having to use an app. The way i see it the less apps I have to back up with Titan backup the better while I switch between ROMS like the noob I am . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Actually its perfectly fine.
Just load a up a launcher from the play store. heres one
(^And if that launcher doesn't work then you can find another one that supports your needs)
Then in the drawer at the top right (Button)you can organize a group and deselect apps that you don't want displayed.
Even in the settings you can put a password on it too and customize all the colors, transitions, gestures, and animations! (It's awesome! I even bought adw launcher ex too)
The beauty of android is that you can replace nearly anything straight out of the box and fully customize the OS to your liking.
I'm the type of person that loves customization, but only if it looks professional. I was wondering if custom lockers that are available from the play store are legitimate or are they just "apps". By that I mean, if I'm using a custom one, will there ever be a time where a lack of ram can cause it to bug out like not opening, are they going to show my homescreen for a second before running, ect? If so, what makes them different from the stock lock screen? Is the stock locker an app? Is there any way to make a lock screen part of the system? I am rooted and I'm using stock rom, mainly because my phone, ZTE N9810, has no development on it.
1) Is there a way to lock or freeze the lockscreen widgets / scrolling once set? *
2) Can I disable the side swiping/sliding to open the camera ONLY above the camera icon? In other words, I want to be able to access the lock screen camera but only by swiping from the bottom where the camera icon is, not anywhere above it.
*This is really difficult for me to search and find because "how to lock lock screen" and "how to freeze lock screen" obviously come up with something I am not looking for. I want to be able to enable widgets on my lock screen but disable the ability to add more once I set the one I want. I don't want to be able to scroll to the big plus, but I want a widget so I don't want to just disable the feature. How can I do this?
Custom ROMs.

I already realized this is most likely more of a possibility on a custom ROM, however, not only do I really enjoy my stock setup ATM, I don't feel like changing for two features (I will though).
That being said, there are tons of ROMs with tons of features. Do you know of any ROMs that have exactly what I am requesting (while still keeping the simple practical sleek look of stock)? I don't have the time to flash ROMs all day searching so I would greatly appreciate it if anyone who knows this information could share it with me.
And I do mean exactly. I don't want to flash a custom ROM just to get half the ability I'm requesting. Please let me know, thank you.
