Hey all,
I've recently purchased an HTC Sensation, rooted it and tinkered with it.. It's currently running Android Revolution.
I was wondering if it was possible to create a second row of quick icons on the lockscreen, or if there's an app for that..
Thanks!
good point, I would also be interested.
I have been looking for this also. I would like to be able to add a full page of icons on the lock screen. I figured one of the ROM creators would have found a way to do this.
Anybody know of a way?
Thanks
so nobody know's of a way?

Is there a way to do this with any ROM?
I am running one now that allows me to do this (AOKPBuild5). Its a really cool feature and Id like to be able to do this on any ROM I happen to install.
any help appreciated!
Hi all, I am a newbie to Android device here. Please don't flame me.
I have recently acquired both Nexus 4 and 10. Both great devices. However, I really don't need to scroll around 5 screens. I can't seem to find any settings that allows me to reduce the number of home screens. And according to the forum I read, the only thing I know is to install a what's called "launcher" to provide additional customization which allows me to change the screen. Since I am new to the Android scene, I rather stick to stock everything as much as I can and familiarize myself before I venture too far. So I was wondering if there is anything changed since 4.2.1?
Any insights would be much appreciated. Thanks!
This app will.
This is the only way to do it aside from manually de-compiling the .Apk and editing it, trust me, this is a lot easier and this launcher is just the stock version but with extra options.
Try Apex Launcher or ADW.Launcher both or good.
If you root your device there are roms that have this build in.
for instance my HTC Sensation with ViperS has Sense, and that can add more home pages..
There would be roms that have this feature built in

Doesn't stock launcher do it? Do a pinch in gesture, it will show overview of all screens. Long press on the one u want to remove, it will guide u through rest.
life!
Thanks. I tried the pinch on my N4 but didn't seem to work.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
Next launcher is best in the market... try it ... it is fully 3d and developed by go team...

I have a question. Do you know how to hide not used app in app drawer in Android 4.4 based roms? I think I went through all options and I couldn't find that.

Actually its perfectly fine.
Just load a up a launcher from the play store. heres one
(^And if that launcher doesn't work then you can find another one that supports your needs)
Then in the drawer at the top right (Button)you can organize a group and deselect apps that you don't want displayed.
Even in the settings you can put a password on it too and customize all the colors, transitions, gestures, and animations! (It's awesome! I even bought adw launcher ex too)
The beauty of android is that you can replace nearly anything straight out of the box and fully customize the OS to your liking.
Hey folks,
I apologize if I missed this in the forums somewhere, but anyone know if it's possible to put upcoming calendar events on the default lockscreen? I've had that on previous phones (usually with custom ROMs) and I'm wondering if anyone has seen a way to do that without being rooted or custom ROM. Verizon S6

I need this feature too
I have the same question, and I am in badly need for this feature.
Hello everyone,
I have a few questions about customizing my oneplus 7 pro.
I don't really like the lockscreen of OnePlus, I don't like the way it blures out the background when there is an notification. Also the clock doesn't look good to me. Is there an way to get another lockscreen? Like one from Samsung or other manufactures. Not talking about those lockscreen apps because they glitch, I already tried them. I have root access if that is needed.
I also don't like the quickpanel, I wish there was an way to get another one, I like the ones from Huawei and Samsung Experience 8.0. Or the one from OxygenOS 8.1.
I hope somehow can help me,
Kind regards,
Crewz
Anyone that could help me?
