Does anyone have an icon pack/dock img for the new GB update? I love the look of the stock dock, but I like being able to scroll through multiple docks (a feature that only Launcherpro affords me).
Please help!

I created this one yesterday. Its yours to use if you like.
This dock matches the Gingerblur color nicely.
Edit: The image didn't attach correctly. I'll reupload it when I get home.

Can you use other launchers on the Note 10.1 or does Samsung's interface prohibit that (don't have mine yet, just curious)?

Yes you can. I am using GoLauncher HD with no loss of functionality.

Thanks. Just found another thread about this in the Q&A section. Guess I will have to wait and see how I feel about the Samsung UI.

I actually thought Touchwiz was pretty good, my only real issue was with folders on the home screen. I organize my apps in folders instead of using multiple home screens. The problem was is that when I launched an app from one of the folders and then got out of the app the system thought I wanted to rename the folder, Got a little annoying.

I am a little confused when there is talk of launchers because some people talk about replacing Touchwiz with a launcher and I use a launcher called CircleLauncher Lite and still use Touchwiz. I use CircleLauncher Lite because it allows me to place icons on my desktop for different links like my Office icon and when I click on the Office icon a ring opens around the icon with icons linked to programs I use that are office related.
So what is the difference in the launcher I use and the launchers that replace Touchwiz?

circle launcher is just an app launcher, not home screen replacemet
i real launcher means a home screen replacement, they have different UI . u can try nova, apex, go, spd shell etc

Sounds like people should be calling the home screen launcher a desktop shell since it changes the user interface, function and look.

I second that. I like it because you can still use the stock one too, switch back and forth.
using NOVA Prime, so far seems good.
Using Apex Launcher Pro and it is butter smooth on my GT-N8000.
i second that

I love the idea of Chameleon to switch between a "home" and a "work" profiles, but the all-widget concept does not seduce me. I need icons
Chameleon Launcher
How is the chameleon interface and S-Pen interaction??
And, is it really that cool they "make believe" in commercials and app demos?

I use chameleon along with gesture shortcuts launcher whic lets you lsunch apps, web sites and even toggle switches by just drawing on your screen. Works very effcient for me. I draw a square to launch netflix, draw and eye to kaunch instagram etc...

Yup, sure did. I don't think it's worth 10 bucks as of now. But I'm hoping it will be.

I, on the other hand, love the all-widget concept. And the widget api seems really simple if you have some programming knowledge.

There isn't so much use for the S-Pen in chameleon as of now (and i don't think there is any support for it, but that's only a guess for now).
I wouldn't say that it is cool yet, but it reeks of potential.
I followed tsf since before release and it looks alot better now. Chameleon looks nice too. But i just feel launcher developers are charging too much. I mean 10 and 16 bucks ya right . Launchers should have free versions and a pro for like 5 bucks tops...
Currently im using tw launcher and own apex pro but havent felt the need to change yet

Looking for the Calendar Widget that show the entire month. It will take up the entire screen. Like the one from Beanstown Rom or SynergyRom.
Anyone have that particular apk I can download from?
Thanks

I've used all the above and keep reverting back to calengoo our business calendar. Calengoo is loaded with options whereas business calendar is more basic. Both are great choices

I know y i couldn't get that calender widget. I was running Nova Launcher, which doesn't have that widget. Its only in the Touchwiz launcher. So, i cant use it while running Nova. Unless someone know how to make it work. So now i have a choice. Keep nova or switch to touchwiz.
I was just wondering if there is a way to make the clock (on cm10) centered. If there is an existing mod already created I have overlooked it and I apologize!
Set desktop to 4 rows.
You can also do settings, launcher, set resize widgets. This allows you to stretch the widget to center it.

Look for the next level cm10 theme. It has that mod integrated into it and is a really nice theme
Clock in statusbar? Yes its in the t-mobile themes and apps section

The title says it all really, I'm using unicon for custom icons but putting them in folders just looks ugly.
If there is already a mod/app that can do this I'd appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction.
Thanks

decompile it...
search for folders drawables and make them trasparents..
search for apktool to decompile/recompile (it's easy to use) ..there's a plenty of guides on xda
e.g.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50181967&postcount=57
Or you can use KK launcher it's as close to stock as it get but with more features. And transparent folder backgrounds is one of them.
