Is there any way to get the CWM recovery in Sony Xperia Miro?
I have the Xperia Miro as root with ICS, but I need to have CWM recovery to make some experiments, including putting the Bravia engime working.
I've tried with X-parts, but without success.
How to achieve?

I have found the rom manager on market, but it doesnt list the xperia arc as supported... Is that ok?

im sorry. i dont understand. im kinda new to flashing.
i checked the guide out, and i could not find how to install clockworkmod recovery. when i installed rom manager, from the android market. it will install the clockworkmod recovery, but xperia arc is not in the supported list.
is that ok?

I've tried install the cyanogen and the clockwork...
I've done everything as in the post but when i reboot the screen stays black (even if it powers up because is illuminated) and does not boot... anyone knows how to make it boot into clockwork? otherwise i'm re-flashing the 2.3.4 rom!

Could you write me step by step how to install Clockworkmod Recovery for my Xperia Arc, Its rooted , unlocked bootloader.. I downloaded the rom manager (from market) but i cant install the Clockworkmod .. PLS HELP!!
My advice wait a while for a support from rom manager, it's pretty safe

Well, my question is so simple... how can I go back to ICS without using flashtool?
Can I just flash vengeance kernel and flash for example Gimlo or ZNXT rom?

New Question: Phone doesn't boot with Vengeance: I tried to flash vengeance and install Znxt v6, CWM/TWRP couldn't flash it and I read that issue on other thread so I flashed stock kernel and flashed it and it works fine, then I flashed Vengeance again (tried with v1.40, v1.43, v1.45) and on first boot while bootanimation it flashes white splash screens and then reboots and I get bootloop (stuck on Sony Logo). I came back to CM10 until someone can give me some advice.

Don't you have to use flashtool to flash a kernel?

Vengeance isn't compatible with znxt rom.
The items that are not compatible are the updated adreno libs. Download the zip from this thread and delete the files the downloaded zip stores in the znxt zip.

Remove CWM recovery from the znxt zip (recovery.tar) since Vengeance already has dual recovery.
Those are the compatibility issues I know about, try what i said if you really want znxt rom on your device.
How to use this kernal and which rom is compatible on,this kernel...plz guide me bros......

A while ago I installed Vengeance kernel 1.40 on my Xperia J to avail of the 1.3ghz OC feature. I am running stock firmware (.31) When I first installed Vengeance I had no problem booting into recovery, but for some reason, I can't anymore. Any help would be appreciated!

Dear experts,
my device is Sony xperia S LT26I with JB 4.0_Build_6.1.A.2.45 and I look to upgrade to kitkat 4.4.x
I tried more than 50 ways from xda and other forum with no luck
Bootloader is running and works with CWM and TWRP
Upon boot I tried CWM 6.0.3 -> select zip from sdCard
all zip images I tried with CWM got an error: …flash image aborted!!
flashing with TWRP work nice first and appears messages that all are done: wipe cash, data … and at the end says: flashing done successfully … reboot your device!!!? after reboot device doesn’t start and still in flash mode … so I have to back to sony flashtool and reflash the ftf for 4.0_6.1.A.2.45 and try another way again

I've installed the sirius 4.4.2 rom & later the cwm asks for restarting. From that time my xperia ion is not restarting but it's going in fastboot and flash too.. pls help

try re-flashing the rom, if that doesnt fix it, or you cant do that, re-flash the stock firmware.
