Lol mod delete this.
I'll admit the op had some rage in it. Although people are wondering why they killed a team and then haven't released. Maybe I was wrong, but I know a lot of people were thinking the same ****. Anyways, give us a reason you have yet to release the exploit or why not.share with other.devs to get this done in a reasonable amount of time.
lmao! Why such an anger? But I understand you...

lol frustrated kid???, thats why you arent a developer.
I think i believe that you can't develop your own shait when you are pooping.
Learn to write some code, and when you are done with that, send us a link to the great S-off tool that you have made
ill wait

And to think I thought this was an announcement of the device being officially rooted. I hate you..

Team Freedom, please continue your work. Obviously, alpharevx team enjoys not releasing. It's seems to me alpharevx.team is waiting to have HTC release the OTA unlocked bootloader. So they can claim they unlocked the bootloader HTC released lol. Anyways, keep acting like dicks and not releasing the s-0ff being pompus. So S-0ff or F-0FF. You are a dying breed with new policies on unlocked bootloaders.

Your post shows you have no clue of what they are doing. They are doing something potentially dangerous, and they want it done right before releasing.

Now your talking trash
Usually, I find experienced users who refuse to cut people slack the most annoying. This is beyond annoying, though.
You're demanding to see someone else's work before they think it's ready. Work that they're doing for the community. Work that you put nothing into.
They'll put it out when they want to. Or, they can decide to never put it out. It's not for me to judge. I'm grateful that talented devs have taken an interest in my phone.
I've stayed away from most of the impatient conversations so far but what you're saying is ridiculous.

I gave it a THANKS for the play on forum labeling procedures and for his outrage at why Alpharev has taken so long. I don't actually remember ever reading any reason from Alpharev specifically saying why they haven't released S-OFF yet if they indeed do have an exploit.
I HAVE seen a lot of reasonable people,, reasonably assuming that the exploit must not be stable enough to release. Seems a bit weird that AlphaRev doesn't want to play nice with other teams to get this thing done faster.
I think the thread is out of place and probably should be locked soon enough but thanks OP for saying things that many of us have been thinking.

Honestly.
If you cannot root your phone your self. You shouldn't have a rooted phone.
you need to learn the basics in case something goes south on your device.
and 4-6 is a laughable joke. Thanks for the 30 mins i spent doing something you are to lazy to do, and cannot even get a six pack out of it.

Take a look in my signature. I have a "newcomers" thread. IT has a link to TrueBlue_Drew's ADB guide. Take a peak in there. It has a really simple walk though on how to get it up and running.
Everyone has to start somewhere. All of us was clueless when it came to ADB at one point.

Hello,
Today I'm going to try test two of the bootloader unlock.
I'm not responsible if this hard-bricks your device, no don't blame me.
OK, so pm me please if you want to try it.
Only ONE person with 50+ posts or 10+ thanks may try it.
So post here first so that we can tell who will test it.
Good Luck,

I would like to discuss the possibility of having my phone rooted using remote PC access (like goto my PC, I have these tools). I'd insist on compensation the right person for their time spent with a successful result,

Hi,
Look HERE
Thanks for the post. It looks like this link is for those that are willing to root their phone themselves. I'm hoping to rely on someone else's hands remotely and just use my hands for the steps that can't be done remotely

U can ask here what steps you don't understand and we will help you, I think you better do it by yourself so you can understand the process and make less mistakes afterwards... plus in any case you would like to revert it you would know what to do...
Sent from my HTC Sensation using xda app-developers app
if youre going to rely on someone else to root your phone, just know that you will also have to rely on that same person/someone else if your phone ever starts to have problems or acts funny. its best to do the job yourself and take your time to READ EVERYTHING. it all may seem like useless information at first, but in the end itll save your butt. and you wont have to rely on someone else or start pointing fingers if something bad happens, only yourself
Quite a funny thread.
I think you're best of getting an iphone.

For the record don't assume this request comes from laziness. My success in life has been in part because I put no ego into knowing what I do well and what I do not and knowing where that line is. Also knowing when I should fix something in my home and when, for me, looking for a contractor would lead to a better result.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using xda premium
sounds like you don't need root anyway
The results I'm looking for are. To remove bloatware, move apps to the sd card that normally can't be moved, be rooted so I can use titanium to fully back up my phone.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using xda premium
Its not that difficult just try is scary at first but the stuff here on xda an the support you get are endless an they are rite its better you do this yourself so you know where you stand plus you will need adb setup on your computer before you even start you'll find that when you go to unlock the bootloader.I used the all in one tool box to get root an recovery look it up if it doesn't work then it just doesn't work there's very little risk in harming your device its really not that hard give it try
Sent from my HTC Sensation using xda premium
Rooting your phone is kind of like building your own computer, it's a good thing to do if you're willing to learn. Most of the process is learning how your phone works, and if you don't know how to root it, how are you going to fix it when something goes wrong. Listen to everyone's advice.
First off thanks you to all those that have taken their time so far to share their thoughts and advise. I'm getting the picture that what I'm looking for isn't how it works. I was hoping rooting could be approached like car ownership. Some owners like to fiddle under the hood, learn all the things that can be done. Others just are users, they only want to learn what is needed to operate the car as designed. The third type are those that are willing to open the hood but tinker with just those things that are simple, safe, and reversible. More then users, less then mechanics. I was hoping this last category was possible for my objectives in regards to rooting but it appears not from the postings so far.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using xda premium
Problem is that if you run into an issue a few months from now that stemmed from flashing something, chances are that person that helped may have moved on to another phone and you could be in the same boat trying to get someone to help, but it can be more severe and time urgent than it is now. I think the stickies in the general and dev forums r really good at educating and easy to follow.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using Tapatalk 2
Based on your requirements.. It seems you don't want to get your phone data lost. I'm mentioning this because the easiest process causes factory reset of the phone thus you will lose all app data and phone data. (but you want root to backup data right?)
If you don't want to lose the data but to achieve what you wanted.. The method will be kinda hard.. That is SOFF without htc-Dev... Guide Link is in my signature... The hardest part of this process is wire trick.. Which can't be done remotely.. Has to be done by you only.. Rest of the setup is breeze... So if you want I can help you through initial setup but as I said the wire trick has to be done by you.. Also the process takes repetition tries which might take up hours too
Sent from my HTC Sensation using xda premium
It took me literally minutes to s-off my sensation and to install a custom rom. OP just read the stickies and you'll be fine. Just remember when doing the wire trick;
Put wire in and say quickly "one two"
Quickly remove wire and quickly put it back in and quickly say "two two hundred" and you'll be s-off in seconds

So, with all the troubles the HTCdev site is having, im left without root. I was just curious as to what sort of nifty things you guys would use an unrooted phone for? Sideloading is nice... but im half tempted to continue playing with my cracked Inspire until i can root.
You don't have to use HTC Dev unlock to unlock your phone if your a smart programmer you could use an exploit and root it that way ADB is great for higher access to the OS you could combine an ADB Shell with a Android API call repeater (.apk that allows you to make API calls) however that would be complicated...
