Yeah. I didn't download the .cn version...I downloaded and flashed the MIUIandroid version recommended by the_maker. Better translations and optimized by iBot. Rock stable build. Best ICS build I ever ran. I'm still running MixMiui v3 since it has Google Now. I just wish I could successfully add it to the 2.10.12 iBot build. The ARMv6 version won’t work fully but you will still get a lot of the features. From what I can tell, the ARMv7 version is quite complete.
Also worth noting, I ran into trouble on some ROMs that weren’t AOKP. Trying to install Google Now on HTC Sense 4.0 and MIUI ICS seemed successful at first. On MIUI, I was even allowed to use the Voice Search without issue. However, when I tried to enable Google Now, I found myself in a world of force closes that ultimately led back to AOSP.

By the way MIUIAndroid was my default ROM for last year, but with V4.0.4 I encounter a lot of bugs that make me mad, that why I switch to official MIUI.

I was under thee assumption that there wasn't an official miui v4 for DHD. That is unless you're talking about GB. The MixMiui v3 I'm on is based the 2.9.15 MIUI.cn v4 Sense 3.6 mix. Google Now is working perfect on that rom. I don't understand how I can't install it on this 2.10.12 build.

I found this ROM is fully function, specially after I remove MIUIHome, and replace it with GO Launcher and add RAM optimizer script and disabling some autorun receivers.
but what I realy miss is sd-ext, whatever I try, it's not working.

Really good! Very smooth and have had no problems. Battery is very good as well.
One issue I've noticed is that the calendar widget is showing "No upcoming calendar events" but when I open the calendar app I can see all of my events properly.

i will be fixing all issues in next version. and in next version all icons will be cyanogenmod replicas. the core apps will stay the same tho its bassicly me just changing the icon but i have to decompile and re compile so it takes time. i have also got 4 other projects im working on so pleqase be very patient

Quadrant scores do not accurately reflect performance. Use your phone, if it performs well then be happy. Stop worrying about arbitrary benchmarks.
MIUI is an awesome, awesome ROM. Try it out.
What's the best way to backup before switching to this ROM? I'd rather not have to restore all my settings/accounts/apps/etc.

You can use Titanium to backup your apps, and some things like accounts (WiFi access points, paired Bluetooth devices).
You don't want to keep all data when moving to a new ROM, with the exception of updates of a certain ROM. Especially if you are moving from a Sense ROM to an AOSP based one (like MIUI), you will likely experience numerous bugs if you try to keep system data.
Out of personal preference, I do prefer the rom with highest quad score. I'm not saying any other rom is better, I simply asked for the test. Kinda sad to get all snappy over it though, I mean really. I'm not much of a fan of MIUI, I just like tracking the improvements over time over ALL the roms in terms of benchmark scores.

Not that he's purposely getting snappy but it's pretty well known that benchmark scores can be tampered with and regardless don't reflect real world performance very well. I think that's the point he was trying to make so that you don't make the mistake of skipping over a really good rom over a benchscore.
Great to have MIUI available now, things moving along great in development community again so thanks to all involved.

Can anyone confirm whether or not call audio works over bluetooth earpiece? I couldn't get that working on cm9 and that's pretty much a deal breaker for my use unfortunately urrrrrr.

WEP doesn't work with CM9 or AOKP right now, I'd assume the same for this rom. Tis a known issue.

You must wipe before flashing this or flash after a fresh install. Other wise you will have constant phone crashes.
Attached is the AT&T framework mod to add the AT&T Version of 4G Icons. You will loose the ability to toggle the radio mode.

IMHO, smoother but lacks the mods. Basic in the fact that its basic Sense 4 with no mods.
First time I ever got LTE Toggle to work properly too!
Once I get mods rebuilt for this base I will update the CleanROM Standard to this base.
For now, its just a cleaned up tweaked ROM with no additional mods.

Its set up for AT&T but can be used on any GSM carrier.

go to bottom of the page and hit desktop site.
Then click on downloads.
It may be just best to download in on PC because my site is not mobile friendly. Pretty ironic, huh?

On Tapatalk they cannot see the download link. Its a shortcoming of Tapatalk.

No, thats de-odex. The Stock Rooted Deodex ROM I posted does seem to work with the unfinished CoreDroid port I have.

All right after some testing this is the new way we're gonna install this. I'm not sure why doing it in one zip creates problems but this method is smooth and very stable. I will update the Chongo version when I make it a one flash install.

I was using 1.0 but now 1.1
Voice search is now working on the google now app, I used to have to use it directly from the widget

Does it seem slower to you then 1.0? I need to work out a few bugs by flashing this clean.. and I got no time till later. Glad it works, I've really been enjoying its integration with maps.

I installed as normally on CleanRom 2.5 SE which is an odexed rom and it's working pretty good.

The voice dialer that is part of the google now package forece closes with the message google text.to speech has stopped. This is activated from my Bluetooth headset. I'll post a logcat tomorrow.
I keep getting "can't opt location or can't opt latitude" or something like that.

Which ROM are you running it on? Did you wipe before you flashed? I don't have a Bluetooth headset to test so I don't know how much I'll be able to fix.. but can you voice dial and then connect with Bluetooth? Voice dialing seems to work for me

I don't think that's it cuz i'm logged in.
Have you noticed that when you swipe away a card that it won't come back unless you go into settings and turn off Google Now then turn it back on?

CleanRom 4.5, and full wipe prior to flashing. It's actually "working" now. It fails on the first initialization on boot, then works on subsequent tries. I have a log cat from the first run if you are interested.

Not in the modifications but it does show on the card. I'll be working on this today, but unfortunately we might have to move a two part zip. I'll see what I can do.

If you search for a location in maps, it'll use that in a card. I googled boot camp and it gave me a card for it. I found opening Google Now from the voice icon ( search for something then clear it) works fine as well. I'll try and fix that as well.

The S2.6 Download link in your OP is all in Chinese. I can't figure out to even download it. Please host it in some way where English speakers can download the ROM.

sun_dream has had 2 previous releases from the 1.29 base - this is version A03 and looks like it's from a different carrier to the other 2.
slow to download so can't comment yet on the rom itself.
this guy does some good stuff, so probably worth a try.
download server is soooo slowww... 42 hours to go... any mirror maybe?

You might be best using twrp 2.3.3.x...2.5.x is known to have issues with OneXL. May not fix your issue but will help in the future

I've finally got it downloaded - about to flash.
I think the wifi tether thing is more of a workaround than a fix, but I'll let you know.

so I got it to boot. also got it onto English which helped a lot
wifi tether is just an apk that is in addition to the 'stock' tether. It works fine, but would most likely work in any rom.
I'll have a play with the rom and report back further, but it's complete stock (plus a few added apks in system/app). stock kernel, no APM etc.

hmmm, has periods of really laggy performance, especially at start up and when downloading from Play Store. Tried flars kernel but didn't make any noticeable difference. When it's not laggy it is smooth and quick, but laggy too often for me to use as a daily. most likely something minor causing the problem that hopefully sun_dream can sort out quickly.
