Quadrant scores do not accurately reflect performance. Use your phone, if it performs well then be happy. Stop worrying about arbitrary benchmarks.
MIUI is an awesome, awesome ROM. Try it out.

What's the best way to backup before switching to this ROM? I'd rather not have to restore all my settings/accounts/apps/etc.

You can use Titanium to backup your apps, and some things like accounts (WiFi access points, paired Bluetooth devices).
You don't want to keep all data when moving to a new ROM, with the exception of updates of a certain ROM. Especially if you are moving from a Sense ROM to an AOSP based one (like MIUI), you will likely experience numerous bugs if you try to keep system data.

Out of personal preference, I do prefer the rom with highest quad score. I'm not saying any other rom is better, I simply asked for the test. Kinda sad to get all snappy over it though, I mean really. I'm not much of a fan of MIUI, I just like tracking the improvements over time over ALL the roms in terms of benchmark scores.

Not that he's purposely getting snappy but it's pretty well known that benchmark scores can be tampered with and regardless don't reflect real world performance very well. I think that's the point he was trying to make so that you don't make the mistake of skipping over a really good rom over a benchscore.
Great to have MIUI available now, things moving along great in development community again so thanks to all involved.

Can anyone confirm whether or not call audio works over bluetooth earpiece? I couldn't get that working on cm9 and that's pretty much a deal breaker for my use unfortunately urrrrrr.

WEP doesn't work with CM9 or AOKP right now, I'd assume the same for this rom. Tis a known issue.

Screens coming in about an hour, along with a new link. Sorry guys, it was a late night.

ROM is smooth.
I used the virtuous inquisition service pack by socali to add volume wake and quad unlock screen and it's working without a problem also.
Wallpaper was fixed on reboot. But I had seen this issue on another rom too so it's no big deal.
Enjoying the rom so far.
I would post screens but it looks just like stock aosp.. We all know what it looks like

Bugs that i have found:
when you switch from apps to downloaded apps or widgets in the app drawer the apps disappear until you re-open the app drawer...
other than that... pretty sweet...

This build is the official MIUI.us release. I've built this ROM from the ground up using my Nexus One build as a base.
This includes MIUI.us translations in the apks as well as some minor modifications I have made to the launcher which allows you to customize the grid size and remove the icon text.
Consider this another choice for custom ROM users. After all, android is all about customization and choices.

The biggest difference is in the translations. MIUI.us uses US english while miuiandroid uses british english.
Then there are going to be differences in the way the ROM is ported. I take a minimalist approach and make sure not to include crap that is for other devices as that tends to cause more issues in the long run.
Oh and I also use a different kernel in this build. I tend to prefer Tiamat kernels as I know they are thoroughly tested and work quite well.

Even though to a T, Mason v0.14 No HWA No FSO is now getting solid reports of ebing better?? I know it's based on Tiamat, but having used both, Mason is def the way to go.

I think it might have hwa because i tried flashing Mason G and it didn't show the boot animation and never booted up. I haven't tried flashing Mason I tho...

Yeah. I didn't download the .cn version...I downloaded and flashed the MIUIandroid version recommended by the_maker. Better translations and optimized by iBot. Rock stable build. Best ICS build I ever ran. I'm still running MixMiui v3 since it has Google Now. I just wish I could successfully add it to the 2.10.12 iBot build. The ARMv6 version won’t work fully but you will still get a lot of the features. From what I can tell, the ARMv7 version is quite complete.
Also worth noting, I ran into trouble on some ROMs that weren’t AOKP. Trying to install Google Now on HTC Sense 4.0 and MIUI ICS seemed successful at first. On MIUI, I was even allowed to use the Voice Search without issue. However, when I tried to enable Google Now, I found myself in a world of force closes that ultimately led back to AOSP.

By the way MIUIAndroid was my default ROM for last year, but with V4.0.4 I encounter a lot of bugs that make me mad, that why I switch to official MIUI.

I was under thee assumption that there wasn't an official miui v4 for DHD. That is unless you're talking about GB. The MixMiui v3 I'm on is based the 2.9.15 MIUI.cn v4 Sense 3.6 mix. Google Now is working perfect on that rom. I don't understand how I can't install it on this 2.10.12 build.

I found this ROM is fully function, specially after I remove MIUIHome, and replace it with GO Launcher and add RAM optimizer script and disabling some autorun receivers.
but what I realy miss is sd-ext, whatever I try, it's not working.

First this ROM is a TEAM work. It's made by AlexForTomorrow, Daxxmax and me. And we are the BAD Team
Why have we done this ? Simple. We were discussing about all the kang ROM and we thought "well, why not trying to do our own? but doing the best we can for providing a usefull one."
So we tweaked it at our own needs and likes
You can think "it's just another kang". Yes, that's true. We do it because we really enjoy doing it. And since it's done, why not sharing right?

Its not required but IMHO supersu is better with ics than super user.

Not really since both su apps place their binary in the same place (system/bin/su) and the apk names are both superuser.apk it should replace su all together with no harm

the error im referring to is if you have regular su and select rom control>startup tweaks you will get a loop of superuser requests requiring a reboot

I love AOKP I am happy to see this. I can confirm that it works with the kernels from the scverhagen's CM9.1. So far it seems to run the hotplugging govenors better and is setting the CPUs correctly from ROM Control. I will charge and monitor.

Very Slick
I am experiencing an issue with GAPPS. I can download from the Google Play App on my phone, but I can't navigate to google play on my desktop computer and push applications down like I am used to.
WiFi Calling installed like a charm though, and everything seems to be working as expected. Looking forward to a couple of days with it!

How do I install King Kang?
Download the ROM from the box below
Download the Google gapps from the box below
Reboot into your recovery (TWRP is recommended)
Wipe data if you are coming from a ROM besides King Kang
Flash the King Kang ROM zip
Flash the Google Apps zip
Format your dalvik cache/normal cache
Reboot
Customize your experience to your heart's content!

Information
Some AOKP features power over the ParanoidAndroid ones. For example, in order to get Tablet UI, you first need to check the "Tablet UI" option in ROM Control, then change it to the desired mode in Paranoid Android, and then reboot.
This ROM began as a creation by DAGr8 for Android 4.0, ICS. It offered a simple AOKP + PA combination.
The ROM is currently being built 100% from source. The "team", a.k.a. people maintaining and adding features from other ROMs is currently myself and DAGr8. Without the other teams though, this ROM would be nothing.

This looks awesome, I will be using this, I love all of AOKPs features and now with PA's per-app DPI built in also and some great stuff from CM. I just wish I could use your kernel, will there be an update to that soon? I am on of the people that is experiencing constant reboots after flashing Build 3 of your kernel Build 2 worked though. Build 2 is very out dated though.

It includes the stock kernel, and I have not yet tested it with my kernel (though I think it is safe to assume it should work fine)

CWM has been known to randomly wipe our devices /sdcard partition. If you haven't had any issues with it though and you want to keep using it, thats fine. Just be aware that it may happen.

Should be one soon, as soon as I fix that bug for some of you. I may have to revert to stock voltage values since I believe that the undervolting is the cause behind it.
