So i did it! My at&t HOX got shattered screen last night :crying:
Even though my screen's cracked, touch response of the phone is completely good!
Can anyone please suggest me,
1.whether it is possible to replace only digitizer or do i need to replace the whole set(LCD+Digitizer)?
2.As International HTC One XL and AT&T HOX have same hardware pieces,Is it good to replace my HOX screen with International HTC One XL? or do I need to replace with at&t screen's only?
3.If so,can anyone please give me the links to buy OEM LCD+Digitizer?
Thanks in advance.

I've heard its hard to replace by yourself IMO sending to HTC would be my choice but if you want to go be adventerous our one xl is .4 mm taller than intl one x but idk about the other one xl... There's another thread about this somewhere
BUMP TO TOP: Can anyone please give me the links to buy original at&t htc one x lcd+digitizer?

Bump can use search to find the links

Other threads on this topic mention that the screen on the international One X is different in size by millimeters from ours, and results in an incorrect fit (gap near the capacitive buttons).
Also, if I recall properly the screen and digitizers are glued together, and therefore nearly impossible (or at least a real b1tch) to separate.
Bump: for a great guy who gives me an external link to buy att hox screen(original)
they are all over ebay but no one knows if they are original or fake..

I apologize if there have been threads like this in the past, search is currently down.
I, wondering if the three sensation models' (Sensation, TMO 4G, and XE) are all interchangeable. I'm going to be getting a cracked screen t-mobile sensation tomorrow (if all goes well) and I definitely want the replacement digitizer to be unbranded, or maybe an XE one just to throw in some special flair.
Will that work? I would think so as they're all three the same phone just branded differently, but I just need to be absolute sure before I shell out the cash for a replacement.
Thanks guys!
I've stayed on the Sensation spot if the XDA-Developers forum for quite a while now. I've seen people with Tmo digitizers getting replaced with unbranded ones. Not sure if anybody has done it with the XE digitizers.
You should go take a look at that thread named "Broken digitizer? look here" because it's not a branding issue if I recall correctly but there are specific digitizer models and people had trouble when they happened to get a replacement part but wasn't the same number as that of the broken digitizer.
Good luck :good:
My XE would not work properly with a standard sensation digitizer.

Alright, so I should just go with the standard unbranded?
I don't really like the red keys anyway so that works for me

I wish I had seen the above thread before ordering an unbranded digitizer. I have a Tmo US 4g and I just replaced my digitizer over the weekend with an unbranded one and it's horrible. The phone is barely usable. I have a branded "OEM" one on the way now. Hopefully I have better results with it.
Hello every one,
Few days back I got my phone's display broken and I went HTC to repair my screen. Unfortunately (in India) they don't have att hox display and they said sorry with the inconvenience (and they said its not possible even to import the display too). Now i'm end with my broken HOX,but i don't want really to be end like this (As i haven't found any OEMs on eBay too)
They replaced International One x's display to my at&T HOX just for testing (of course,it was lil small),well it was working fine!,So my question is,
Is it possible to change complete housing of my at&t HOX to International HOX and the display too? whether the camera and buttons adjust perfectly for that?
Thanks a million for the helping hand.
Lol.... Uh no. The at&T is slightly bigger and I just Don't see how it will work out. Ur saying putting like the whole international one x phone housing on the at&t version?...

you can get the XL Screens from China on ebay and other websites. it dont have to say AT&T lol. Any XL screen will work.
Hi,
Having dismantled my HTC One X in order to replace a broken screen I discovered a broken connector. Does anyone know what it does and how it may be repaired? I've attached a couple of images showing the broken connector. It looks like it and the one next to it both connect to a single gold pad on the back plate when the phone is assembled.
Note: This is a European version. Looks slightly different to the AT&T version
Many Thanks
Roy

This is the HTC One X
Ok, well this is the forum for the One XL. You'd be better off asking in the forum for your device, while they seem very similar they are actually different devices.

Ok, so I have an HTC One X and it is the white AT&T LTE version. I have CM11 installed on it now and in the phone info section of settings it lists the phone as a One X, but when I had IMAGIOrom installed it listed the phone as the One XL. The model number on the back is PJ83100. I am getting ready to order a new screen/digitizer to replace my scratched and cracked one. There are several ones on ebay that are AT&T branded and the description says they are for the S720E and from what I read elsewhere that the S720E is the device that carries the Endeavor codename and the X325A is the Evita, which is what I have. I just want to make sure that if I order one that has the AT&T logo on it, that it will work. From what I can tell the size differences between the Endeavor and the Evita are very minimal, but enough to make a difference on whether the glass will fit. Any clarification or other suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

There is info on this in the forums. Here is a little info on that:

Hello all,
I'm new to this forum, so I hope I'm posting this at the right place.
I have a problem with my HOX, like many others (for as far as I've read) I got a problem with a blackscreen/weird resolution etc.
When i plug my phone onto my charger/PC it somehow works without the slightest problem.
Now I'm no hardware expert on this but I guess there something wrong with either the motherboard or the battery, maybe just a simple connection between the both.
I've contacted HTC and they turned down my request because there is a crack in my screen, making the warranty invalid. So I can't send it for repair (I can, for about 300+ euros....). I'm considering to disassemble the whole device and replacing some parts.
Anyway, I was wondering if any of you guys have any experience with this problem OR if you got any tips on testing hardware for artifacts/replacing motherboard in a HOX??
Kind regards,
Stijn
Firstly, do you have the HTC One X (Endeavoru) or the HTC One XL / at&t One X (Evita)? You're currently in the Evita forum so if you have the Endeavoru you need to ask in the HTC One X forum.
