Which one do you guys prefer. Right now, I'm on Eugene's AOKP ics 4.0.4 rom. I find that it doesn't lag after a while, like most Jellybean Roms. Which one do you guys use?
Cm10 10/14 build jellybean. Pretty awesome, better than ics in every aspect except for I can't use camera at all at the moment but ehh its better than having only a partially working phone.

Can't stand the graphical glitches.
I'm running cm9 nightly. Haven't checked out jelly bean yet. There's a cm10 available for my phone, but it's not working all that great yet from what I can see.
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Exhibit 4G running Cyanogen Mod 9.
Switched to CM10 10/15 nightly. OMFG, I'm never flashing any other ROM's. The best jelly bean rom by far.
Jellybean is the latest so go with them...

Using M1UI 2.10.12.v2 CM10/JB ROM, everything running smoothly and I'm in love with it. Used to have some problems with the earlier JB ROMs though. As for JB compared to ICS, deffo JB, not that different, but some nice improvements here and there (it's the small things that count ).
i want jelly bean because its more dynamic

Will it be as hard as porting ICS to port Jelly Bean 4.1 to our device?
Or is it impossible?
MOD Edit...
All 4.1 Jelly Bean should go right here.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28092822#post28092822

I think that once ICS is working properly, porting 4.1 won't be as much of a job as it was to make ICS work. Don't expect it to be available soon, though.
Yes I would be happy to have fully functional Ics
Sent from my GT-I9001 using xda app-developers app
jelly beans has almost same drivers and structure as ics.
once we have functional ics . then the new jb will not be hard as much as ics. that is why it is version 4.1 not 5.0. it means that the jb has minor updates not completely new.

Have you seen the new Google Now? Its even better than Siri!
Can somebody check changes in HAL? Maybe we can run hardware on JB that is not running on ICS like camera . Important is also kernel, question is can we run JB on 2.x kernel.

Google is moving towords personalization and productivity applications. Most development is carried on those sectors.
but if look to android structure, there is no big changes.

Trying not to beat a dead horse here.... currently running a stable cm7 from last year with launcher ex instead of adw.(rooted) What kind of updates are in the newest cm7 release? Is it worth a flash? The new at&t update, how is that compared to say a custom rom? Looking for a stable, snappy, (with some eye candy) phone. And if I wanted the att update what would I do? Go back to stock?

Flash and see for yourself, as for the at&t update use gizmoe's or flapjaxxx's rooted version in the dev section

I tried Android Revolution HD 6.3.3, which is exactly the same as AT&T's update, plus overclocked @ 1.5GHz. Battery life is good, better than unrooted, though. I recommend it

Cool. I may change it up a bit. I hate re-flashing so I haven't tried much. But lately either cm7 or the launcher ex has been dog slow. Been waiting to see if they bring cm9 to the inspire.
Sent from my Desire HD using xda app-developers app
Man, I sure hope they do. I didn't like CM7, though, because stock Gingerbread is too plain. ICS doesn't need another skin over it.
Sent from my Desire HD using xda app-developers app
Well, I flashed latest nightly of cm7. Now I really can't wait for a stable 9. I was hoping for a little improvement in update but haven't seen it. Went back to adw cause launcher ex is soooo slow. Cool though. Anyone seen an unofficial cm9 with the bugs worked out?
Sent from my inspire using xda app-developers app
Try installing Jellytime ROM. Its Android 4.1 jellybean. Its actually an unofficial CM10 build.
Sent from my Inspire 4G using xda app-developers app
Thought about that. Jb I heard was a little buggy. Same as cm9. That's why I like waiting for an official unless the bugs in the above mentioned are minuscule. Plus do u have to flash anything extra like a kernal? I'm better than noob but far from expert. I like small risks.

Available now!

Nice considering it wasn't supposed to be out until 2013.
Don't get why it is called SmartGlass, since you know, it isn't glass.
This sounds nice.
Edit: doesn't work for me. Same thing happened with the last live app Microsoft put out. Worked, then stopped. May be a jellybean issue?
Edit2: worked fine on my girlfriends stock ICS. Gotta be a jb thing.

I had it installed on CM10, but trying to use it (after logging in and my Xbox registering it as connected) resulted in a soft reboot.
Works great for me on Slim Bean 2.8.0 (Jellybean) w/ KKO Kernel. All the features work for me so far. Worked right out of the box when I signed in.

Ive been using the recent PAC Man Rom posted by klin1344 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2014008
I also flashed klin1344's AOSP kernel at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1837630
I have TWRP custom recovery.
This seems to me to be very stable. It has the best of AOKP and also Paranoid Android features too.
There are some minor issues with Google Maps and Navigator, but I think all AOSP and CM10 based ROMS are at the same level with some of these issues.

I am using Klins Baked Blackbean, which is a great ROM I think. Running smooth, no big bugs, great battery and a very nice look
What's the most stable ice cream sandwhich rom for g2x?
Skip ICS and get pa jelly bean from tonyp . Eagles blood 4.0.4 is most stable ICS if you're still interested

i recommend GB roms mainly, You can try out the ics/jb roms but it won't last long.
sigh...just search a little and you will find your answer...

Agreed. I've been on tonyp's PA since he put it out and I was on the hackfest before that. Nothing has ever been so bad that I felt the need to return to GB.
