Hi everyone,
I have just bought an used HTC Radar 4g. It worked normally until I tried to flash the ship rom from Tmobile using RUU, it got an error and cancelled at 5%. Since then, the phone stuck at the bootloader screen and I even cannot enter the usb host mode by holding camera + volume down + power.
I tried to flash another ship rom from vodafone or europe with RUU but it got error too. Factory reset couldn't help also.
I already prepared goldcard usb and Y cable for goldcard method, but I cannot enter the usb mode to do it.
Here's some information in the bootloader screen:
PI06110
SPL-1.8.160015.3(131745)
eMMC SAMSUNG 7376MB
TOUCH A1(F:80, ID:10, V20, B:AA)
Radio-16.23.02.09_2
i have the same problem with my Mozart, and if somebody knows how to fix this I would apretiate it
I am in the same boat! The phone before had PI06110 SPL-2.4 160015.3 (136036) Radio - 16.23.05.13._2.
Any idea? I heard to do a gold card but what file do I use? I got the gold card files and cables. I just need to know which one to use and flash.
thanks

As I have read through the threads in this forum, I am not the only one with this problem, but for some reason none of the solutions make sense to me.
Earlier today, I was trying to use the "Prophet AKU2.3 pdamobiz customized rom released [G3 Only]" to downgrade and didn't notice that my XDA NEO is 4G (the tool is for 3G only). Now after each boot the screen is stuck with the Boot Page showing:
IPL 2.15.0001
SPL 2.15.0001
GSM 02.19.21
OS 1.0.13.21
I am so pissed at myself and so frustrated.
I have tried hard-resetting and the problem still persists. I am able to get into the Bootloader by holding the camera button and pushing soft-reset. I am just not sure where to go from here. I connected the phone per usb to the computer. The phone indicates that it's connected to USB. Every ROM upgrade file I have tried gives me an update error, since they are all expecting the phone to be connected to the computer through ActiveSync.
I bought this phone in Germany and currently live in the US, so it will be tough to send it back for repairs. Plus, I don't even know if I have the original receipt anymore.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Extract the rom file you are using to flash your phone, to a folder on your pc, than Extract the file i attached ("ROMUpdateUtility-NoVendorID.zip") into this folder. than connect your phone to pc and double click on "ROMUpdateUtility-NoVendorID.exe".
cross your fingers.
reboot the computer first
I guess the trick was to reboot the computer first. After the reboot, I was able to use the provided No_Vendor_ID Updater to reflash again. Now it's all set. Thank you very much for the advice.

【How-To】【32A】IF your update to new official rom went wrong。。。
Here is some advices:
1、make a gold card.(If you cant get your CID,find it in other's device,make sure that you are belong to the same region, KHM for example)
here is the steps:
Qns wrt SG Htc Dream and SDcard
2、Download RUU pack:
http://rapidshare.com/files/267331547/RUU_Sapphire_HTC_Asia_WWE_2.53.707.2_SEA_test_signed_NoDriver.exe
3、Insert your gold card ,connect your G2 to your PC and power on.
4、Run RUU_Sapphire_HTC_Asia_WWE_2.16.707.3_SG_release_si gned_NoDriver.exe
Flash at your own RISK! You could brick your phone by doing the above.
the problem is, i can't find another device to looking for my CID, anyone know how to find the CID in other way?
Yes! The same problem! I can't find another one!
(*****This method might have your phone bricked, use on your own risk!*****)
There is an easy way to recover from this "Brick", if you have MyTouch 3G devices.
First off, you are going to need MyTouch 3G's original ROM(sappimg.nbh).
Connect your phone to your computer with Android SDK installed, and your phone's drivers.
open cmd, and go to your sdk's directory:
//
cd tools
fastboot devices
fastboot flash nbh sappimg.nbh
//after this step, you might get an error: Failed(.........).
//But don't be panic here, because after this step, your phone's original SPL and Radio are already flashed into your phone.
//If you get this error, please unplug your phone to your computer, and unplug your phone's battery for about 10 sec. and then plug in the battery again and restart your phone. and your phone should be stopped at the RUU screen.
//Then do the following:
fastboot devices
fastboot flash nbh sappimg.nbh
Then your phone should be restarted and your phone is fixed.
//
(*****This method might have your phone bricked, use on your own risk!*****)
it MAY be possible to just use a card formatted to FAT32, i bypassed perfect spl without using goldcard

gold card issues
those of you that are having probs with your gold cards, did you make sure you put in ur 'gold card' sd card in ur phone before you did the cat command?
so it gives you the ID of the card that's INSIDE the phone.
I need help! I rooted my new htc inspire and was downloading some of the 3rd party apps I use from market. One of the programs which was a font changer bricked my phone. I have reviewed every possible way to unbrick it and nothing works. When I go into bootloader the only options I have are hboot, which turns to hboot usb plug when plugged to the computer, fast boot, recovery, factory reset, simlock and image crc. Hboot does nothing I installed the hboot drivers and still nothing. I did recovery and it stalls on the HTC bootup screen then slowly blacks out, factory reset it just boots to the htc boot screen and sticks there. I have pulled the battery out more then 50 times, that doesnt work. Htc sync does not recognize that the phone is connected to the computer and the revoke hboot usb installer sees that the android is hooked up to the computer but doesnt do anything except tell me the drivers are installed. I used Bubby's one click root to root my phone. Can anyone help? This is the second phone I bricked and considering I just bought this I really dont have the money to buy another phone. Any help would be awesome!!!!
Have you tried an ODIN yet? Find the stock image for your phone (should be a tar), use odin, and flash it. Make sure you have the correct USB drivers for your phone installed.
In fact, look at this thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=11419005&postcount=2
Ive wanted to try it but was a little weary about doing it cause I though ODIN was for capitvate phones and because the ruu is from cingular and im on AT&T. Also wonder how to do it when I can not set my phone to debug or disk drive.
remove battery and keep it outside for 12 hr. then put it back and restart...
Done that already last night after it bricked. It still does the same thing. Im downloading the ruu the sync doesnt acknowledge my phone at all and the drivers on my phone are right and up to date. Except how do I put the ruu on my phone if my phone does not bootup and if I go into the bootloader screen it takes me right to the htc boot screen and doesnt go farther. Im following all the steps that have been posted in other threads but it doesnt help when I already tried majority of these things. I dont know if there is any other option to unbrick my phone if this does not work!
Ok the RUU says it can not read my phone. I get an error saying USB connection error and says to check if the phone is connected to the usb cable and the cable is connected to the pc. All of which it is. So what do I do next as the ruu cant even read my phone?

Me 2 today!!!
Hi,
I have two HTC One S, one connects to the PC and I have been able to install CM10.1, all is good, other than it doesn't charge the battery no-matter what. The other one, while connected to any USB power, charges the battery but it doesn't allow to get in communication with the same computer that the other one talks with.
1) The two One S are both S4 -
2) The drivers on the PC are OK otherwise they both wouldn't connect, same with fastboot and adb, if it works for one it must (?) work for the other.
3) Swapped cables, no luck, swapped USB port, no luck, various PC and phone reboots...
4) The ONE S that charges but doesn't communicate with the PC is still Locked and has the latest OTA from T-Mobile. I can't unlock the bootloader because, while it can go to HBOTT/Fastboot, it doesn't switch to "fastboot usb" when connected.
5) The ONE S that charges, even if I enable debugging option, it still doesn't show in ADB Devices....
Do you think it is an hardware issue? If it were, how would I go to investigate/fix? (Can it be fixed?)
Is it possible to unlock the bootloader without the USB connection using the stock T-Mobile software?
Anyone?
Thank You
Hardware or Software issue?
Well, no-one has responded to this one. So I thought I might just as well update the status of the issue which is still an issue. How would I be able to understand if the issue is software or hardware? - If the fastboot driver is installed properly, as it works with another phone (exactly the same model, same cable, same port) why doesn't it switch from "fastboot" to "fastboot usb"? How do I tell if there is an issue with the software on the phone or an hardware problem again , on the phone? -
Why, if I enable ADB on the phone then it doesn't show the ADB sign? See, this is a big issue as I can't unlock the bootloader and SIM without access to fastboot (or am I wrong?).
Anyway here are some details about the specific phone:

I have the same problem. The update stated security enhancements, so I'm wondering if they did something to prevent it from being rooted because I had no issue doing it with previous releases.
Don't know which one are you referring to. The problem that it doesn't charge or that it doesn't connect to via usb? - For me the one that doesn't charge is rooted and Cyanogen Mod 10.1 is installed. The other one, the one that doesn't communicate but charges via usb has the stock "from recovery" of T-Mobile. With this one I have tried a hard reset and loaded from recovery. I wish there was a way to put an T-Mobile update.zip on it and re-flash it from recovery.

My problem was it wouldn't unlock the bootloader. It would only charge. I could sync with htc sync so I know my cable was good and the driver installed properly. After several hours of using the all in one tool, and other programs I've found online, I went ahead and went through the process on htc site to unlock the boot loader again. Boot the phone to bootloader, Press the power button to select it. You should hear some noises on the pc indicating it's recognizing the phone. Now on the pc run the following command through adb. I don't remember doing this the first time I unlocked it, so not sure if this is new or not. Make sure your Unlock_code.bin file is in the same folder as adb
Code:
fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin
Your phone will now have an unlocked bootloader. You may have to reboot the device before you can flash the recovery.
After that is done flash a recovery through adb, I did the htc1s touch from cwm.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recoveryfilename.img
Now reboot your phone normally, You will need the file SuperSU.zip, get the cwm installable one. I can't post links since I don't have enough posts yet, but simple google search will give you the download for it.
Now mount the htc 1s as a disk drive then copy the SuperSU.zip to the /sdcard, which will be the drive you have in windows, I think it's just over 9gb. So you should have some folders in there, just put it in with the folders. Now reboot the phone through adb to the recovery, and choose to flash zip file from sdcard, then locate the SuperSU.zip and select it. Now reboot the phone, mine rebooted 2x before it booted into where I could use the phone. The phone is now rooted!
My phone doesn't sync. it doesn't switch to adb it's not detected by the PC. A different phone (same model) connects fine same port same PC same cable. In hboot it doesn't turn to USB when I connect the cable.
Sent from my One S using xda app-developers app

Does your phone show connected under device manager? Mine has two entries, one for htc device, and one for android adb device. Which driver did you use for the phone, the htc one or the one in the sdk? Also have you tried connecting this phone to another computer to see if the same problem exists of it not being recognized?
I would ultimately take the unrooted one back. If it still doesn't work, the issue is on your end.
This is an eBay phone, so realistically, I can't return it. I was wondering if, to rule out an hardware issue, as I can get to the recovery screen:
-> Android system recovery <3e>
->Use volume key to highlight; click power key to select..
-> Reboot system now
-> Apply update from external storage
-> Wipe data/factory reset
->Wipe cache partition
->Apply update from cache
->Apply update from internal storage.
If I could download in the phone storage or connect an external usb drive, and use this menu to re-load a stock t-mobile update.zip file?
Would it be possible? Would it help?
Ok, so this HTC 7 Pro (sim free, UK) is, I think, halfbricked. It's stuck on the connect to PC screen, none of the button combos do anything etc. I'm having a bash using the RUU shipped roms (once it redownloads onto a PC I have activesync on) - can anyone advise on official roms that still have active download links for if I need to go the gold card route/throw it at someone else to fix for me? I have no idea of any of the specs of the phone as I can't get to that screen.
Edit: Activesync option won't work, as it won't detect the phone. So goldcard method it is then.
