Um, i believe GT P6200 and P6201 is only differ at design, so i think that's okay and no need to change ?

unless your sending it for repair/etc. Then its recommended to flash a stock Odin anyways, which should restore your model number.

Thank you for reply.
I considered refund this device.

How can I wipe every single partition ?
It means just factory reset/wipe cache ?
If it is not, please tell me how I can do.
I really need your help
actually I would try Odin'ing to the earliest firmware for your device first, as that will likely contain the bootloaders, then you can Odin or OTA to the latest Firmware for your device.
Im quite certain these are low level images/strings (I had to JTAG repair mine for flashing custom bootloader), which are not easily changeable.
If you had to send it back for a refund, I would suggest trying to find the official firmware, possibly including .pit file.
as a last resort... you could have somebody get their PIT file and manually pull those .img's (dd if= , dd of=, etc.) VERY DANGEROUS!
or just unroot and hope they dont notice!

But, I didn't back up my own rom files. Oh my god... T_T
So, I searched pit files and csc file for my device, I didn't get it.

By using 'heimdall suites'
I'll find p6201 users !!

No problem. You can do it.
And, Can you extract your pit file from your phone ? (Before flashing)
I need file, but you'll be too.
If your model name change, you can't get customer service.
So, you need back it up.
Please help me T-T.

Hi just wondering if I can get a bit of advice regarding flashing my Samsung note 10.1 back to the original firmware.
Currently I have the tablet rooted with the ClockworkMod but I want to go back to stock as I am selling my 16GB wifi note 10.1 and upgrading to a note 10.1 32GB 3G model.
I have been reading up on how to flash it back to stock and I think I have most of it figured out,I found a video on the rootgalaxynote website called how to install stock recovery on your rooted galaxy note 10.1,but what my main question was is which is the right stock image to use.
In my about device in the note 10.1 settings it says build number is N8010XWALG4 and my note 10.1 is the Australian version so I did a search on sammobile and it came up with this firmware (Australia 2012 August N8010XWALG4 N8010XSAALG3) is that the right firmware for me,it's just that when I did the search and selected the country it only had Australia XSA for the Australian options,do you know what XSA means.
Anyway I really just wanted to check with someone here before I go ahead with flashing it back to stock.
Wish I could help but all I can contribute is this: questions don't belong here, they belong in the QA section...
As for your search, if it were mine, I'd be looking for stock n8010 firmware... I don't think you could go wrong with that
Sent from my GT-N8013 using xda app-developers app
Connect ta to PC. Run Kies and check out what your stock CSC code is that way. If it matches with XSA then go ahead and flash. I got mine through the net and my CSC is INU meaning it's an Indian tablet but I can still flash whatever I want on it.
Where'd you find the 32Gb tablet in Oz and for how much? I know a lot of places are selling 32Gb tablets but they're only 16Gb with a 16Gb microsd card or they're wifi only... I've been looking...
this is where you can get the stock firmware for N8010:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=8&view=6580
then flash it using odin.

Thanks yeah I downloaded the Kies program and the numbers seemed to match up to the firmware on the sammobile website so I'll go ahead with that.
You know you mentioned the 32GB 3G version I went and had a look and last time I was at jbhi about a month ago they had the 32GB 3G models, but now looking at their website today they only seem to stock the 16GB wifi model,so it looks like I am going to have to track one down elewhere,I'll let you know if I manage to find them anyway.

Thanks I am downloading it now,I'll do the firmware update when it downloads.
There was one other question I had,I read somewhere that when you root the note 10.1 samsungs has some sort of counter going on,and somehow I have to reset the triangles before I restore the original firmware,do you know how I go about doing this.
That counter is to show Samsung that you have flashed non stock firmware on your device. Triangle away on market fixes this.read thread on here about using it.
I have heard that Samsung does not void warranty for hardware issues even if your Device is not stock.so not sure how important it is to remove the troangle count. It would most likely prevent you from returning it to store if they check the device..only my best guess

ok thanks for that,I will go and download that triangle away app on the market before going ahead, there is one other problem I have just noticed,I am having trouble trying to get the odin3 1.85 program to recognize the stock image I downloaded, like when I start up the odin3 1.85 and I press the pda button to browse for the stock image which is called N8010XWALG4_N8010XSAALG3_XSA.zip odin3 can't see the file for some reason,I noticed on the right side it seems to be looking for .tar images, but the problem is the stock image N8010XWALG4_N8010XSAALG3_XSA.zip I downloaded is a zip file.
Do you know what I am doing wrong here.

Maybe the stock download was ziped to compress it.try unzipping. Unless you downloaded a cwm flashable zip.

yeah it was zipped so I went and extracted the original zip file and it extracted a file called KIES_HOME_N8010XWALG4_N8010XSAALG3_976376_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5 so I deleted the .md5 from the end of the file name and left the .tar to make it a tar again, don't know why samsung put .md5 at the end of a .tar file, anyway once I changed it to read as a tar file I loaded it up in odin3 and it started to flash the new image.
It took about 4 minutes to do the flash but now it's all good I am backj running the stock firmware,to make sure I held down the power and volume up buttons and it went to the stock recovery mode instead of the ClockworkMod recovery.
Also I got that triangles away program and reset the counter just in case.
Anyway thanks for your help.

Hello, today I tried to root my phone but then I found out I used the wrong version on Odin. I used GT9505 instead of my phones version which is GT9515. My phone is now messed up and is giving me the " firmware upgrade encountered an issue. please select recovery mode in kies and try again " error log as soon as I turn it on.
I followed tutorials on how to fix this issue. I have applied 2 of these tutorials which both did not work out for me.
1. Odin (Re-installing the firmware) as soon as I set everything up and hit start it fails and it tells me " There is no PIT partition " (Yes I made sure Re-partition is checked off on Odin)
2. Using the Kies application and doing the tutorial on androidcentral "/how-to-fix-firmware-upgrade-encountered-an-issue-on-kies/". (Which also did not work, as soon as it reached stage 2 it told me it couldn't connect to the device which was working fine on the first stage.
I hope someone can help me. Thank you for your time.

Ok, I'm not sure what tutorials you used or where you got the tar file to flash in Odin. But get the same Android version as you were on from sammobile.com or Samsung-updates.com. You'll download a zip file. Extract it using 7-zip or winrar. Use the resulting .tar.md5 file in PDA of Odin

This could be the dreaded emmc bug . To make sure, can you boot in recovery? If you can, try flashing other roms. If it still boots up with Slim6 and everything intact, it 99% could be the emmc. Only an emmc upgrade or motherboard replacement can fix it.
EDIT: Maybe you could look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-2/help/soft-bricked-tab-gt-p3100-t3016879/

Either a partition of emmc got corrupted by physical damage(considering the fact samsung shipped these tabs with a cheap card) or worse you erased nand while flashing firmware through Odin (did you check any box in odin yourself?)
if it's the latter case, heimdall would also not work,
tried with odin 1.85? flashed with pit file, and the four firmware files? that would be your last bet, (search google or my guide in the signature) after that it's up to the service centres.

I've got the N8000, from GErmany, i received it as part of a package from E-plus. From that information there are 4 device ROM's available....one as late as 2015. Which should i take?

Hello,
I do need some help now. I believe i've followed all directions, but am not having success.
Again, my device is a Samsung N8000 Note 10.1. Purchased from Eplus Germany
I have read the directions in how to use Odin, and have followed them precisely.
Drivers installed.
Original Firmware downloaded (N8000XXUDNL1_N8000EPLDNL2_N8000XXUDNH1_Home.tar). But, in the compresesed file that I downloaded there was also another file (SS_DL.dll). Anyone know what this means?
I copied both files into the directory of Odin v3.12.13.
began Odin, then put the tablet into download mode, then connected it to my computer. There was a sound from my computer recognizing the tablet.
I then added the file firmware file (N8000XXUDNL1_N8000EPLDNL2_N8000XXUDNH1_Home.tar) into Odin under the AP tab. I checked that the re-partiton box was not checked, then klicked onto Start. But Odin failed after about 3 seconds.
Can anyone please help me here?
thanks.
Use tar file only .

Hello, sorry but i need some more help here please.
I've downloaded what i believe is the stock firmware for my device from updato.com: GT-N8000_EPL_1_20150303173500_n47626s3xd
This is a zipped package with two file in it:
N8000XXUDNL1_N8000EPLDNL2_N8000XXUDNH1_Home.tar.md5
and
SS_DL.dll
I've put both of these files into the directory where ODIN is. I have downloaded and tried serveral ODIN versions: v1.85, v3.10.6, v3.12.7, v3.12.3, v3.07
None of them work. After loading the tar file, ODIN begins, then after about 3 seconds stops and show the message "fail".
Attached is a screen shot of ODIN once i've loaded the tar file, and one that shows after the fail.
I've also added a picture of my note 10.1 N8000 while in download mode.
Anyone can help me here?
thanks.
Download file .
Unzip file .
Put file on desktop .
Open Odin
Locate tar file only and add to PDA or AP
firmware that you are trying to install is a downgrade and the secure bootloader (sboot) is blocking it.

Hello, and thanks.
What you have described above is exactly what i am doing. Are you saying that the reason it does not work is because the bootloader is blocking it? If so, how do i get around this?
I would really like to "upgrade", rather than downgrade. But at the moment i cannot find any other firmwares for my device. A few years ago I saw several ones, but not anymore.
Do you have a suggestion of which firmware I should install, and where i can get this?
Again, thanks so much for your help! I really appreciate it.
