Unlock Question

Hi!
I'm selling my Infuse and somebody ask me if the phone is unlocked. How do I know if the phone is unlocked? I know that is rooted with CM9, because I install it.

Put a t mobile sim in it & see if it works (go to a t mobile store).
Or visit the ROM xda thread you flashed & read the op weather it unlocks it. My understanding was cm unlocks phone also

CM does not unlock your phone. There are instructions linked from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1610374 that explains how to do it. This is what I did, it worked fine. I've used my phone with three carriers on two continents without any problems.

Samsung sgh-x480 unlock

Hey guys, I am trying to unlock an old phone that won't accept a new sim. The phone is Samsung Sgh-x480. It is also known as Samsung 655. Any help would be cool.

these x-series (old phones) can be unlocked by reset setting to default
-remove sim
-restart and enter this code *2767*3855#
I unlocked by this way an old Samsung phone I can't remember what model

If you are not the original owner, you will have to have him/her get the code. It is phone/SIM specific and needs to be activated thru Verizon Customer Care.

Can you please expand on what you need? Maybe I am too new and don't understand, but what is a network unlock code, why do you need it, and what is your phone status? Will it boot? Can you get into recovery or download mode?

try to unlock verizon galaxy s3 by dialing *#197328640# but does not work!

Hi everybody, i looked up the topic about unlocking the verizon galaxy s3, but when i dialed *#197328640# on my phone dial pad, it does not work. It does not show up, nothing happen. I tried to press some anther code like *#06#, but still not working. I've tried to restore it to factory setting, but still not working. I have 3 galaxy s3 and they have the same problem. So have anybody deal with it before and give me solution for that i really appreciated. Thanks!

What android version are they on?

i already got a solution for that. On dial pad press *#22745927 and enable. after that, it should work.

Still don't work for me after using the 2nd code :/

Tyler asked because that code does work on ICS but not on JB. The code to reprovision
was removed.

didnt work for me either

I dont know if you guys are trying to unlock for GSm or CDMA, but its fatory unlocked for GSm if you are on the latest update

What is the difference between I337 and I337m

am not sure about these 2 devices i my self have i337m virgin canada but i think its a bell one cause there is no boot screen of virgin or any other
and other question is that are we able to unlock the bootloader ?

Módem acording to the region
Carrier mods or model colors (AT&T)
As i know only AT&T model is locked.

M is canadian version. That bootloader is unlocked.

Yes the i337m is the unlocked boot loader Canadian version. Otherwise same exact phone.
