Hi there I'm looking for a case for my HTC one s and I need help.
I'm looking for a case mat black, dark grey or similar and that easily go in the pocket not like some cases that is impossible to put in your pocket in minimalistic style and thin.
Thanks

I picked up this TPU off amazon. Still emphasizes the phones thinness and does a good job protecting.

Nice but i don't like the glossy plastic part...

I have the diztronic TPU case. SUPER easy to get in and out of my pocket. Super thin as well! A lot of people didn't even know there was a case on my phone because it was so thin!

I know this does not answer your question, but personally i prefer no case at all.. as a product designer student myself, any sort of case completely destroy the design of the phone: one obvious example, the iphone, looks no better then other devices with a case or shell on, but certainly different without. Besides, the One S is a pretty solid phone, not much plastic, the whole body is made of strong metal.
just my advice tho =)

But the problem is that I have some scratches one the back and on the top so I want to protect it to keep it nice and it's true that some cases totally destroy the design of a phone

Your best shot for a thin as possible would be either the OEM C742 HTC case or the casemate barely there case. I have the casemate in matte black, it is really thin, adds almost no bulk at all. I also want to buy the OEM one because it looks even thinner in photos, but the only problem is that it does not protect the screen at all, since it is so minimal, so you shouldn't leave your phone with your screen facing down, but it looks really neat. Protection-wise, the casemate is better since it covers the right and left front side of the phone, but sometimes I find it kinda difficult to press the top button. I think that these two are the thinnest of all cases. I will post some photos in the next few days if I have time.
Cheers,
T.

You can find them both in the €15-€20 price range, a bit pricey I know, but they are the best looking cases imho and the thinnest as well. If you take a look at amazon you might find them a lot cheaper.
You should check them online to see videos or reviews

Thats the one I was talking about, the only difference between this one and the 742 I was talking about is the color.
I prefer the diztronic which seems more protective and it's cheaper

Someone sent me a nillkin in black and it is amazing. Fitment is perfect, the matte finish looks great and textured back feels great. Its also very thin. Pretty much the same style as the OEM HTC c720 I think.

I recommend getting 2 of the big brand one. Incipio Feather Shine and Skullcandy. the skullcandy case fits really snug, but the down part is it's extremely hard to get it out.

I don't use any case just in case... sorry about that none of the cases ive seen were pleasing to my eye. I have never used a screen protector because of 'GorillaGlass' and never had a scratch.
I use a screenprotector from Hama. After a couple of days there was already one bigger scratch in the glass and many small ones that you don't see directly, although I never put it together with sharp things in my pocket. Now I love the new foil, it's just very smooth to swype on the display.

I am using the original flipcase of samsung bought on amazon for 9euro.
Screenprotector from mumbi also by amazon for 6euro. First I ve placed to badly but second was perfect.

I have screen protector on front and on backcover i have this from Gelaskins: http://www.gelaskins.com/gallery/H.R._Giger/Landscape_XIX
It's gives more grip so phone is not slippery on my hand....and of course it looks muchmuch better than basic black.
I bought an awesome flip case from Amazon for under $10. Will post the link tomorrow.
Isn't Gorilla Glass supposedto be the tough stuff so screen protection isn't needed? Should I buy one?

Yeah, you can say it's supposed to be tough stuff but don't be too sure. I haven't been using a screen protector. No scratches so far after 3 months since buying the phone.
Search for MOMAX iCase. My sammy looks better with that thing than w/ out it + gives some extra grip. I tried 4 or 5 1-3$ covers from e-bay, you cant even compare them with Momax...

No problems with ghost armor, its amazing. There's no way it made your screen mess it, if anything It's a faulty install.
I know people who have Ghost armor, including myself. It's by far one of the best screen protectors, a lot better than zagg.

Can you make a few pictures so i could see how it looks?
Hard to decide which is best for a one S.
I presume matte and clear variants will scratch & wear and become ugly one day.
And the Crabon Fiber finish will just ruin the looks of a sweet One S i believe.
I don't have the full wrap just the screen. But ill take a pic still if you like.

Watch some comparison videos on YouTube. You'll get more from a video.
Ghost Armor is nearly perfectly clear compared to Zagg, I noticed it was a little thicker.
Also, when you order Ghost Armor they send you 2 screens. Just in case you mess up on the first try.

Could you please explain, how this product works?
Is it simply like a screen protector, that covers the entire phone?
Can you attach it to the body only, but leave the screen unprotected?
Is the clear version more or less invisible?
Matte version is solid or transparent?
Does it add any grip and bulk?

It's a screen protector but over the entire phone. It's not going to protect your phone from huge drops, but for everyday use its perfect.
Ghost Armor has minimal orange peel "effect", a lot less than Zagg.
Adds no bulk.
Matte version is slightly transparent
You can leave it off the screen if you wish.

Danny nice but expensive bugatti case! Too rich for me lol
Sent from my TC970 (Wi-Fi) using xda app-developers app
I have both cases and prefer the mofi. It´s special ! The material is like plush, like a stuffed animal. -> awesome drop protection and a pocket (for headphones or a micro fiber cloth)!
The bugatti is too thin (skinny...) -> no drop protection. But it looks, feels and smells nice (high quality leather).

Funny how people's mileage vary.
For me the Mofi screams cheap (as, indeed, direct from China, it is). It doesn't fit too well and I don't like how it feels.
But there you go: 'vive la différence'.
Go onto etsy some **** on there..look for the "lebowski" case when I get the money I'm ordering one

Hello all ,
I received a proposition by Poetic to test the new Affinity Case for our Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + so there is my review.
After three weeks of use, I can give a full review of the Affinity Case for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus by Poetic.
Design:
First of all, I have to admit that the crystal clear style is just perfect to see all the beauty of the S6 Edge Plus, it's really a good point as I don't like cases that hide all the phone.
Protection:
There is a full TPU protection aroud the case, with bumper corner to decrease the shock when the phone fall on the ground.
I must say that's very important for me as I have a little daughter and she likes to take my phone to watch her cartoons. And this could lead to little accidents with my phone on the floor:s.
With this case I don't fear this issue and I feel it very resistant, not as resistant as a UAG case but it's enough for most of the fall.
Hands-on:
There are grips all around the case, to have a better grip and don't let it fall during use. It's very comfortable under the finger and on the hand.
Connections:
The cut to plug the phone are well cut, and there is no issue with different kind of connector.
I also tried to charge my phone on wireless charger and it works very well too.
Conclusion:
It's quite classy and quite solid so I may say it's a very good choice for those who wants thin protection and resistant to shocks.
The quality is very good and it's a great case. So for the price no hesitation, it's a very good option.

I REALLY like the looks of this case... right now I have a UAG because it was all I could get, and I wasn't about to go around un-protected. So far all the sleek looking ones that i see (like many Spigen or whatever) look like they offer no protection. That TPU seems important.... this looks like the case I may get next....

Yes it's the black clear. It's a good protection, I must say UAG is a better protection but larger, and uglier that's sure. If you don't have kids that throw your phone on the floor saying "Daddy I tried to give you your phone, I'm sorry", it's far enough protection

THE problem is as yet there doesn't appear to be a tempered screen that works with the S6Edge+. I have tried about five, there is a complete thread in this section dedicated to this very subject. I also own the Affinity case and can assure you that to date no glass screen protector would stay fixed while using that case.

So I've been on the hunt for a particular leather case for my 6p. no matter where i looked i couldn't find exactly what i was looking for.
But they do make what i wanted for the iPhone 6 plus, which is almost exactly the same form factor as my 6p.
