Sdhd upgrade for inpire? - HTC Inspire 4G

I know the inspire should be compatible with sdhd cards. Is there a driver update that will allow users to use an sdhd card instead of the regular sd micro card?

Nope...there is no special drivers required...although there are certain tweaks, that claims to improve your sd card speed...

This is dev section. You need to post in Q&A and people will help you.

After unpartitioning your data on it shall be lost.
To unpartition you simply insert your SD card on WInMo device (Like I do on my HD2) and format it. You shall have full space back.
use mini toolpartition wizard homew edition to unpartition it using the pc
PartionManager will help
Thank you for the help!

Some of the apps will not let you, the developer of the app has to allow it to be moved to SD card. Just curious how many apps do you have installed?

There's an app on the market called APP2SD, from Infolife (there's another one that does the same thing). It will semi-automate the process of porting over any app that can be moved to your SD card.
Keep in mind for some apps, not all of the data is moved to the SD card, only a portion is. Hopefully this should clear up some space.

SD Card not reading

So I place my 32GB SD card into my new 32GB galaxy s3 and it is not reading the SD card at all. Anyone else have or had this issue that may be able to shed some light? The pic is what the phone says with the card installed

I know that I had to format my 64GB card with fat32. You could give that a try.

I will give that a try once Sandy leaves my state alone lol.

Phone Not Reading SD Card

Is any one else having this problem?
Can it read other SD cards? My wife has received three 64GB microSD cards in a row,all from different stores, that were bad and wouldn't mount in hers or my phone. But we can mount any other SD card fine. They do have a high failure rate. You can see it all over the forums here.

The 1st one I tried wouldn't work, so I bought a Samsung card & have had no issues.Shouldn't make a difference, but who knows?

I've had this problem with a 64 class. 10 sandisk. Card. Recognizes fine in my wife's s3 but mine it doesn't. Her is stock and I'm rooted and rom'ed. Going to try and Odin stock with it installed and see if that fixes it. Then just reinstall cwm and rom

Most custom roms won't recognize a card formatted with exFat. You will need to format the card with fat32 to use it...

Formatted with dos cmd prompt app I found online and now my phone reads the card

We need to compile a list of ROMs that support exFAT. In this day and age of huge capacity sdcards and the ability to rip movies, the lack of exFAT support is becoming a major liability.
