Some of the apps will not let you, the developer of the app has to allow it to be moved to SD card. Just curious how many apps do you have installed?

There's an app on the market called APP2SD, from Infolife (there's another one that does the same thing). It will semi-automate the process of porting over any app that can be moved to your SD card.
Keep in mind for some apps, not all of the data is moved to the SD card, only a portion is. Hopefully this should clear up some space.

Can't use external sd card for apps

I've got an external sd card with fourteen gigabytes free but cannot make apps install to it.
Is there a way on stock rooted uk gb rom to do so as if not I can't install any more apps. Seems kind of stupid of lg to not allow it so any help appreciated.

I think you misunderstood me. I can move apps to sd no problem, the problem I'm having is lg sends apps to internal sd not the actual external sd card. As a result my actual sd card doesn't get used as it should for apps.

More storage space on my SD card

Is there an app in the market that I can install that will give me more space on my SD card. Thanks in advance. Happy new year everyone!!!

Like erasing old app data and such? Htc has a built it one for that.
But also since Android is basically Linux, it should support compressed filesystem. If the kernel has it, perhaps there is a way to mount the sdcard in a special manner that will allow auto compression. But that is likelly to cause some performance issues...
I do not fully understand the scenario. Could you please provide some more details?

do you mean to transfer apps in internal memory?
if yes then you can do it from settings>manage applications(or something like that)
but if you mean to transfer data then use any file manager ,go to settings and check the option for mount internal memory as writable
(personally i am using es file explorer)
I was meaning transfer zip files, apps, etc from my sd card to another app to free up space on my SD card.Does anyone know of a app in the market that I could use to transfer zips, apps, etc to for I can free up some space on my SD card. Thanks

You can transfer your data to your computer to store it and free up space, but as for an application, I'm not aware of one that will free SD card space. Best wishes

Internal storage

I always wanted to increase my internal storage. I googled it but no result found. Really, there is no way to increase it? Sry for my bad English.

Hi,
Internal storage is fixed.
You can get a bigger sd card.
Internal storage is fixed however you can add a bigger SD card. That will allow you to move apps from internal to the SD if you choose, opening up space.

Buy a 64 GB SD card... The Sensation fits more stuff than any other phone I own. I have every possible high end game on my Sensation from the Play Store and still didn't fill it. I wish they built the storage on every phone this way TBH.

That's propably why you can't move it. As it's a system app, it's placed in a system folder, so it's unmovable from there. Same goes for any other preinstalled app.
i think so... but i tkink when you update an app a complete copy Will be created and so could moved...

Yes, u just need to root your phone and download titanium backup(only rooted phone can use it because it allows the user to uninstall system app ) then uninstall soundhound using the app. Soundhound is available for download in play store so u can download it and move it to sd card.
