[Q] How to update using firmware from Sammobile? - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I currently have an N8010 running XXALGC. Someone on here pointed out there is a new German firmware on Sammobile (4.0.4 before anyone gets excited), I am hoping this will fix some of wireless issues. I am downloading the zip as we speak N8010XXALI3_N8010OXAALI3_DBT.zip
Once it has downloaded do I just flash it through CWM or is there another process for firmware from Sammobile?
Never mind found it

[Q] Official O2 branded firmware for S2 ?

Hi,
I am searching for latest O2 branded firmware but as Multiupload and other hosting sites are down now. Can someone please help me to get this latest firmware. Kies in my computer also shows me a new firmware but when I update with Kies, it does all the process of downloading and installing but after the 100% completion it reaches back to the same state showing a newer version is available.
I will be grateful for any help either by giving me any link to download the latest branded firmware of o2 or to help solving Kies problem.
p.s. I have tried samfirmware.com and also Check Fus but those firmwares are corrupted and they stuck in the middle of installation.
This is a version RC1. In March would officially

Thank you Seryeo but as I mentioned in my previous post that the firmware which is available at SamMobile is perhaps corrupted as when I run it at Odin it stucks in the middle and then I have to flash my mobile again with the older firmware otherwise my mobile stops working.

Stock gear 2 Odin file

Looking for the stock gear 2 Odin file. Currently running tizen mod 3.0 but I am having Bluetooth connection issues and was interested in unrooting my gear 2.
Went to sammobile website and found firmware for UK version. No USA version?
Although she have said it's the same, when I do the firmware check, Sammobile website says firmware not found and does not allow me to download the file.
Can some one post or send me a link to the stock gear 2 file so I can flash via Odin.
Thanks in advance

I'm in the same boat. I found the UK version on samsung-updates, but still want to know why no US version. Is it because there just simply isn't one?
I went through this same situation with my Gear 1. No U.S. updates have been available. The UK one is perfectly fine to use since it's the English language.
Here's my mediafire link of the UK version

Have you still gotten the "tampered device" message after using the UK firmware when checking for an update?

Flashed back to stock from tizen 3.0 mod and I don't get that error messages when doing a check for update. I did notice when I'm download mode my flash counter is tripped and now status says Custom. Is there a way to rest the flash counter?

Yeah. I tried the UK one and when I tried checking for an update on my S5 it still told me that I was unable to because it was modified. Was that how you flashed back to stock? Or did you use another method?
We used the same method the same firmware versions (UK). The only difference is that I'm running an S4 and your running an S5. Also, my S4 is still with the mdk bootloader so I'm not using safestrap. I'm on TWRP. Not sure if that has anything to do with the error messages your seeing.

There is a new Loly firmware update for Singapore available for download in Sammobile. http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/46491/N915GXXU1BOD2_N915GOLB1BOD2_MM1/
Has anyone tried to flash successfully the firmware??? I have tried updating several times but failed It claimed that the system ext4 image file too large or something??? Flashed back the latest Aussie firmware and all is good. I am not sure what I have done wrong here? could Singapore N915G different than the Aussie that would explain why I cant flash on my Aussie N915G??

I've found the Partition is different for Aussie carrier devices. You might need a dfferent PIT file...
Just be advised though, you may not be able to go Aussie carrier roms easily and remember, flashing a PIT file can be dangerous....

Which files to flash to update to latest firmware and keep provider compatibility

I have a g930f which originally had the TTT (Trinidad/Tobago) firmware. I am in the USA on AT&T. When I download the latest TTT firmware from Sammobile, which files in the .TAR should I flash, and which should I avoid? One of them at least would overwrite my AT&T compatibility I believe, but I'm not sure which one. Thanks for a reminder so I can update, anyone who can help!
