Hi pros,
Lately tecno have produced some low end smartphones running on android, i was so unlucky i got the Tecno P3 which is running Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread.
The other specs are:
2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 900 / 2100
SIM Dual mini SIM
Body
Dimensions 115.8 x 62 x 11.7 mm
Keyboard Touchscreen
Display
Type TFT capacitive touchscreen with 256,000 colors
Size 320 x 480 pixels, 3.5 inches, 165 pixels per inch (PPI)
Memory And OS
Card slot MicroSD, up to 32 GB
Internal 512 MB
OS Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread
Processors 800 MHz dual-core CPU
RAM 512 MB
Now to the problem, first i am experiencing low memory even after rooting, partitioning SD and using link2SD to link some apps to SD.
Second problem is, i want to know if it can be upgraded to a higher OS.
Thanks in advance
Been looking for that too... for my d5. Nearly giving up now. Am not the type that reads a lengthy article so to say, but I think the phone has to be rooted with CWM recovery installed, then you'd be ready to flash the APPROPRIATE ROM through CWM Recovery.... and again: the appropriate ROM.

whats the exact error message you get?
I was looking for a dualsim mobile with at least a 5" or even better 5.5" display.
I looked up the G750 from huawei which looks really nice and seems to be powerful. But are there other recommendations from you. The pricing should be at around max 230 - 250 euro.
You can check out the HTC One M8 Dual Sim version, very reliable device with a 5" display. Very crisp.

I'm just wondering, why are you "Thanking" every post of yours?
I thought maybe its me so I went in and checked around and it's quite obvious that the person thanking you has thanked almost every post you've made.
One of the rules here at XDA is (Do not have multiple accounts, one account is more than enough.)
And what's it with people trying to get thanks, people will thank you when they feel that they have been helped or like something in particular that you did.
Anyways I hope you get what I mean, but I do apologise if I am wrong. But I highly doubt that the account that keeps thanking every post of yours is someone else.

First of all,I only have one account on xda and the guy who is thanking my every post is just a fan or something. He messaged me that he is my biggest fan but I suspect that he is not a real person and is doing this just to gain attention.
Also,I dont get anything even if I get 10,000 thanks than why would I make a fake id for which I dont even have time to thank me on my each and every post.

Lol a fan, yeah right. Well it doesn't bother me. If a mod finds out then they can check the ip's and tell if the accounts the same person.

Nope. It is necessary when you have one number as prepaid number and another one is just for Data (like mailo internet etc.)
It seems the OnePlusOne is just a phone you get when you have an invitation, has no dual sim and it is too expensive. When I Import it. There comes around 22 percent customs and taxes on the price.
Saw a preview of the motorola turbo. Just curious if any ROMs will be available

unfortunately this is a combined thread for all note pro 12.2 it seems.. and the only roms ive noticed have been for the P900 only .. wondering if having a specific one for each of the others like att/vzw/tmo, etc would help.. not sure it would..
not savvy enough to know if it would be possible to port in a sense the p900 ones to make them work with the others like the 905 etc.
From my Fired-up Note Pro 12.2!
This is already a very market-specific device, and then you go buy the variant that is for an even smaller market, hoping there will be ROMS for a device owned by maybe 40 XDA users? Not bloody likely.

p905 has other platform than p900 (snapdragon vs exynos), so porting something between p900 and p905 is quite difficult
Are there any issues with the bootloader being locked or anything like that on the Verizon version?
Oh wow I wish it had more support had no idea they were that different... well at least I have root
Yeah back when I'd use my Verizon galaxy tab 10.1 I would be one of the beta testers for the guy that was developing the kernel for cm 10 support for the tablets in that model line (great dev named Pershoot). He would put in countless hours trying to piece together something that would support all of the variants and I would flash test ROMs over and over again to verify that all features worked. That experience taught me to avoid a US carrier branded android tablet if I wanted to tinker with roms lol. I haven't seen anyone developing like that here yet. It's an impressive commitment developers make.

Hey, we now have a debloated stock ROM and CM11 ROM, both with custom kernels!
P905 ROMS
Okay,
I'm also fed up with waiting for cyanogen to port their ROM to the P905; so I decided to give it a go myself.
I checked the hardware for the P905 and noticed that it is nearly identical to the note 10.1 lte 2014 edition, for which a ROM already exists.

I've tried downloading the ROM that is available for the sm-p605, but it can not simply be flashed on the p905 of course.
Give me some time to look at it and I'll post here as soon as I get it working.
Greets.
Here's my take on roms for the Note Pro....if you're rooted & have Xposed installed you really don't NEED to flash a rom. You can customize the stock rom the way you want for the most part. I know some developers also tweak the performance in their roms but the Note Pro is quite fast stock. What feature do you really need that can not be added with Xposed?

Not much, I guess, I just don't like Samsungs TouchWiz, for starters, I know there are different launchers out there, but I want it gone from my system.
The same goes for those who have the p900, they already have ROM's available, then why shouldn't we, p905 owners?
But thanks for the input though.

Operating System :ANDROID V4.4 KITKAT
Core: Dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7
Battery: Li-Ion 1540 mAh
I mainly interested about the operating system and its core.
It costs about $65(60€), is it worth the price?

For what it offers its not a bad price, the one thing I'd be concerned about is the battery being small but then it seems like a small phone
I'd also suggest to read some user opinions

Its not a good deal. The phone is really low end. If you need a cheap phone buy a used one or a refurbished one. You'll get a MUCH better phone for less than 100$

The thing is, you can have better phone at this price point. Try buying the Chinese Counterparts of your phone, since they are low cost and give you a better specs
But if you are a developer and do some modification in your phone, then I would recommend you branded Phones since their support is better in terms of ROMs, Kernel as compared with Chinese counterparts
