[Q] Samsung Galaxy ACE Hard Bricked... Please help

Hey !
I was trying out the ROM Manager and was checking out the roms available in the list, i accidentally pressed a wrong model and my device was flashed...now my phone is hard bricked, it doesn't even switch on in any mode.
i cam across this link for Samsung Galaxy S

Wanted to know if the same procedure can be used for a Samsung Galaxy Ace ??

an exact thing happen to me.but i manage to get my pc to detect the phone by pressing power+volume up+home (i dont know what mode).odin detected my phone but the flashing stuck at setup connection..because it was not in downloading mode i guess...
same as above, help needed!
additional info: pc and odin detect phone bot not kies, on kies it keep saying connecting....and theres no display on the phone

Edit: All right. Here's what I did:
1. Remove the battery from the Galaxy Ace
2. Connect the USB cable to the PC as well as the phone
3. Hold: volume down + home + power buttons all together and insert the battery while you're doing that (could be a bit tricky but it works)
4. Now you should be in download mode with "downloading" on your screen
5. Open up Odin v4.38 and flash your stock firmware (find it on samfirmware)
6. That's it! It should be fully working now (at least it did for me)
Tell me if it works for you guys!

its okay alr , i bring it to the service center it claims my motherboard spoil , it changed a new one for me

@ramy.s - i tried what you did but still nothing happens.
@donomeoww - how much did it cost you for samsung to replace your motherboard? i know jtag can be an option to revive the unit but sadly the model is not yet supported, lucky for samsung s5570 though they already have jtag support on 1st week of april.

same thing happened to me.
did different methods to bring it to boot, even the two-prong diy to force to turn it on, still no go.
in the end, store replaced the device...with a bnew one of course.

Did anybody successfully revived bricked ACE??

hey guys, i bricked my phone last april then the only solution to revive it is by replacing the motherboard or by using JTAG. btw JTAG support for samsung was released last May 12.

It just corrupts your motherboard
So a hardware issue can't be solved from home
Only option I guess is Service Center
Hope you have warranty
ROM Manager is a tricky tool
It hard bricks your phone if you do even a step wrong !
Ps ....Im just cautioning everyone so that it doesn't happen in future to others....

[Q] My Samsung GSL dead help me pls!!!

After wrong root my SSGSL my phone still dead can not do anything with black screen( can not turn on my phone) and can not launch to Download Mode it seems no respond of any bottoms when i press it !!
As i thought my phone is Samsung GS1 (I9000)so i download the wrong one to root it !
but in fact my phone is Samsung GSL I9003 !! so unfortunely me !!
Does anyone know how to fix it pls ?
and do you know how to root my Samsung GSL I9003 !!

and then how to flash new ROM with odin ?
Can i just plug my phone in via USB and try to flash it with odin ?

i think you can't flash if dowload mode doesn't work, but try it anyway. However you need some comunication between the phone and the pc.
You got an FW issue and want to root? You would need also communication between phone and PC. If u r lucky, use the SuperOneClick or the cf-root.
I believe that would be better for you to go to the Technical Service.

Did you try reading the FAQ? search the modding section also. There you have the instructions.
However, you would need to enter download mode (to cf-root with ODIN).

If u cant acsses to the downloading mod and recovery mod you have to try the usb iug method u can see vidios about this on youtube

hello xda community... i need some help trying to bring back to life my p6810 a friend flashed something wrong because when im in download mode it says product name: gt-p7560 and when i connect it to odin it failed while to flash boot.ini ive tried everything on the web and have got no luck... i think i need to remove that gt-p7560 but how can i if odin continues to fail??? please help me!!!

I solved this problem with JTAG (require pro service equipment) like RIFF box

samsung galaxy core got bricked

I have samsung galaxy core. I tried to put custom OS. Since this is my first time i dont have much knowledge about that. It was got bricked. Now My phone is not turning on:crying:. whenever i try to turn on it keeps on vibrating even it is not going into download or any mode. Please do provide the solution asap. thanks in advance

Bro you need to flash 3 part firmware with odin. Which galaxy core model you have? (G360H, G361 etc.)

I have the same problem with my Gt-i8262. Pls explain how to flash 3 part firmware.

Use this guide http://unbrick.itcse.com/unbrick-soft-bricked-samsung-galaxy-core-gt-i8262/ with pit file.(pit file is in attach) I hope you will fix your soft-bricked problem.

That's fine but how do i acess the bootloader. 3 button combo is not working. whenever I try it vibrates for some time and turns off(dead). But Odin still detects it. Pls help.

Istall your device drivers. Search on google your stock firmware and download it, then open odin, and install it. Search a guide on youtube to install stock firmware.
