Hey guys,
I've got a quick question; I've got one of those android mini pc's hooked up to a monitor
We want to use it as a display for our front desk...is there any kind of app or task scheduler than can toggle between apps we have running ? sort of like a screen-saver but for toggling between apps?

Hi folks,
My first post!
I'm running CM10.1 on rooted HTC ONE X.
I would like to use profiles to automate some settings on my phone, such as home, work, car etc that toggle WiFi, adjust volume, brightness...etc.
I can see three ways to do this:
1) Use CM10.1 profiles and add shortcut to profiles in quick settings panel.
2) Use NFC Task Launcher and NFC tags
3) Use Tasker and activate profiles by connecting to home WiFi, Bluetooth, near cell tower etc
I suppose I could also use a combination of the above?
What do you do? What are the pros and cons?
Thanks

Hi Guys,
I'd like to set an action in tasker to enable/disable the Settings, Locked Screen, Maximise widgets setting.
If your wondering why, its because I have set my pattern lock to disabled while connected to my car bluetooth adapter. However when its on slide I don't like the Maximise widgets getting, because I have to swipe twice to get to my phone.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Oh yea, if it matters I'm on on CyanogenMod 11.
Hi guys, I'm looking for an simple app so I can create profiles and manage all the settings in one click.
I'm looking for something that would:
Turn off localization
Turn off sync
Turn off data
Turn off auto-rotate
Turn off bluetooth
Put the phone in 2G only mode
Preferably something that will look like a widget, so I can one-click turn off everything. I've looked at DU Battery Saver but it does not affect the root settings (like 2g only) and I don't want it in my notification tray.
Thanks a lot
Hi, I'm used to using Internet Speed Meter. It's a fine application which displays a floating widget with inetrnet speed.
But the widget often hides. I realized that it hides always when I made a call but I'm not sure if it hides also with no action from my side. I'm using Call recorder too but disabling didn't help.
Any suggestions how prevent application on background to stop? I had enabled notification, it didn'd help.

I use network monitor mini and I have no problem. But you must take care of the Doze mode from Google and the Galaxy built in battery optimization (which I disabled).
For Doze mode go to the battery settings and turn off doze for your app specifically.
Doze mode turns off every application communication and tasks after your phone is stationary for about 30 minutes I think. It opens a maintenance window every few minutes to applications do what they have to do and then turn apps off again.
It is a good approach to save battery, but it has drawbacks. So, turn off doze for every application that you need to keep it running every single minute.

Hey all
I need a little help with the battery saver
I'm using Macrodroid and want to make a macro that enables battery saver, the problem is that it enables it ok but not "Super save" (don't know if that's the name), like if I use the icon in notificationbar or in settings
I can send intent to open the settings page but can't activate the button
UI action doesnt work with screen off and I can't turn that on when the phone is closed
Any suggestions?
