[REQUEST][LIVE WALLPAPER] Main Title Sequence from tv show Revenge - Android Apps and Games

I was hoping someone out there could make a live wallpaper that was like the main title sequence for the television series called Revenge. It's basically a sea storm brewing with waves and an ominous sunset. I found someone who made this video using after effects http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2MXRPyQ3po but you have to get to the end of the one minute video to see what I'm talking about. And here is a clip from the show, you can see the sequence in the first 5 seconds of the clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnmC8vncIn4. If someone can make something like this in to a live wallpaper without the "Revenge" title in it (or any of the wording for that matter), that would be fantastic. Thanks!

An excellent app idea from an artistic noob

So i was thinking, what if someone made an app which displayed an android that dances very rhythmically to music played on a device, and differently to each song played. By this, i don't mean an android that simply swings it's hips, but does flips, twirls, claps, winks and jumps, all when necessary, and keeps to the rhythm and beat of the music; the dancing would be equal to the choreography used in music videos, and would not use some cheap "dancing skills". I would make this app myself, but i have no experience in writing software. If anyone would like to use this idea to develop, please let me know, as I have no problem in restricting its development because it's my idea (if there is such a thing) but i would like to know if it is being made is so I can download it myself! Thank you all for viewing my idea

Your favorite Live Wallpapers?

Hey everyone,
Browsing through the marketplace or a website for Live wallpapers is a pain, and I'd like to have a lot more than I currently do. How about you guys share some of your favorites? Maybe even include a mobile friendly link if you're feeling frisky?
Thanks!
I use 'wallme'.
You set folders in your gallery to be set as a wallpaper sideshow.
Many options available such as duration, transition, zoom, fade etc.
Android Sparkle LWP
Aquarium is nice the free version doesn't let you customize how many/what type of fishes and other things but it's pretty cool IMO.

Oh man Light Grid is amazingly mesmerizing, and so customizable its crazy.
i've been using video live wallpaper for ages now. my fav has always been this video of the internal working clock. it fills up the whole screen with moving gears similar to what you would inside the watch. what i normally do is go to youtube and download a vid of my choice. this way i can always keep changing my wallpaper. i have mirror lights, particles, ink on water, the beach, rain, pug licking my screen, etc.
Can you explain in a little more detail how you rip these YouTube videos to be able to use them as wallpapers?

pretty easy. i don't have the link right now as it's in my laptop at home. but basically you can google it and several websites come up for saving youtube clips. what happens is you open the site in one window/tab. in another tab you have youtube open. so say you typed in the search field (of youtube) for clockwork. several video clips will come up. click on one and copy the http address as seen in the field above. paste this into the search field of the youtube video download site. once clicked, you'll get several format opitons. by far the most common are mp4 and flv. fortunately, video wallpaper plays both. save the file and transfer it to your phone.
from your phone, open video wallpaper. go to the menu screen and choose the video you want to play. presto! instant wallpaper.
btw, i noticed that some wallpapers are off-centered. if you're using adw launcher, click on the menu and bring up scrolling wallpaper option. this way you can choose which parts of the video wallpapers shows what detail. i think this should work as well with the default launcher.
hope that helps.

[REQUEST] Kaoss Pad 3 App?

So lets make this simple:
This thing:
http://www.amazon.com/Korg-KP3-Dyna...8GI8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1322409394&sr=8-1
How it works:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39n4wow8fWE
What you can do with 1 or more of them linked together (skip to 8:00):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qciVXUHTN10
And now imagine this for android! With only some functions of that thing, like recording a part, looping it, editing the pitch for example, or even speeding up the recorded footage while playing it! with more than one recorded bit!
It would be epic!
Is there any app like this out already?
try this. Electrum Drum Machine. Just type it on goole with .apk
You can record samples, use your own .wma files, create loops, change pitch and even fit your .wma loop to songs BMP.

Yes, of course this would be great! But there is the demon in the detail and his name is "Latency":

Several music apps I tried on Android are simply not reliable enough, when it comes to precision timing and I have the bad feeling it´s not the app´s but the OS´s fault.

Ultimate Special Fx

So what software do? It actually gives you the option to add any kind of action movie scene you are photographing (car falls, helicopter crashes and explodes missile) When I saw that the iPhone really wanted it, so I waited and waited until I found this:

A great live wallpaper... if you like fish.

I know theres a thread for showing your homescreens, but I thought this deserved a special mention. It gives the tablet a total wow factor. The colours, details and effects are all top notch, and really show off what a great screen the Note has (tip: when tablet is in portrait mode you'll see the sun, waves and a manta ray). Its called Ocean HD, check out the video on the app store, and is available for £1.99, which is also the price of a battered sausage at my local chippie, and I know which I'd rather have! However on this occasion I purchased the wallpaper instead.
While I'm on here I'll also say that I found Air Attack HD can be played in landscape mode, which I do using the pen (double tap to drop yer bombs). Plays brilliant!
