So I was coming from an EVO 3D and accidentally restored "Wifi Access Points" using Titanium Backup *root and now my wifi wont turn on. If its not too much trouble can anyone please use Titanium Backup to make a backup of this entry and post it here so i can try to restore the stock info to get my Wifi working again? It would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hello recently had to send my phone away to vodafone for repair as the volume button snapped somehow, anyway i backed up all my data using sprite bac up tool which was provided on a disc with the phone.
It restored my phone to how i had it before but now i can't go on the internet or do anything related with data, weather, mms, updates etc. When I go to communications and click data the loading symbol comes up but then nothing happens and the data will not turn on.
I have tried restoring to manufactuer defaults and the data then works but as soon as i restore my bacup it stops working.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Are you restoring your backup to the same ROM version? Was this a full system backup including registry/etc?
It was a full bacup including all windows and program data. I dont know if they changed the ROM version as I dont know what was on it before it went for repair. I dont know why they would of needed to flash it for just changing a button. Unless there was an update available i guess?
I tried a bacup which didnt include the windows directory and it still had the same issues
thanks for your reply
anybody have a clue?
I recently flashed stock rom of micromax A52. There were no problems. I then also created a backup of stock rom using clockworkmod but then when I install any custom rom with root on my phone, my wifi started working incorrectly. It starts but as soon as I try to use it, wifi disconnects and shows the wifi which it out of range(although it still there). I tried to restore the backup but now with it the same problem occurs. Will I be able to restore back it? Please help me....
phone not working
guys my phone automatically switches off and never turns on again. if i wipe data and cache it switches on again and after an hour or two it again gets switched off. plz help.....
I made a full nandroid backup on twrp about a week ago which included every option including EFS, when I went to (fully) restore the backup due to a faulty ROM it got stuck at 36% and wouldn't continue, I left it overnight to see if it would work and it did not, so I pulled the battery out and went to re run the restore but it has dissappeared, it wasnt on my SD card anymore and I couldn't figure out what had happened so I restored a different backup that only included data, system, and recovery, and when I booted my phone it said it was in Factory mode right away, but it didn't have the yellow text in the background, I have access to my cellular network but when I turn WiFi and then open an app that uses it, the phone instantly shuts off, I was reading online that the EFS was corrupt but the whole folder was empty, not a single file in it. I can't find anyone else who had the same problem and would greatly appreciate any help, I'm quite desperate to get this fixed

Hey guys, I just did a factory reset because I was told that it may help with some battery issues. I did a backup in CWM and also one through Titanium. I wanted to use Titanium to restore but it kept hanging so I did a restore through CWM instead. Everything seems fine except that it can't seem to recognise my fingerprint anymore. I can still unlock the lockscreen with my backup password. However, when I try to use the backup password to edit my fingerprint in the settings, it says that my backup password is invalid! How can that be when I JUST used it to unlock the screen? Any advice would be much appreciated.
By the way, if it's true that a factory reset might help with the battery life, would restoring from CWM make any difference or did it just return it to its previous state?
For a while ago i did restore too and fingerprint did not work. As i know the restore whipes fingerprint data. So only solution is to flash whole rom angain or do factory reset and start at the begining.
As i heard, the factory reset might help with battery life. But if you do a reset, then your fingerprint broblem is solved.
so i restored a backup on my onplus 6 with twrp(enchillida2.2.3 i think), but for some reason my wifi wont turn on after the restoration of my backup. i only restored system, data and boot. if i restore other thing like vendor and modem i wont be able to use my phone, because i will get a black screen with only the led blinking. can someone give me tips i would really appreciate it.
