Manage sources on News aggregators like Pulse,Flipboard,Currents,Reader - Android General

Enough threads on Flipboard vs Currents vs Pulse vs Reader
This thread gave me some idea....but they were mostly which one do u prefer kinda posts
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1644575&page=2
TBH i use them all...
And all of them are good in their own way (except maybe flipboard.. apart from an innovative way to browse news...it has got nothing)
But the question is how do u use them
For eg I use
Reader - For personal RSS like warez,movie/tv show releases etc
Currents - For the stuffs which i mostly read the articles too not just the feed like lifehacker, addictivetips etc
Pulse - the most used ...softpedia, cnet, ars technica etc...stuffs i just read the feeds not the articles
Flipboard - I have no idea how to use this effectively
So my question is how do you guys manage them all so as to use them effectively without repetition

What did you view it for ...wasnt the title self explanatory of the content...

Google Currents Widget?

It's amazing that google effort into making such a nice news app, but yet somehow forgot a widget.
Would this be something extremely difficult to make?
It seems crazy to me that they would have a widget for Reader but not Currents.

This is the #1 reason why I don't use currents anymore. That and when I used it, if the Web article you were reading had multiple pictures, the app read them as separate pages. So a 3-4 page article turned into a 50-60 article.

Is I think a real shame. A currents widget would be boss

I can't believe they don't have a widget for this otherwise awesome news aggregator. All their major competition has some sort of widget...even something like google genie would be better than nothing...of course scrollable would be preferred.
What's the deal, Google?

Facebook / Twitter App

I have tried about every app out there for Facebook and Twitter. I really love Scope, but it hasn't been working properly lately with Facebook. I started with TweetDeck/TweakDeck and it is nice but Scope is better in my opinion. Plume, Sesmic, Uber, all are nice but lack in merged timeline with both Facebook and Twitter. Sesmic has the function but will not remember the place and development is now dead with that app. There are a couple new ones out there like KeepApp and SocialWorld, but they are not very polished yet.
I like Scope when it works with Facebook notifications, but that hasn't worked in a month or so. It lacks in being able to follow hash tags like TweakDeck/TweetDeck, so it isn't a complete replacement for me, but as close as I can find.
Just curious what everyone is using for both social networks, and what you like and don't like about it.

No comments..... Didn't think I would be the only one that is picky.

I used Tweetdeck a couple years ago and liked it but I've been using both the official FB and Twitter apps for a while now. Never really had any problems with them so that is what I stick with. I actually changed over to the official Twitter app because it had push notifications.
I like tinfoil for Facebook. Very light weight and work for me.

So much for tweetdeck, goes by by in May along with the v1.0 API it uses to work.... Wonder how that affects other Twitter apps?

Good mind mapping app?

Can anyone recommend a good mind mapping app for android? I've looked at imindmap but it seems kind of expensive for my needs. Just need something that's fairly simple to use and will allow me to insert images and links, as well as label the branches themselves.
Thanks in advance

Thanks. Is it worth buying the paid version?
Edit: never mind, seems you need the paid version to insert pictures so I guess the answer is yes.

Think Space it's an awesome app
I also use SimpleMind. Does everything I want it to. :3
Been testing out simple mind, it's ok I guess but a little intuitive in places, especially when it comes to drop box syncing.
Mind jet kept giving me an error when I tried to register so I can't even test it.
Thanks for the suggestions so far though

Connected Mind looks halfway decent, but it's $2.99 and I didn't see a trial. Supports lots of shapes, image import, etc.

Mind mapping tool
I currently use DropMind a great mind mapping tool, it's very intuitive, easy to use and it's FREE.

Not seeing that in the play store even when searching from play.google.com - could you provide a link if it is in the play store? When I tried it as "dropmind" nothing and as "drop mind" it comes up with SimpleMind which has a free and paid version.
DropMind doesn't have an android app. You can connect to their service for free with the browser. Not a good option if you have a wi-fi only tablet like me.

Mind Mapping Apps development
There are two mind mapping apps made for android smart phones.first is Mind Map Memo and the second one is the Thinking Space. These apps supports some functionality such as add and rearrange topics, attach notes to topics and attach hyperlinks to topics.

Kno Textbook app opinions.

I'm not a student. But I've done some experimenting with Kno. The thing I'm liking is that it's use of an overlay rather than annotating PDFs directly allows taking notes even with secured PDFs. The down side is it seems to lose the existing index when it imports.
I've been looking for the appropriate folders to add to foldersync so I can back things up. Not sure I've found everything.
Who has used this extensively? Any cautions?

This thread is for you
Why do you need 1k followers. What's wrong with people just liking your page if they want to instead of loads of randoms liking like whores lol

Neutrino is the best app I've used from the play store
