Facebook / Twitter App - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

I have tried about every app out there for Facebook and Twitter. I really love Scope, but it hasn't been working properly lately with Facebook. I started with TweetDeck/TweakDeck and it is nice but Scope is better in my opinion. Plume, Sesmic, Uber, all are nice but lack in merged timeline with both Facebook and Twitter. Sesmic has the function but will not remember the place and development is now dead with that app. There are a couple new ones out there like KeepApp and SocialWorld, but they are not very polished yet.
I like Scope when it works with Facebook notifications, but that hasn't worked in a month or so. It lacks in being able to follow hash tags like TweakDeck/TweetDeck, so it isn't a complete replacement for me, but as close as I can find.
Just curious what everyone is using for both social networks, and what you like and don't like about it.

No comments..... Didn't think I would be the only one that is picky.

I used Tweetdeck a couple years ago and liked it but I've been using both the official FB and Twitter apps for a while now. Never really had any problems with them so that is what I stick with. I actually changed over to the official Twitter app because it had push notifications.

I like tinfoil for Facebook. Very light weight and work for me.

So much for tweetdeck, goes by by in May along with the v1.0 API it uses to work.... Wonder how that affects other Twitter apps?

App to post Google+, Facebook, twitter at once

Hey guys, i am looking for an app to post Google+, Facebook, twitter at once.
I find it very odd that none of them do this. Do you know of one that does?
I am checking out tweetdeck but it supports Google buzz and not Google+. Is that one and the same?
Thanks for your help.
I don't think there's any the blast to Google+ yet, but I use "SocialBlast" which does what you want. One post sends to twitter, Facebook, linkedin, and a few others, just not Google+ yet. It even does pics!
I use the paid version to support the delevopers.

I'm in the same boat as you. I love TweetDeck, but posting to Google Buzz there does not show up in my Google+ stream. I've been looking for months now for an app to do this and I'm seriously considering writing one myself! I'll post back here if I do or if I find an app that works, please do the same!
Google recently released the code for 3rd party apps, so some should start popping up.
Shootin virus infected silver needles
Wow, that would be exactly what I'm looking for. No real need for twitter, but posting to Google+ as well as Facebook at the same time would be awesome.
Regards,
Becksman
I apologize for the necropost, but I was wondering if anyone has found an app like this yet. I've found a few that can post individually, but none that do all at once.
Anyone ambitious to tackle this challenge?
I don't believe the proper apis have been released to be able to post to Google + from am outside app. If I'm not mistaken

+1 I really want this I have been looking for a while.
Huston we got a problem xD
But HEY there is great coders out there So it might come. Maybe either the TweetDeck OR the HootSuite team is working on it right now
Hopefully we get one soon!
There's plent of apps out there...but none include Google+. There's still no public API. Google is gona miss the boat with Google+ if they don't allow 3rd party development quick.
Your best bet would be to use your app of choice for fb, g+, or twitter, and using that app in combination with http://ifttt.com you can simultaneously post to all 3 of those social networks (and then some) at the same time. i have mine set up now to post to facebook, then ifttt posts that update to twitter and g+ for me.

Sadly this report (hootsuite g+ support) is incorrect. Been using 3 widgets for about a year now.
Used to use TweetDeck and liked it, but it would always crash because the cache would get too large when only using it for posts and never to check actual feeds

looks like theres a hole in the market......anything new on this ?
it seems somehow that nobody is really interested in making G+ apps.

Social Networker

I have read several threads complaining about the Facebook app and that people prefer the mobile site. But if you stay signed in on the app or the site, you might get hacked. So I made this browser to hide your social activity on your phone. Obviously because it's the mobile site there are no notifications or anything, but for those that aren't concerned with that, perhaps this will work for you. I know people who get hacked often. Figured this sounded like a good idea.

So what does everyone use to text people?

So just wanted to see what everyone used to text other people on a day to day basis and also why they choose to use their choice of texting app. I for one use the stock messaging app that came with the phone. The reason being that since the GS4 is un able to use lockscreen widgets while having a passcode on it I love having the stock messaging app notify me as to who texted me and how many text I have with just a quick glance.
I use messaging app packaged in Task's AOKP. It's simple, has emoji support, is a dark, inverted theme and has quick reply.
Sms popup in the playstore. It adds quick reply to the stock messaging app

This sounds like a question to me. Probably should post it in the q&a section next time.

It's a poll and kind of an open thread about texting apps. Not really the same as Q&A just because it ends with a question mark.

Well I have always had the idea that the Q &A section was more towards general assistance to a problem for example the question would be "I have a media storage drain how do i fix it?" and the answer would be " perform x and y task and you will be all set" This is just a general poll about what people are using. I am not asking for advice as to what texting app I should use but just more so curious as to what people in general are using. Does that make any sense?
No m8, you are asking a question no matter how u try & dress it up & make it pretty. Belongs ib the Q&A thread

Frankly, I don't really care one way or the other. I'd say let the mods sort it out. I was just saying, cause I was bored. Carry on. No harm, no foul

Regardless of whether it's a question or a poll, the topic is about apps, which means it should've been posted in the Themes & Apps section along with all the other threads discussing apps.

I've been using Go Sms Pro but kinda bored with it. Looking to use something else or just stick with stock messaging.

I really like this one too. I used his AOKP on my s2, but for now on my s4 i've just been using stock apps until i decide whether or not any of the sammy s/w features (esp camera) are helpful enough to keep for a while.
Go SMS Pro has always been my choice.

I'm used to handcent and the lock screen popup works well. I just wish I could send multiple pics in mms.
Actually you can ask questions in general. And about apps too. Or hardware or Roms or even accessories. If its to discuss them and poll people about it then it most certainly belongs here in general and not in the other areas.

Best Mailbox Alternative for Android?

I recently discovered this app called Boomerang and it seems a pretty close alternative to the OVERHYPED Mailbox app for iPhone.
Have any of you guys tried the boomerang app? Is it as good as Mailbox? Does it deserve more hype?
Learn more about the Boomerang app here:

Looks promising only drawback for me is it doesn't have support for exchange yet.

Well it is Gmail only for now but I expect support for other mail services and exchange is coming soon.
K9 Mail is great. I have been using it for some time now and don't have any problems with it. It supports multiple accounts and also has a unified inbox which is really useful.
What is so great about Apple mailbox? My mother has it and I thought it was lame

not the Apple Mail app, but the Mailbox app
i use gmail, i also have a yahoo mail account that i sometimes use, but their app is not as good as gmail
(i tend to use official apps, not apps from third party)
Having come from iOS, this is one of the few apps I miss. This and Sunrise. Apparently there is a version in the works for Android. I don't get why people are so lazy with android apps? Are they much harder to create or something?
I've been using K9 mail ever since I began using android devices and it has never steered me wrong. I am able to manager 3 gmail accounts and 1 hotmail account flawlessly.

Do you keep your personal and developer Google accounts separated?

First of all, I'm quite new here and I hope to have posted in the correct forum, in case I haven't, I'm sorry and hope a moderator could move it to the right place.
I think many of you have a personal Google account for things like Gmail, G+, YouTube and so on, but, at the same time, you're registered to things linked to your dev activity, such as the developer console or Admob.
What do you do? Do you have everything under a single account or you keep 'em separated? What are the pro's and the con's?
