Just yesterday, I flashed my pico to JaggyROM v2.8. Before that, I had backed up my phone and saved the .IMG files to my PC.
Now what steps should I follow to extract the messages and contacts from the back up?
If that's not possible, how can I revert back to this stock ROM? & which free apps are there to back up messages and contacts and transfer them to new ROM? (I am already using Titanium for apps).
JaggyRom v2.8 is giving me problem regarding incoming calls. The phone switches off after call ends. But no problem regarding outgoing calls.
Which ROMs would you guys suggest? Please suggest most stable release.
And finally can anyone tell me how to overclock my phone?

I got my contacts and texts back. I've installed Super Backup to avoid such problem in future.
Now which ROMs would you guys suggest? Please mention stable version.

Polar opposites bud, root EXPLORER is a file manager that can browse the phones internal files where ROM manager gives easy access to ROMS and easy flashing of recoveries

Ok so I'm kinda a noob when it comes to
flashing Roms but I've done it a couple of times on my X and always tired using titanium backup and I couldn't get it to work. I would back up all app and system data and when I went to restore it on a new Rom my messages wouldn't transfer and neither would my other app data and the apps would fc. Can someone plz help me out on a walkthrough on how to use Tb or maybe tell me what I did wrong?

I remember an option in Samsung phone, that if the sensor in the phone feel it's placed in a pocket it's going to sleep,
maybe the ear cover the sensor and then gonig to sleep,
search for this option, more probably within TouchWizz options.
Good luck.

I wiped everything, I installed ICS Xperia-ROM and now everything works fine. All ROMs I've installed based JB 4.1.2. I do the same mistake again, interrupting my calls. Why?

I am not sure about viper but whatsapp I can confirm works perfectly on my rom, pac man.. maybe try to reinstall the rom and see if it works then . Also you can post this on viper development and see if anyone has a fix or knows how to get it working. I wish I could be of more help. Best wishes.

I use Whatsapp all the time with Viper and no problems at all. So it's not the ROMs fault

Hi. I'm using ViperS 1.6.0 and KI am having problems with receiving WhatsApp messages. Sometimes, they only come through whilst the screen is on. Other times, they don't come through or come really late. Any ideas?

Hey im using xperialized rom by gnexus which is based on miui v4 by you. i actly uninstalled the miui home launcher using titanium backup and now i want to reintall it. i tried extracting the apk from the rom zip file and installing it but it says application not installed. can u plz help me out as to how to reinstall it?
btw it was a system apk i had not converted it to user apk..... so its saying tht its already installed and do u want to replace it. i pressed yes but thn it says application not installed.... thanks in advance
Just reflash the rom, It's not necessary to wipe everythin, it should be ok.

So i wont lose any of the installed apks and their data?
edit: hey i got it..... i pasted the launcher in the system/app folder and set the permissions and then after restarting it works on its own! i was trying to install it but its not reqd.....
