Hey im using xperialized rom by gnexus which is based on miui v4 by you. i actly uninstalled the miui home launcher using titanium backup and now i want to reintall it. i tried extracting the apk from the rom zip file and installing it but it says application not installed. can u plz help me out as to how to reinstall it?
btw it was a system apk i had not converted it to user apk..... so its saying tht its already installed and do u want to replace it. i pressed yes but thn it says application not installed.... thanks in advance
Just reflash the rom, It's not necessary to wipe everythin, it should be ok.

So i wont lose any of the installed apks and their data?
edit: hey i got it..... i pasted the launcher in the system/app folder and set the permissions and then after restarting it works on its own! i was trying to install it but its not reqd.....

you also need to have system mounted as read-write, default is read-only.
Some idea of what this does would be good. I mean what added functionality does it bring, extra camera functions, etc,etc. What is the benefit of flashing this?

Umm, It has better functionalities over the sense 3.0 cam, main is the GUI, whch is very attractive.

The one that comes with Virtous Unity.
I think it is the Unity V9?
anyway it is the one delivered with the ROM.

i try to install this htccamera v4, but it failed, then i remove original camera, then try to install again. It suceed.
But the program won't run, it keeps giving me force close.
now, i can not restore my original htccamera v3. ( i already backup with titanium, but i don't know, i can't find my backup).
so please could you help me uploading the original v3.

it SOLVED,
1. i download old custom ROM ZORBA
2. pull out htccamera.apk
3. do adb push to system/app
4. do chmod 644 to htccamera
now it works fine now

actually, jhonny1525 posted this, first of all, to avoid the hastle and time invloved in downloading a rom..
if u have fast enough internet or some spare time, then u can do it for him
If that's the case, I have both of this things, so jhonny1525, say what, from which rom do you need, basically by my thoughts this are 'roise.apk' (or something similar) and I believe you need the 'frameworkres.apk'. So OP, just tell from which rom you wan't it.
But to port sense 4 from explorer is bad idea, better get those files from desire c or sensation, cos explorer's sense 4 is port from desire c altogether, if you wan't sense 3.5 that's something different.

Ok, that's the spirit, now look it is sense(which I don't like) and have no idea which particular files are needed for port, so if you need something else in the progress, do tell.

i last night install pandora kernel v2
result:
dont have wifi toggel sometimes wifi dont on and i go to dev tools and enalbe or disble wifi and work wifi
sometime gps dont work if reboot pico gps work
in pandora kernel for cm9 write have v1 but i install v2 think this is problm ?
It's possible, give a try to V1, you know that for flashing a kernel you don't need to wipe things, just flash it and give it a try, whichever works best for you, just in case make a backup first.
And about the thread name I didn't meant that there was a typo, I was thinking to make it more.......... something about your problem, normally almost nobody checks threads whit this kind of title(honestly I don't either but I was really bored the other day)

Each and every ROM has some one or more issue(s) starting for CM9.1, CM10, CM10.1, in every build.
If you know any CM ROM/build without any issues, please let me know.

Wifi is fixed in aries kernels by sakindia.
For me minicm 9 is bugfree.
