any question is in here right? haha
What version of CWM recovery is in this? Maybe raver or someone who's flashed this can tell me.
Sent from my SGH-T959V
It uses TWRP as the thread title states.
Nice work Raver!
For those not familiar with the Aroma installer, there are some good options in the "Advanced" screen. For example, I don't know if Audiophile ICS preserves /data by default when flashing. Aroma lets you back it up during the install process.
If you have a modem that you prefer to the KJ6 modem that is bundled with this ROM, you may want to use the Advanced settings to disable the modem flash.
Additionally, TWRP will let you stack zips, so you can, for example, flash in one pass:
ROM
gapps
Your own modifications in a zip
Kudos to Raver for not packaging gapps and obeying the licensing requirements imposed by Google.

you can just install if you want to keep anything do the custom install and then click backup data/restore data so it keeps your files in tact ... it will auto format system data cache for you
you will need to download a gapps package do to the fact i cannot include it in the rom itself i dont have a link for one but i think there is one floating around here.
ok i went to install the rom and my phone just resets
check md5 of your download if it matches try a reflash.

Definitely a fun ROM!
I just noticed that Droid48 doesn't scale well to the "mini-tablet" format, but that is likely an app problem, not a ROM problem. Still totally usable, just funny to see the little calculator buttons and labels.
SuperUser didn't update properly for me through Play -- I'll see if I can reproduce later on.

When you say "Go to CWM" how do I do that exactly? Same with clearing the data/cache/dalvik?
Open up rom manager and select second option reboot into recovery. and there will be options in cwm about clearing data/cache and under advance you can clear dalvik.

After installing, do this then you're all set:
1. Click "Full Driver Installation Guide - Automatic + Manual" then follow the instructions carefully.
2. In step 2, choose and click "PdaNet Drivers"
3. Follow all instructions, then click "Full Driver Test", you'll see a success message if you did everything right.
4. Go back to main program window, then click "Unlock". Make sure to backup your device because this will wipe everything in it.
5. Tick the "Custom Recovery" box under Root menu then click "Root".
6. Done. Stand up and shout "YEAAAA!!!"

If you're gonna stick to Stock 4.1.2 ROM, i recommend using either of these two:
_thalamus kernel: LINK (Reuploaded because thalamus removed it)
FloHimself Stock kernel: LINK (This has a few more features but still closer to stock. Can be activated via NSTools)

If you can still boot to recovery you can easily fix this.
Download any ROM
Reboot to recovery
In mount:
-format system
-format data
-format cache
-mount usb
Copy your ROM to your phone.
Safely dismount USB on your computer
Unmount USB
Flash the ROM you downloaded
Reboot
Enjoy.
Edit: actually, you need a kernel with support for stock, which i provide in my marmite thread.

If you can get into CWM can't you flash a different recovery, maybe TWRP, then flash a good ROM? I'm a fan of the OMNIROM Kit Kat 4.4.2, but there's lots to choose from.
I had trouble installing ROMs from CWM, but all that resolved with TWRP. I used 2.7.0.1 of TWRP, by the way.
Good luck, and report back.
Marc
Update to latest twrp (I prefer philz advanced recovery, myself) and try flashing again.
Oh, and if possible use a different ROM file as your download may have been corrupted.

Read my last post. Use a different ROM then. There are plenty to choose from.
To be clear what you need to do is use the CWM you have to install A DIFFERENT recovery, one more compatible with a lot of the current custom ROMs. I have used TWRP so for example:
1. Boot to CWM with TWRP package on your microSD
2. Flash TWRP
3. Reboot into recovery... CWM will be gone and you will have TWRP instead
4. In Twrp Wipe caches and format system
5. Still In Twrp, Flash ROM of your choice from ROM downloaded onto your microsd
6. Reboot system and give it time.
Let us know how it goes!
Thank you everyone
Thank You Thanx a lot for helping me guys

if you want more clarification on how to install it properly, im sure there is a twrp thread in the n4 forum which will provide instructions to install it.

while i agree people need to learn how to do it the right way, i am well versed in adb and fastboot, but i have use wugs forever and never had an issue.
i have to believe most of the problems come from user error, which the same could be said for manual installs. wug makes a solid tool and has put a ridiculous amount of work into it.
however, im not sure if it can install a custom rom, regardless, if you cant flash a zip without a tool, you shouldnt be modding anything, i def agree with that

I've gotten version 2 and 3 to boot on my J7, but the same issues showed in both releases. And yes you have to flash the kernel. Slight differences in the J700F/M/H and our T variant. This is why the Enigma Rom and CM13 (or any other kernel specific build) will never flash and boot without some internal tweaking.

Make a Nandroid before you flash it, just to be safe. If it works just hit the thanks button bro, good luck.

Try this. Take your external SD card and put it in your tablet. Go to Messi's thread for the max kernel in J7T development and download the boot.img not the boot.tar.md5. Finish the download then extract the zip in your external SD card. Put your SD card in your phone, boot into TWRP. Now mount system, cache, art/dalvik, data and internal storage (you may need to format data to access data) now wipe them. Don't wipe your external SD card, so make sure it's not mounted in TWRP. After the wipe mount your external SD, flash the rom, then flash boot.img and tick Boot not recovery before the flash. Reboot and wait. Let me know if it helped man.

If you download the boot.img you won't need Odin. But I prefer flashing tars personally, your choice. It should boot for you bro.
Hey thanks bro I finally got it I figured out what I was doing wrong I never flashed the boot img and is the wifi not working on V2

Glad you got it bro and no the Wi-Fi doesn't work on any of the 3 versions.
Yeah thanks for everu8amd what else roms have you tried and will I have to always flash that kernel when I try to install a roms on this phone or was that only for the note roms
Wi-Fi fix , you just need to get the files from the stock ROM in system, etc. And delete all the files in note 7 folder and put the ones you copy from the stock ROM in that same folder you just delete the Wi-Fi files out of
And Reboot I reboot to recovery and advance wipe click dalvic and cliche
