Are you sure that Middle East ICS update will work for INDIA version also, because after checking the zip it shows Blur_Version.55.28.37.MB865.MERetail.en.06_672.1.18.en.06.
However i have 55.1.27.MB865.AsiaRetail.en version which totally mismatch with handset details i have.. please assure else we will end up with the Phone issue and i dont want to take risk on that.. kindly confirm the same.

A CWM backup will only work if you are currently on ICS. This will not work if you want to upgrade from GB. If you wish to upgrade from GB you MUST install this through factory recovery as the ICS update also has new kernel tweaks and such which aren't saved in a CWM backup.
You will most likely brick if you try to install CWM backup of ICS while on gingerbread.
Be careful here guys.

I would test almost anything if it was mb ics sorry.....Can not help with this one.....
Is this ics rom give some info
anyone tested it yet?
Theres no need to. In fact ANY ics rom now or in the future that contains "ME865" in it will not work for our AT&T MB865 phones.
The only time these ME865 ics roms will work is after we obtain ICS MB865.
Just like now how we can use ME865 gingerbread roms (not the fxz's with kernel, but system.img in conjunction with our kernel) because we already have gingerbread mb865 kernel and our mb865 Kernel works with me865 roms.
For ics itll be the same deal,we need to be running mb865 ics kernel already before installation of an me865 ics rom.a kernel which we dont have yet as theres no mb865 ics leaks yet.
Hope this help clears up any confusion on this issue.

If i'm not mistaken this phone uses the amss.bin as well so i would suggest not to , let me look into modem flashing as no roms come with modem flashing atm because we need to see where/how to flash them. Wouldn't want you to brick

In Odin, Phone refers to the baseband/modem version.

[Q] Convert MB865 to ME865

Hi pels, i got an Atrix 2 MB865 international. I mean, not-AT&T
So, i was trying to convert it to ME865 to flash MIUI, and also, have the 4GB internal storage.
So, if i flash an ME865 firm into my MB865, will this convert the model of the phone?
In case of flash the firm, i will flash one of these firms, The retail china, or The retail Hong Kong:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1934874
A person that i just met on Internet told me that he did that, but, i don't know if i can trust him.
Btw, in case that i want back to ICS, what should i do with that fxz? I don't know how to use it. The first time, when i installed miui, and want to go back to ics i flashed de ics leak, but that hard bricked my phone. And i have to pay to they can fix my phone. They changed the motherboard. Or at least that what they told me.

I can't install it. I flashed de firm with RSD. The phone reboot, everything ok. Starts the boot animation, the 'M' logo, with the waves. Then, the animation stop, and the 'M' logo is static. And, stays like that. I left the phone for a while, because i know the first boot takes a litte bit more time, than the other ones. But, i left it like 10 minutes, and nothing happens.

Every time I try to flash the China firmware, it just fails the flash damn near instantly. Do I need a specific version of RSDLite or something? If possible, could someone link me to everything I need? (except the firmware, the OP posted that )
I don't know if it matters or not, my atrix 2 is the at&t variant.

[ROM][ICS][UCLI3][09-NOV-2012] Stock odexed & deodexed UNTOUCHED

This is NOT a Custom ROM
Please do NOT ask for MODS or any such nonsense
What is it?
Click to collapse
It is the official ICS AT&T update from OCT, 2012, UCLI3. I have just packaged two versions odexed and deodexed, you can choose to install whichever one you wish. Please choose only one.
It is untouched and requires full data wipe/system wipe. No root or busybox, see downloads for those.
I have provided these for those who like to run the official ATT/Samsung Stock offering.
Radio

This will update the radio to UCLI3.
Kernel

This will also update the to the stock UCLI3 Kernel (3.0.8-1127534). If you wish init.d support and boot-animation, see the downloads section for the modified ucli3 boot image. Please do NOT ask for bln and other non-sense. You can use my custom kernel Cymbaline for that.
Why odexed version?

You would need the odexed version (along with the recovery, separate download) to recieve any updates.

ʘ You would need clockwork mod recovery already installed. I have ONLY verified with the touch recovery. Please DO NOT complain if whatever recovery you are using cannot flash this properly. I will ignore all those posts.
ʘ ALWAYS ALWAYS check the md5sum.
ʘ Make sure you do a Nandroid backup, so you can restore your previous ROM. If you don't know what this means. STOP. I repeat for christ's sake STOP, you should not be flashing anything.

This is pretty simple.
- Make sure you download the ROM to the phone. (and any other add-ons).
- Backup. Backup.
- Verify md5sum.
- Boot into CWM recovery.
- Format System.
- Wipe Data and Cache Partition.
- Select the downloaded zip.
- Install.
- [OPTIONAL] If you want root. Install the su-busybox zip in the Downloads section. YOU WOULD STILL NEED TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL AFTER BOOT SuperSU or Superuser from PLAY STORE.
- [OPTIONAL] If you want the modified boot-image to support boot anim and other init.d functionality (you need busybox see above, for this). Flash the modified kernel/boot-image zip from the downloads.
- Boot and wait for at least 5-10 minutes.

Pulled the modem and tried it. Data seems to be stuck on 3G even though I am in Seattle with 4G. Calls sound so-so, not great and not bad either. Data works, tested using web browser to open a web page.
Try at your own risk, make sure you've got a backup and know how to reflash your previous modem if needed.

Seems the 3g thing was temporary, had 4g all day today.

International Users Please Read

Since there is an international and US version out you guys/gals will be getting OTAs long before us ATT users. If you ever get a notification that you have an update available please let us know here and we will help you pull the OTA. Many reasons we need it. Mainly so when an RUU drops we can decompile it.
OTA is being pushed out to international users. Please let me know when you get the notification

If you are interested in flashing it you must be almost fully stock. As in not flashed the stock rooted odex. If you haven't flashed any roms or kernel then you can just open this zip then open firmware.zip and extract the recovery.img from the zip and fastboot flash recovery recovery.img. then you will be able to run the ota
