Hi Everyone

So here is the app only released on market yesterday.

Fellow XDA Users!
I have set up a mail system hosted by Google with the domain name 'mailtomymobile.com'.
You can have an account there if you'd like one - it's based on Googlemail, so you get all the features ofGmail - large disk capacity, full web access, forwarding, spam filtering etc, and of course, you can access it via POP3 or preferably IMAP on your XDA.
There is a limit of 500 user acocunts available beyond which it is not financially viable... if you'd like an acocunt, I'm asking for a one-off donation for setup of £10 (20 USD)... some of the funds generated will be donated to this site and xdasite.com to contribute towards running costs. PrivateMessage me or email [email protected] with the username you require and a secondary email address where the login information etc can be sent, and I'll get back to you with more details. Usernames are, of course, first come, first served.

Perhaps I'm missing something...what advantage (other than the domain name) does this give someone over a normal gmail account or a gmail account forwarded to a free mail2web.com account if they want "push" email? Those are free where yours is not and there is the added risk of having your email administered by an unknown person.
Hello,
I recently purchased a domain for my computer repair business. I decided to host my email from Google apps free, as i don't have 8 employees.... Any way i came across this video to walk me through setting it up but i dont have the "SSL Always" option.
I ahve an HTC Evo 4G, running CM7.0.3 with the Tiamat 4.0.5 SBC kernel.
I can send email out from the hosted email account but i cant recieve. the email comes back and reads " This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.
Delivery to the following recipients failed.
[email protected]
Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain.
The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 #5.1.0 Address rejected [email protected] (State 14)"
Ive had no luck cross referencing this. more importantly im wondering why i have no "SSL only" option.
Also i'm using the Mail client not the Gmail client as i cant stand the Gmail Client.

Let me start by saying I do nto want to spend 20$ on Touchdown.
Has anyone used this email app for their corporate emails? I am just wondering how secure it is and how I would talk my director into letting is be used if it keeps getting blocked my gmail as coming from Israel? I did email their support and here is an answer I received.
Dear Customer,
Please login to your Gmail account from PC browser and see if there is a warning about suspicious login attempt. Allow access from our server.
The instructions are inside Google warning.
Then long press on account record on main application screen and choose Send / Receive.
This is not a hacking attempt - it is an attempt of our service to communicate with your account.
Emoze designed to work as client - server. We do not save any information on our servers. They work as smart routers only. All data transferred only when device connects to collect new mail through encrypted tunnel.
If you have additional questions do not hesitate to ask.
I do like some of the options it gives me in Emoze, such as the ability to be notified when i get an email in one of my folders that is under my inbox...I have many folders set and I have rules set to send emails to them, in the stock email app it will not send me a notification when I get emails to those folders.
So, my question is, what are your thoughts on this app and would you use it for work?
Why not use K9 mail with APG encryption?
Send emails without login into your account. Want more? Anonymous emails
You can now send emails without ever login into your account.
Simply enter your email address, receiver's email address, subject and the email body. The app will send the email for you.
If you want to send an anonymous email, you can do it too.
Try it now!

So I have been using Mail2web's PAID push service for the last year and a half or so and it has been pretty reliable. I get push notifications and when I respond, it shows my real address in the FROM field, which is what I want(to use an alternate FROM address) However the last 3 days, I have been unable to send any emails. Everything I send gets BOUNCED by their server(I still can receive emails just fine). Mail2web has been 100% unresponsive to my issue as I placed a ticket 3 days ago but no responses at all, just a generic "We received it" email. I have sent follow ups and nothing from them. I even posted on their forum and nothing. This is a PAID account too, not the free one.
So I am looking for alternatives to their push service. I just want to be able to get push notifications via Exchange and when I send, have the FROM field show my real email address, not the address of the service, so people respond properly. In mail2web's case, it would send via Mail2web's server/email account, but show my @charter.net email address as the person who sent it(so they can respond appropriately).
As for the BOUNCE, what I discovered is that if I send emails with an alternate "From:" email address(instead of the mail2web.com address) set, Softcom's(Mail2web's parent) will BOUNCE the email and not send it with a Callback setup failed message. I have had it set to use a different FROM address since I started using them, so it's been a while, with no issues.
I get the error listed below(I removed the actual email addresses). I use a Charter.net email as the Alternate FROM email.
