does anyone knwo how to change the STATUS BAR background?.. i have tried to change the SystemUI.apk and framwork_res.apk, but it stucked when i replace them to system/apps..it shows me a message again and again "systemUI.apk file has stopped working". if anyone know how to do that correctly plese help me... thank you..

go to your device application data>HTC>Proglauncher>Delete all bmg file>softreset

by deleting the bmg. files i manage to get new icon at quick link BUT some of the icon at quick link still remain unchanged ....... (camera,opera,youtube,htc album,htc message)
can someone give me a better solution???

I have my own rom and I am trying to figure out how to add notification toggles. I dont know what files to replace. I replace system UI and it forcecloses or never boots. And yes I am replacing before I even flashed the rom. Anyone?

hi allz i am new here i come from romania...and my english is bad.... i want to replace status bar from htc explorer with android 4.1.2 Triumph Black Pegasus, to look like 4.4.2 with that switch icon to have 2 status bar menu... anybody know what i need to replace in rom.zip ?? i replaced the framework folder in zip but nothing...
Guys, I want to change only status bar fonts (clock,date,battery,carrier label). Can any body tell me which files should I edit to do this? Or which files should I select to install font for only status bar fonts? I have downloaded some .ttf fonts, but where I should put these? I just want to change the status bar fonts, not whole system fonts.
Any root guide or windows tool guide will be tappreciated.

I've tried to port z2 style battery icon with percentage inside it..
There are no errors in the SystemUI.apk....
But when I push it in system/app and reboot...it shows systemui has stopped working..
Can someone help please...???

can you tell us how do you mod your systemui? I mean steps, are you using apktool or simply changing icons by extracting and rezipping?
