Hi, everyone, I'm new here but I've created a topic for anyone of you can help me.
My Xperial L stopped working after installing the new Cyanogenmod after restarted by CWM, the phone will not turn over, however, CWM lights still work, but when I press the volume buttons together, the lights go out and I can not open the CWM menu to make the recovery of the original ROM.
I tried another method, use fastboot to reinstall CWM, but my computer does not recognize the phone more.
Could anyone help me?

Then don't turn on your phone but try to connect to flashtool.

You should goog to go.
I have try many times, but not appear "The device has connected in Flash mode" menssage.

Guys, I am in desperate need of help to resolve my issue.
I have a T-Mobile Sony Xperia Z3 (D6616). Last night I went to flash Existenz Y in XZ Dual Recovery and when I rebooted the phone does not respond to anything. The ONLY thing I can do is hold down volume down and power and it boots up in the Android recovery screen, but any executed command here the phone just turns itself off. If I put the phone to charge the red LED comes on and the phone just vibrates on and off continuously.
The problem I am having is that for whatever reason the FTF stock file is not showing up in Flash tool. I can't drag it into the flash tool window, and using Xperim in flash tool when I find my model and click on the file nothing happens.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything. I have the stock FTF on hand, as well as the XZ dual recover file, and the existenxz Y .zip file. I just can't for the life of me get flash tool to populate the FTF file in the window when I go to flash?
I have tried using PC companion to fix/repair the phone as well. I connect the phone and it recognizes it but when I click to fix it and the window pops up asking to connect your phone and hit ok, i hit ok and the window just flashes and stays in place. I do nopt know what to do anymore and been without my phone for a day now already. Just need to figure out why the FTF is not showing in flash tool.
Thanks
Edit: Phone was rooted with kingroot, then Supersu was installed to replace kingroot. Root was verified. I am aware that this doesn't unlock the boo tloader on this phone.
I was able to use Flash tool on my Macbook Pro. For whatever reason in windows it's not recognizing the drivers or the stock ROM. So I rooted the Phone again with kingroot, after installing stock ROM, then installed Supersu, then installed XZ Dualrecovery. Wiped the phone, and for the second time installed existenz Y on the phones internal memory. Selected it in recovery, installed it. When In went to reboot the phone it did the same thing again. Not sure why Exiztenz Y is not working for me........
Edit: I restored my Windows laptop to factory settings and re-installed flashtool and now it's working.
I tried to put AOSP 5.1 from FXP in my phone, and my cellphone bricked. It wont turn on, it keeps the Sony Logo 2 seconds. It haven't connection with flashtool. Please Help me.
Hi. Can you give me more information what you did exactly step by step. So maybe i can help you. My E3 was bricked too. I found a solution. But i need more information.
Flash stock rom it'll unbrick it

Thank you answer back! I did exactly the following:
The model is my Xperia E3 D2212 dual sim.
- Unlocked the bootloader,
- CWM installed a custom recovery,
- I reinstalled the original rom,
- I made a backup of the entire system using CWM.
And everything went super normal way, without complications.
The mistake was when he wanted to installing a custom ROM called "AOSP_L_MR1_150718_flamingo" because I found out later that he had not read that it was for ANOTHER XPERIA as follow the you tube tutorial . The ROM's for another Xperia, if I remember correctly.
After doing the installation process of the new AOSP ROM, the phone is less than a minute on the logo of SONY XPERIA down with, looped, can not enter the bootloader, and no longer recognizes the PC. I can not recognize it at FlashTool. I think that's all. :crying:
I greatly appreciate your attention.
I ended up editing this text in the google translator, then I'm sorry, if you are not very good.
Thank you

Could you help me? I can not make the pc recognize him ... He barely turns on and off since. The PC Companion software tells recognize it, but when you are installing the software says "it is not possible for this phone is changed." I can not scessar the bootloader does not give time and it shuts down.
Thanks, my error was with the fastboot driver and adb in flashtool. The Windows drivers wasn't been recognized, I've to install the drivers, all of they. After this, I Flashed the Stcok ROM, installed SuperSU and Restored the backup, everything works fine and fluid now. Thanks, anyway, for encouraging me.
I flashed my D2203 back to factory rom yesterday using Flashtool (flashtool.net/downloads.php) on Windows 7 PC.
How did I do it:
1) Install flashtool
2) Install Flashtool-drivers.exe from flashtool subfolder /drivers and select flashmode and fastboot drivers.
3) Run Flashtool and open XperiFirm (letters XF on logo)
4) Select Xperia E3 Flamingo -> proper D22** you have -> Market -> and select latest release below PayPal logo
5) Press "Download" and wait for download and unpacking
6) Switch off phone (if power on/off button does not respond then open back cover and push "OFF" by using pen)
7) Press and hold volume down button and connect phone to PC using original USB cable
8) Using Flashmode flash device
Hello everyone,
a few days ago I flashed CyanogenMod (CM11 2014/06/06 Unofficial Tapioca) on my Sony XPeria Tipo ST21i. Unfortunately I noticed that the camera wouldn't work on that ROM, so I saw the need to switch.
I tried flashing Gimlo (Firmware for Tipo A4.22 v1.0 as well as Gimlo v2.0) via recovery. It appeared that the installation failed, so I attempted it a few more times. Finally I decided to wipe the /system partition and to re-flash Gimlo again, which now results in the phone falling into bootloop (=soft brick, if I'm not entirely mistaken).
Fortunately my computer (Win7 @ 64Bit) recognizes my phone (phone's blue LED is on). Fastboot does so as well, however ADB does not. However, I heard that I needed ADB to push a ROM onto my phone, which makes me question how I can fix ADB in order to restore my phone? The Android SDK has been installed and I use a USB 2.0 port.
If I forgot to mention something, please let me know. I also excuse me for possible mistakes, I'm new over here.
Thank you all for your help!
Install PC Companion, there's option to repair your phone.
Good Luck.

Thank you for the answer!
I tried to use PC Companion's repair phone functionality, however the process fails with error status 2003; Sony Update Engine Failure: "The phone/table contains modified software that cannot be updated."
Searching for a solution on that, I found out that Flashtool could help here, however it appears to not support the Tipo. Any ideas?
Greetings!

Tipo is supported by Flashtool, you need to download ftf with XperiFirm (it's last icon on right, and it will do all steps for you) and flash it with Flashtool. Im using 0.9.18.6 of Flashtool cos latest maks some problems when flashing older device. install drivers in Flashtool/drivers folder, just fastboot and flashmod.
Good Luck.

Thank you once again.
I downloaded all programs and it appears to have successfully flashed the FTF. I'm charging my phone now and let you know tomorrow whether it actually worked. So far thank you very much already!
Have a nice day!
#Edit:
So this morning I disconnected the phone from the charger and tried to boot it, however there's a red LED flashing now. When connected to the charger, the phone's LED is constantly green, so I assume it is not that the battery's dead.
If it's constantly green it may be in Flashmode and it may not change, remove battery, hold power button for 10 second, reinsert battery then put it on charger. It should charge.

Okay, I thought my battery was fully charged, so I tried re-flashing the firmware which has been aborted. Instead the phone started properly. It's now charging again.
Thank you very much for your help!
I may reply to this thread tomorrow again if I run into troubles while setting up Gimlo - I'll give it yet another shot anyways - so please don't close this thread too soon.
Thank you once again!
Have a nice day!
#Edit:
I managed to successfully flash Gimlo on my phone, and it works great so far! Once more, thank you for the quick and nice help. This thread can now be locked.
hi everybody,
I left my phone charging in the night(it was on) and when i came to take it in the morning (it was off)... i tried to turn it on but it didn't turn on!
(IM USING ORIGINAL SONY CHARGER AND USB THAT CAME WITH IT)
when I plug it in to a charger the LED turns green (that means that the battery is at 90% or above)
i tried power and volume up (hard reset) but it didn't work!
when i connected to my computer it wasn't detected....(tried all USB ports)
Also, i tried to enter Flashmode and Fastboot mode.. and none of them worked!
Xperia companion didn't detect it....
I tried to turn it on several times but it didn't work!
i even tried all buttons combination (power, both volumes ) all together, and nothing worked!
PLEASE HELP ME!!!
please anyone have an idea or any suggestion that might help!
all your suggestions are so much appreciated!
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
I used to be a bit similar to your situation, but its power indicator is not lit. Pressing other buttons did not respond. I also tried to connect it to the computer, but still didn't respond. I had no choice but to send it back to the after-sales service. The response I got was that the power IC was damaged.

doesnt seem like something that can be fixed on a software level, you need to send it to sony to fix it if youre under warranty.

It's a long story, but bought an XZ from Toby Deals ( never ever use those rip off merchants ).
Decided not to want to turn on just before the year warranty ran out. Red flashing LED whilst charging, white Sony screen comes up, then goes off again, repeats ad infinitum. Obviously tried all the usual volume up/power button resets and this actually responds with the one buzz/three buzz response. Original charger and even a brand new battery - no change.
Didn't want to send back to Singapore, so tried Sony support who advised to send to Sony UK repair center.
I sent it in, came back as 'can't repair due to non UK model'.
Advised Sony on line support again, who promised me it would be looked at if sent in again.
Did that and they sent it back repaired and working ( no hardware ) - reflashed ?? Happy for three days.
Same thing happened after three days / same symptoms as before
Sent in again, sent back as 'non UK model' again. Started to cry
Informed Toby Deals who now don't want to know, as now a few moths past warranty expiry date.
Now I have a bricked expensive phone and have had since January. What a waste of money.
All I want to do, is whatever Sony UK repairers did in their factory.
No detection on PC and Companion either, which I feel is a big problem for any reflashing ideas.
Any ideas anybody please ?

Your phone is still booting, so the boot partition is still ok.
Download newflasher.
Install the Sony ADB drivers, to do this you will need to boot your Windows10 into safe mode and use 'driver signing disabled'
Read up on Xperiafirm, download the latest firmware for your region.
Put a copy of the Newflasher into the firmware download folder.
Unplug your phone from the PC.
Turn your phone off completely Power and Vol up (+) until it vibrates three times.
Run the newflasher and when prompted, plug your phone back in while holding the Volume up (+). Once the process has started you can let go.
Good luck
If you see any led light , try to use pc companion ( if your phone is not unlocked ) and if you have unlocked bootloader try to use xperifix to download the latest software for your phone and then flash it using newflasher ( don't forget to have the Sony USB drivers on your computer ) pls tell us if it works to find another way to fix your smartphone.

Thanks for the info Didgesteve.
I am running through this now, but the firmware within Xperiafirm is a little light on the F8332 version ( dual sim ).
The single sim F8331 has lots more options including one for UK Virgin Mobile, which could be mine. The only other option for the 8332 is the Central Europe 1 CE1 option, which I don't think it is. Any advice please ? I am trying to find it on the Sony site, as @IgorEisberg states "XZ F8331 and F8332 are on the sony server now"

It doesn't matter which region you have as long as the model number is the same, it's not locked to any language. The language can be chosen on start up, from a fresh install.
Central Europe 1 CE1 will be just fine.

I am using Windows 10 and when I requested recovery reboot, it does give me a safe boot option ( option 5 I think ), but it also gives me a 'disable driver signing' option too and you can't opt for both.
I have actually tried to boot in both modes and the newflasher does the same thing - see attached screenshot
Not sure what more I can do, to get these drivers on. I have also run in developer mode and set USB device discovery to on, to no avail.
If device manager never sees the phone, how will I ever be able to install the drivers.
The newflasher, asks to install Gordongate and it doesn't matter if I select yes or no, it still says no usb device.
I am running newflasher from here :
C:\Xperia firmware\F8332_Customized CE1_1315-4550_41.3.A.2.171_R1E
...........but I have tried to run it from the driver folder too.
I am stuck. If I can send it to you, please PM me !

Windows10, boot into safe mode, choose 'disable driver signing' in the advanced menu, start the computer and install the Sony drivers. If that doesn't work, answering yes to the first question in Newflasher creates a new drivers zip folder within the Newfalsher folder. Install these drivers, again with driver signing disabled.
When you put the phone into flash mode and plug it in to your PC, what does it say in the device manager?

Thanks for your reply Didgesteve.
I installed the drivers by installing the sa0115adb.inf successfully, but as the phone is continuously cycling through a 'Sony' white screen and blank screen ( frequency 3secs of each ), device manager does not seem to 'see' anything at all.
I also installed the ggsommc.inf driver, when prompted and answered as a 'ye's for the GordonGate option. It didn't give me a failure message, but also didn't state 'installed successfully' as the sa0115adb one did.
I also tried another generic driver called android_winusb.inf to no avail.
