Anyone come across this problem? I can download free items fine but if I try to buy something, I get this error.
I've been searching for a solution all day and finally decided to post here hoping someone will be able to help.
Just got my Transformer today, loving it so far. Downloaded the latest version of Netflix. After entering username and password I get "There is a problem connecting to Netflix. Please try again later (13001)."
Tried uninstalling, reinstalling, older versions, the version that comes on the TF, google searches for the error turn up nothing. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.
Edit: Netflix connects fine on my PS3, iPod Touch and PC.
Netflix error - solution found
I had the same problem and just found the solution.
Go to your IPod Touch settings, find Netflix app and put reset on.
Log on with Android device and it should now work.
Good luck!
Gonna try this right now. (Soon as my iPod gets enough of a charge to turn on, haven't touched it since I got my android device.) Will post back with an update asap.
Update: It's alive! Thanks alot for the info. Now if I could only get it to use the tablet UI.
I have purchased some movies from Google play and I am unable to play them on my tablet. Has anyone else had this problem? I had tried both downloading and streaming and I only get the loading circle. Sometimes I will get an error message or the app will stop playing, recently I even had a forced reboot of the device. I have tried playing them on the computer and on my phone and they work just fine. Hope someone has a solution.

There are already threads about this, use the search button.
I myself even reported this to Google, as have others.. I went through their entire trouble shooting process, submitted logs, everything.. and they basically gave me the cold shoulder.
They do not care whatsoever and are not offering any fix or estimated fix date. I know several people have gotten refunds when they press the issue with Google but do not expect them to fix the app.
Bottom line is they don't care since there's not enough Tab 2 users.
My wife just pruchased a Noria tablet and is having trouble downloading apps and games.
I set her up so that she can connect to our wifi, got her into Google Play store, but she keeps getting an error message, something like "Error retrieving date from ...."
I even tried it several times, and get the same message.
I am NOT a programmer, Hacker or even a computer Geek (all used with utmost Respect) but I am fairly tech knowledgable.
I know that the wifi is working, as I downloaded the same files to my HTC One X Android phone, but still nothing to her tablet.
Any ideas?
I have a Nexus 4 and followed the tutorial on how to get things working on it in regards to the gear. Most of the stuff works now but i have an odd issue with s-voice:
When i open it on the gear, it will run, but the first time i run it after a restart, the phone shows an error: "Unable to get VoiceEngineWrapper"
On the gear, the voice sounds distorted and pitched with some weird echo. It also replies with "I didn't catch that" to whatever command i give it.
I tried to google the error i'm getting on the phone since i'm assuming it's connected, but nothing comes up. I was trying to get the google now voice engine to replace the s-voice tts since i've heard it can be done but i can't find any info on how to do it. Only thing i found was settings-tts-download us voice and set it as default.
If anyone smarter than me has some ideas on what in the world that error means or what else to try, I would appreciate it.
Thanks!

Same issue here. I have searched everywhere and can't seem to find any solutions. I've seen videos of people using s voice on the gear 2 with a nexus 5, but not sure what firmware versions, etc. they are using. Are there any other threads or solutions out there?
