Tango has issues on One X...

Anyone else use Tango and having issues receiving calls? I can get them if I have the app physically open, but can't otherwise. I'm guessing it has to do with the aggressive memory management, as I never had this issue on any of my other android phones.

Bummer...guess no one uses Tango

On my fourth HTC one x. Should I switch?

As the title says I am on my fourth HTC one x and getting tired of the bugs and screen defects I have had with the phone. How much of a difference would the SGS2 skyrocket be? Should I get another one x or go the skyrocket route?

I would suggest going to a skyrocket if you are having this kind of luck. The skyrocket may have a slightly different processor. But still 1.5ghz. Skyrocket is still running 2.3.5 out of the box but there are solutions for 4.0.4 already in this forum. Can somebody correct where I'm wrong please.

I hope att will let me do it. Would the speeds be the same?

Data speeds? Web browsing speed?

All of that. I had an original SGS2 but wanted LTE. That's why I originally switched to the HTC one x.
I just want a phone that I can get and use for 2 years without problems lol.

Don't downgrade. The One X is a beautiful device.
The One X will have much better dev support and will actually get Jelly Bean, unlike us.
Really. I come to ask a question and get this.... Lol

is this common with the one x? They have tons of issues or what? I haven't even looked at or considered one due to no sd or removable battery. That's a deal breaker for me
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2
Found that to be a small issue. Storage is segmented between apps and system. Also this is the third screen issue I've had.

I would never even consider getting a one x because it has no external sd or battery. And with all those issues, I would ****can that turd.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2
But what problems with the phone were you having? User error or just HTC?
Had a One X for 2 days. Sold it and purchased the Skyrocket. The One X is slick, I just don't like HTC anymore.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2
Screen went out the last one I had. 12 dead pixels one before it. Camera had a dark spot in every picture before that. First one.screen was red.....so yeah
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA
If u are having that many problems dump the turd, besides u didn't really like dumping a Sammy for a HTC right??? Lol

Not really. Just needed LTE. This phone feels fast but something isn't right about it. Feels too much like an apple product.
How's the battery life on the USGS2 skyrocket? Will it get an official CIS update?

I call BS...AT&T hasn't had the One X in stock for 2 weeks. You're full of it...go play somewhere else.
Should stay on one X. The S4 processor is much more better den the S3 processor in the skyrocket. And S3 indeed, outdated

Just got the phone

Just got the X from AT&T store yesterday and it's great so far
And the point of this thread is.....?
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
Same as the threads that say the phone sucks I presume...

Its in accessories though lol
You mean the phone itself isnt an accesorie?
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
Lmao was too hyped didn't notice
With certain accessories these days, you could easily get one that ends up making the phone the actual accessory.

WiFi tether everytime I use it att gets me

they can't check, data is data. Its just being relayed through your phone. If its rooted and your using a 3rd party app, there is no way for them to know, unless your using excess amounts data, then they might get suspicious
That is completely wrong the data packets received from the computer is 1 less than the phone therefore of your blacklisted they check your data packets and if the 1 less is received they know your tethering

Friend of mine on an unlimited plan almost got bumped to a 5gb plan cause they caught him tethering and listed the IPs of connected devices. Hey may have been using the att tether not a 3rd party, not sure on that.

They are able to see if it's tethered by analyzing data packets that are sent by the phone

Well I guess it's time to stop being cheap and pay for something you use

I don't know if it's being cheap or not, but I never understood how tethering can cost AT&T more if you don't go over your data limit. How you use the 3gb shouldn't determine what you get charged. Just my opinion.

Agreed, I never go over, and if I wanted to tether once in a while, while on the go I should be allowed to. If I go over ny data, I would pay for it.

Anything to rip off the customer, but yet most of us picked them. I'm my area at&t is superior to Verizon, and we don't have sprint, or T-Mobile, so I can't complain much.

Since we're talking about data, I can attest that the data speeds I get in my area on AT&T are so much better than Sprint and Verizon. Don't know about T-mobiIe. I can't ever see leaving unless something strange were to happen.

Doesn't seem that complex. Put Atrix in lapdock, fire up webtop, turn on WiFi, connect to the One X hotspot. Bigger screen and full keyboard, USB mouse, 4G speeds, and the work day will suck a little less.

Looks like you are receiving a call when one of the common dropped mobile data bugs is going on. I'm not having anymore issues after upgrading to 1.88 or 2.09 radio. Give that a try, should fix you up
