Random missed calls - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

I seem to be randomly missing calls even when I have full bars on 4G. Anyone else having this trouble and if so have you found any solutions?

Happens to me too. No solution.

Looks like you are receiving a call when one of the common dropped mobile data bugs is going on. I'm not having anymore issues after upgrading to 1.88 or 2.09 radio. Give that a try, should fix you up

Very low ringtone volume when on wifi?

Has anyone noticed the ringtone volume is very low when connected to WiFi? I've tested with and without WiFi multiple times and it seems to be very low whenever connected.

I haven't but I have noticed when I'm using WiFi calling I get worse call quality. I know its a WiFi quality/speed thing though.

Yea I noticed that too. Sometimes I have to disconnect the call and turn off WiFi calling to make a call..

I would assume that they are Tmo employees.

That would be the only way we have these phones already. Or unless you robbed a T-mobile employee lol. On another note, I do have this same problem as well. I thought I was just going crazy the first couple times it happened.

i have the same problem with ringer volume on WiFi. An update was pushed to my store demo last night during the refresh. I don't know what it was for but maybe it fixes this issue.

Tango has issues on One X...

Anyone else use Tango and having issues receiving calls? I can get them if I have the app physically open, but can't otherwise. I'm guessing it has to do with the aggressive memory management, as I never had this issue on any of my other android phones.

Bummer...guess no one uses Tango

they can't check, data is data. Its just being relayed through your phone. If its rooted and your using a 3rd party app, there is no way for them to know, unless your using excess amounts data, then they might get suspicious
That is completely wrong the data packets received from the computer is 1 less than the phone therefore of your blacklisted they check your data packets and if the 1 less is received they know your tethering

AT&T Tethering Crackdown - Have you been served?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
Friend of mine on an unlimited plan almost got bumped to a 5gb plan cause they caught him tethering and listed the IPs of connected devices. Hey may have been using the att tether not a 3rd party, not sure on that.

They are able to see if it's tethered by analyzing data packets that are sent by the phone

Well I guess it's time to stop being cheap and pay for something you use

I don't know if it's being cheap or not, but I never understood how tethering can cost AT&T more if you don't go over your data limit. How you use the 3gb shouldn't determine what you get charged. Just my opinion.

Agreed, I never go over, and if I wanted to tether once in a while, while on the go I should be allowed to. If I go over ny data, I would pay for it.

Anything to rip off the customer, but yet most of us picked them. I'm my area at&t is superior to Verizon, and we don't have sprint, or T-Mobile, so I can't complain much.

Since we're talking about data, I can attest that the data speeds I get in my area on AT&T are so much better than Sprint and Verizon. Don't know about T-mobiIe. I can't ever see leaving unless something strange were to happen.
Sorry to go off topic.

Doesn't seem that complex. Put Atrix in lapdock, fire up webtop, turn on WiFi, connect to the One X hotspot. Bigger screen and full keyboard, USB mouse, 4G speeds, and the work day will suck a little less.

My One X sms problems

Hey guys, I have a little problem that is quite annoying. I would say about 80% of the time when I get a text I get it more than once, sometimes even three or four times. I had my phone rooted before the 2.2 update and that's all I have done to this phone. I had a captivate which I loaded tons of roms on. So I know a good bit about what I am doing. Any help would be appreciated guys.
Is it the same person?
If its multiple people do they have the same carrier?
Sent from my One X using Tapatalk 2
It's almost everyone who texts me, on all different carriers

Phone automatically restarting and sending old text messages to people

Seriously wtf guys. This is a brand new replacement phone I got a week ago. The phone just restarts and when it reboots it sends old text messages to my friends. It's beyond annoying and now I'm actually mad
Check my thread history to see that this isn't the first time this has happened to me. What's going on?
Running 2.20
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
I've only had this issue when I'm in an area with poor reception, the phone thinks it didn't send it in the first place so it sends again
Have you tried a third party messaging app and disabling the stock one to see if that's the issue?
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
It's a ghost!
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda app-developers app
This has to be an android thing, I got it on my captivate running jelly bean. I usually only had the issue when I did a dirty flash of a ROM. I haven't got it on my one x though. Using a third-party messaging app fixed it for me.
Sent from my HTC One X
Try a factory reset. If that doesn't work return it.
