Tango has issues on One X... - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Anyone else use Tango and having issues receiving calls? I can get them if I have the app physically open, but can't otherwise. I'm guessing it has to do with the aggressive memory management, as I never had this issue on any of my other android phones.

Bummer...guess no one uses Tango

Umm I think you are in the wrong forums. This is for the AT&T/Rogers One X not the International version. I think you are looking for these forums.

Anyone using a different videoplayer on the ONEx?
Noticing some choppy playback on the stock video player in the gallery.
Curious if I should start a separate thread.
Thanks!
Using AirCalc in combination with Notification Toggle. Comes in very handy.

For anyone using tasker, I was looking for some help with a profile since I just started using it. What I have currently: a home profile that controlls WiFi, screen brightness, sound levels etc based on cell towers. My problem: service is spotty. What I want: once WiFi is connected based off of the initial home profile (cell towers) I do not want it to turn off until it loses WiFi signal even if tasker cannot identify that I still at home. Any ideas, and thanks in advance.
Edit: solved and tasker is the best!!!

I'd be interested in that, too - how'd you solve it?
You guys should look up solid explorer. It's a file explorer with some cool options like dual panels and drag and drop support. It also has root access.

Sprint onex

Is the sprint version the same as ours except battery and sd carf slot. Same CPU and gpu right
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
It will also have minor differences to the ROM but everything else is the same. It's ugly as sin.

On my fourth HTC one x. Should I switch?

As the title says I am on my fourth HTC one x and getting tired of the bugs and screen defects I have had with the phone. How much of a difference would the SGS2 skyrocket be? Should I get another one x or go the skyrocket route?

I would suggest going to a skyrocket if you are having this kind of luck. The skyrocket may have a slightly different processor. But still 1.5ghz. Skyrocket is still running 2.3.5 out of the box but there are solutions for 4.0.4 already in this forum. Can somebody correct where I'm wrong please.

Data speeds? Web browsing speed?

All of that. I had an original SGS2 but wanted LTE. That's why I originally switched to the HTC one x.
I just want a phone that I can get and use for 2 years without problems lol.

Don't downgrade. The One X is a beautiful device.
The One X will have much better dev support and will actually get Jelly Bean, unlike us.
Really. I come to ask a question and get this.... Lol

is this common with the one x? They have tons of issues or what? I haven't even looked at or considered one due to no sd or removable battery. That's a deal breaker for me
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2
Found that to be a small issue. Storage is segmented between apps and system. Also this is the third screen issue I've had.

I would never even consider getting a one x because it has no external sd or battery. And with all those issues, I would ****can that turd.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2
But what problems with the phone were you having? User error or just HTC?
Had a One X for 2 days. Sold it and purchased the Skyrocket. The One X is slick, I just don't like HTC anymore.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2
Screen went out the last one I had. 12 dead pixels one before it. Camera had a dark spot in every picture before that. First one.screen was red.....so yeah
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA
If u are having that many problems dump the turd, besides u didn't really like dumping a Sammy for a HTC right??? Lol

Not really. Just needed LTE. This phone feels fast but something isn't right about it. Feels too much like an apple product.
How's the battery life on the USGS2 skyrocket? Will it get an official CIS update?

I call BS...AT&T hasn't had the One X in stock for 2 weeks. You're full of it...go play somewhere else.
Should stay on one X. The S4 processor is much more better den the S3 processor in the skyrocket. And S3 indeed, outdated

Just got the phone

Just got the X from AT&T store yesterday and it's great so far
And the point of this thread is.....?
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
Same as the threads that say the phone sucks I presume...
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
Its in accessories though lol
You mean the phone itself isnt an accesorie?
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
Lmao was too hyped didn't notice
With certain accessories these days, you could easily get one that ends up making the phone the actual accessory.

Phone automatically restarting and sending old text messages to people

Seriously wtf guys. This is a brand new replacement phone I got a week ago. The phone just restarts and when it reboots it sends old text messages to my friends. It's beyond annoying and now I'm actually mad
Check my thread history to see that this isn't the first time this has happened to me. What's going on?
Running 2.20
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
I've only had this issue when I'm in an area with poor reception, the phone thinks it didn't send it in the first place so it sends again
Have you tried a third party messaging app and disabling the stock one to see if that's the issue?
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
It's a ghost!
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda app-developers app
This has to be an android thing, I got it on my captivate running jelly bean. I usually only had the issue when I did a dirty flash of a ROM. I haven't got it on my one x though. Using a third-party messaging app fixed it for me.
Sent from my HTC One X
Try a factory reset. If that doesn't work return it.
