I Think I mighta screwed up bad. Long story short I flashed an interanational rom overtop of a jelly bean rom and my phone wont turn on now. PERIOD. Odin wont even pick it up. Any advice???
I Just found out if I hold volume down and connect it to my computer the led lights up red. Gotta be something I can do

And people like you are the reason the bootloader was locked.
I don't understand how this is even possible. Why would you think it was okay to Install a ROM over top carrier specific phone.
At the very least you could have asked to someone on the forum or created a thread if it could be done before you flashed it

I didn't ask if I messed up. I know I messed up.
I Did my research. I used Odin successfuley to root my phone, flash clockwork and install a10 or so cwm 9 and cwm 10 roms. I screwed my imei up and fixed it myself thru qspt. All I asked for was a simple answer to a simple question.
Thank yo u
I think your missing the point the fact that YOU fubared your phone and then got a replacement tells us all we need to know. End of story lock the thread down.

Does not compute.

if its anything like the epic, just get a usb dongle that will force it into download mode. Also take the battery out for 30 min. I'm proud to have an answer and not just a comment.

It's not an answer. I'll give you an answer, OP: You flashed the wrong ROM. You are now bricked. If you want to be unbricked, send it to a JTAG service http://mobiletechvideos.mybigcommerce.com/
Next time do a little more research. Clearly you missed step 1 which is NEVER FLASH A ROM THAT ISN'T MEANT FOR YOUR PHONE.
You know you guys could just be helpful instead of being very rude.
na do it yourself.

His way isn't a USB dongle. We see this at least 5 times a week in every section for this phone. People flash the wrong ROM (usually international) and they get no life out of it. The only way people have gotten it back was having it JTAGGED.

Instructions:
1. Turn off your phone and pull out the battery for about 10-15 seconds.
2. Just put the battery back and don’t turn it on.
3. Plug the USB Jig into the micro USB port on the phone.
4. After about 2-3 seconds, you can see the yellow download mode logo on the screen.
5. Unplug the USB Jig.
6. Connect your phone with USB cable to computer and then flash your phone via the program “odin”.
I'd try taking your battery out, holding the power button for a few seconds. Then leaving the battery out for 30 min first, before buying one.. I doubt it will work, but I have came out of bricks that way (blew my mind). Still prolly should do that when using the dongle.. MOST EVERY THING can have a dongle put into it, it's what the developers use to foce hardware into manufacturing mode, developer mode, customer mode, clear mem, maint. mode.

Kinda depends .. do you get any sort of responce from the phone at all .. vibration with no screen .. or nothing at all ?
If you have vibration without screen .. YES ..USB JIG will work.
If you have nothing at all .. NO .. will have to go with JTAG.

Thanks sir. Nope, i don't have anything at all. So, jtag is the way to go. By the way, what's the percentage of chances that it can be revived by jtag?

In my opinion, you should have a usb jig if you are going to flash roms. Get one and give it a try. Won't hurt.
From what I read, as long a you get someone that knows what they are doing, using a jtag should be almost a sure thing.
If you're getting no vibration or anything then a jtag is your only solution. A jig is not likely to do anything (though it's worth a try--and you should try making your own--it's really easy to do and they come in really handy anyways).
Assuming your phone isn't water damaged or was dropped hard (meaning it could be a deep hardware issue), then it's damn near certain that a jtag will fix it.
These guys can help you out: http://mobiletechvideos.mybigcommerce.com/samsung-galaxy-s-ii-skyrocket-brick-repair/
Check em out. If they can't fix it you won't get charged full price (take a look at their terms--there is a fee to diagnose it if they're unable to fix it but you wouldn't be paying full price if it didn't work out).
Dear community members, my Infuse is dead I don't know why. It was charging over night and I just want to check the time when I noticed it was unresponsive. I though "I'ts just a SOD" but when I pulled out the battery an pressed the power button nothing happened, three finger trick and nothing...black screen no any light whatsoever even when I connect to my PC it is not recognized. Any Ideas?
I have Dman's Zeus 6 whit Script V6 SuperCharger.
I live in El Salvador and here is no any technical support...PLEASE HELP!!!!
I think it's just passed out :'( and if you think so also, I want to know if any of you have an Infuse for sale. I really love this phone because its big screen and wonderful performance.
Check the battery........if u have multi meter u can check it with that or the best way to check ur battery, Touch the battery pins with ur tongue and see if u feel anything.

That will short circuit the battery and then it WON'T work. Also 4v isn't enough to go across your tongue and feel it.
What will short short circuit ?
Just remove the battery and touch it with ur tongue u can feel the current mate.....don't jump on conclusion without trying it.
Thank you guys! I have tested the battery and is full charged (4.14V). Any other ideas?
I really appreciate your help and concern.

Heimdall technique failed for me..
I dont know what i have done, mistake..
I have done this but without install GB boot loaders...if you carefully see you can read and make almost everything with the rainbows CWM screen...I did it, tested it and then back to Zeus 6 which I think is the perfect ROM for my needs.
I'm too noob to messing around with boot loaders...LOL

i cherged my nexus today an i read on a thread that to calibrate the battery it should be plugged at 100% and then u should turn it off then on and while it boots u should take out the battery. i did it. and now it doesnt boot, not even in fastboot.
some help?
Who said to pull out the battery while booting? It's a dangerous action you may brick your phone. Add I know a lot Chinese users of Nexus S had done this accidentally. Like rebooting without the battery cover when the battery fell off.
And unfortunately I didn't see anyone made their phone back, yet.
Anyway you can search for some threads for saving bricked phone.

you cannot fix a dead boot with any software/USB connection to a PC. A bricked/Dead boot can only be fixed by having a certain hardware called JTAG/RIFF. Check this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iejfuW7XcKA
its a bit high in price between 100-150$, usually repair centers have it and charge 50$ for a fix. I suggest taking your nexus to a repair center and specifically tell them that you have a "DEAD BOOT AND NEED IT FIXED BY JTAG/RIFF"

hi guys,
i seriously think i have the weirdest problem on my nexus 5, i looked for ages for someone with that problem. and didnt find.
ever since i've replaced my screen and my battery (pretty sure it's an original one) every now and than my phone just turns off.
the weird part is, it won't turn on until i plug my phone to the charger.
i can plug it even to one second, and than i can turn my phone back on.
and it won't turn on in any other way!
I have this problem for a long time so i gathered some facts:
* it can happen regardless of how much battery i have. it can happen in 90% and it can happen in 10.% but i did found out it is more likely to happen the less battery i have.
* it happens more when i use stock apps: google search, google maps, camera...
* it happens almost always when i take a picture with the camera , especially if i use flash
* it is more likely to happen if the device is wormer (after a long heavy use...)
* it is also likely to happen if i press the "back" button a lot of times rapidly to go back to home screen
Ask lg
Have you isolated the reverse power flux coupling?
This is not weird. Obviously something went wrong when you replaced battery and or screen.

That's fine, except no one here is going to be able to tell what you did or didn't do when you opened up the device and replaced the battery and screen. There's some very sensitive circuitry in there. Could be anything. Most likely NOT software-related or other folks would be having these same issues. and they're not.
