WP7 Media Player reboots phone 100% of time - Windows Phone 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am running
OS ver 7.10.8779.8
Firmware is 2250.21.51101.401 rev 002
radio ver 5.51.09.29_22.32.50.10U
Radio HW A.12.0D4
with Motorola S305 bluetooth headphone and without failure when ever I try a play list or shuffle all it will play one song, reboot resync head phone then I can play one other song before same process all over again.
2nd issue is when watching videos I can not use bluetooth headphone as it will not push audio though the motorolas it simply ignores the headphones, or if I try the A2DP reg fix it crashes my phone reboots and no musical audio from videos until I change it back. Why is this happening? It has done this on every version I have loaded since the rom beem released for my phone. I have even bought a 2nd HD2 and experienced the same exact problems. Any help on a solution would be greatly appreciated.

Too slow memory card can cause random booting.

I was random rebooting too:
1.I removed SD card.
2.I formatted my SD with my old Nokia N95 phone.
3.then I formatted my SD card with SDFormatter (FULL format not only QUICK)
4.I put the SD card in my phone and to turn it on, pushed the two volume buttons, and I kept them pushed while pressing the Power button.
5.then (

And until now I haven't any random reboots.
Hope it will help you

Ringtone audio Buffering problem

When the phone rings i hear an annoying glitch or blip ( SCRATCH) which occurs only at the start of ringing tone.
My Questions:
Do u have the same problem ?
How we solved this ?
Thanks in advance
I had the same problem. Didn't solve it though. I think the MIDI engine takes a long time to load, which causes the glitches to occur. Try to get an mp3 ringtone, for me it works, no more glitches. Must be that decoding mp3 is faster than decoding MIDI files.
Don't know if it will work with you, lets hope

I have the same problem with your ringtone, but the MIDI was even worse Note that I had that problem too just previewing the file... The second preview was ok, must be some kind of cache miss or so?

[Q] Browser screen sensitivty issue and Bluetooth pairing/connecting issue

I originally posted this in the SynergyROM section as that is current rom I am running, however I have experienced these same 2 problems on a couple other roms too so I do not believe they are rom-specific issues.
1. I cannot get my Pioneer (model DEH-6400BT) car stereo to pair or connect with my S3. When I try it says would you like to pair and I say ok and it says confirm the 6 digit pin on your device matches the pin on the stereo but it does not show any pin on either and then says Unable to Pair. I also tried wiping data and installing CleanRom and also MeanLeanJellyBean on my phone to see if it would pair on that rom, but it again failed. I had ZERO problems pairing/connecting with my HTC Thunderbolt so I don't know what the hell the deal is?? Should also mention that my SIII pairs and connects to my bluetooth headset just fine....
2. I use the browser A LOT for work and always have a long list of checkboxes to check off (see attached pic to see what I mean, volume slider on there cause i accidentally bumped it when doing screenshot so ignore that). I have found a few browsers that better display what boxes are checked, but when I go thru to check/uncheck boxes I find the screen sensitivity is TERRIBLE. Almost every single time it takes 3-6 attempts to check or uncheck a box. I have tried every major browser in the Play Store. Again, I had ZERO problems with this on my HTC Thunderbolt, always worked the first time, if it didn't check or uncheck it's because I just plain missed the box with my finger. How do I solve this? I use this everyday for work and don't have time to be spending that many attempts just to check a damn box, it's absolutely ridiculous. It blows my mind I am having this problem with such a high-end device as the SIII.
Thank you and Merry Christmas.

1) Did you try the other way around and sync the phone to radio instead of the radio to the phone? or vice versa. My friends Pioneer deck did the same thing and switching which one was in discovery mode worked.
2) Dolphin browser is dumb, try zooming in a little then go down the line and check the boxes. Maybe try Chrome or my favorite, Boat Browser.?

How to fix your android tablet. If your tablet is not working
How to do a factory reset on an Android tablet when your start up screen is hanging. Some methods show how to reset from the operating system but in this instance you cannot get to the software it just shows the android screen. We will then have to get to the boot screen, not all tablets will give you a menu screen in boot mode, so once it is here simply allow it to reboot itself and your android tablet should now start up with factory default settings, simply reinstall your apps, and I am assuming you have stored your data on a cloud or an SD card.
This problem is rather frustrating as there is no complete clear set way of solving this problem, as there are different android versions and so many different manufacturers of the devices it is very difficult to actually pinpoint and accurately describe the function appropriate for your device to get it out of the boot loop. This app will give you a way which works without the use of any tools just a series of key presses to reset your android device.
This works 80 percent of the time
If the advice in this app does not correctly reset your device you may have to try a slightly different sequence if your android version is different. For example Try powering off? and booting, count 2 seconds then press the volume button vigorously then as shown. If no luck increase to 4 seconds then 6.....etc up to 10 seconds count. You may also have the option to go through a menu. Use your volume keys to see if you can scroll through an option menu which will then enable you to restart your device that way. If you have no luck then please follow our firmware upgrade procedure in our Android Repair Manual at
http://androidtabletnotworking.com/
It includes step by step procedures with picture illustrations, also firmware download links to many android tablets which are often stuck in boot mode.
Want to Open your tablet?
Yes you have an android tablet but now there is something wrong with it, you feel in your heart that if you can
just open it you can solve the problem but it is not straight forward how to open it.
We will show you how to open your tablet without damaging it cosmetically or electronically.
Android tablet spares and repairing
How to open a tablet
Mini jack headphone socket not functioning. You cannot use headphones on your device
Power jack socket not functioning. You cannot charge your device correctly
Tablet stuck in boot mode
Speaker damage. Internal speaker has blown and is playing music and sounds with distortion
These all can be resolved and some are easily done whereby others need technical assistance.

ISUDAR deck - any experience or root?

I think I bought a clunker of a deck, MTCE / GS in nature.
However, it's complete lack of buttons, SD slots, etc has made rooting to improve it, difficult.
Has anyone had experience with ISUDAR decks? Are there any procedures that can help me get root / xposed onto the stock firmware, so I can fix the UI to add volume control etc?

Finally I've found another ISUDAR owner to compare notes with! I have the exact same model you show except the slightly older 7.1.2 PX3 version with 2Gb. I've had decent success with it except Bluetooth problems using OBD and somewhat flaky success with a 10Hz Bluetooth GPS unit, but always works great with my S7 phone. Other than that works pretty well. I also have plans to sort out a physical knob solution, possibly with Arduino.
Support hasn't been great, but probably typical. The seller finally sent me updated ROM .rar and .zip files yesterday, but gave instructions how to flash using a SD card in the GPS slot.... Obviously there isn't one, so I'm waiting to hear back how they want me to do it.
I found a button inside the small hole on the lower right side of the face plate. Stick a paper clip in there. Short press is mute, medium press will turn the unit off, long press I think will actually reboot. There may be a further press sequence to enter recovery? (To avoid the paperclip route, I made my own button from the head of a small nail leaving only a few mm of the stem. Take the face plate off and insert the nail from the back, this way it's captured once you put the plate back on, the head presses on the soft button inside and the nub sticks out the hole. Seems appropriate quality solution  )
What car are you putting this in, I assume 2005-2008 Porsche?

On-Board computer display

Hello, is there an app or a modification on the hardware to cap the connection to the original build in on board computer display? Most time it only show "other".
I would prefer to see the time and the day like when the radio is disconnected
Nobody knows what your unit is.
Post details from Android system information including MCU version.

You have an opel. The picture is showing the onboard trip computer.
You want those values on the headunit?
Or you want the fm radio to appear to that screen?
If it is the latter then if you have attached the odb box that came with your unit you should be able to see fm info on the screen.
You will see other when on Bluetooth call or when you play from youtube or anothe application.
I have not understand clearly wwhat you want to do.
If it is the 1st you want to do then you need a Bluetooth or usb odb adapter and an application called torque. You wont get the trip computer values into the head unit but you will be able to configure torque to measure the same values more or less.
I see the FM radio when I listen to the radio, and I see "other" when I use streaming apps.
But it would be nice if we could exchange the "other" with something more usefull, like the title of the song, or, because I know its very comlicated to realize that, instead of displaying "other", showing the date would also be nicer.
With the original radio, when its turned off, the onboard computer show the date also.
My idea was to somehow block the information send to the onboard computer and automatically the onboard computer should display the date, as if the radio would be turned off.
Maybe its a stupid request but this "other" always on that screen bothers me...
You must ask for this to the dev of every app that display other.
The app should send the data for that to the canbus.
Every app, except for the build-in (radio, media player, bluetooth) show other.
Please read my above post again.
The dev of that every application has to fix his application to transmit the name of what is playing.
At least that is what I know.
