Media Still scanning - Samsung Galaxy R i9103

My phone got crazy yesterday:
i don't know exactly when it started but when i start my phone up it says Media Scanning.
Then it says media scanned and then it goes like showing on the screenshot attached for hours, even after restarting.
I am not rooted and on gingerbread 2.3.5
Thanks for any help!

I decided to restore the phone but when i want to do that it wants a samsung account password which i forgot.
I tried also hard reset with dialing *2767*3855#. phone tried to shut down but didnt do it can i restore another way?
I also saw a video on youtube for gs2 with said that i have to press vol up home and power when the phone is ON until it reboots to android system recovery. then do factory reset there.
But will it work on our phone without root ?
Please help my phone starts annoying me

Yes buddy. You can reboot your phone to Stock recovery (as you said you are not rooted and i hope u have not installed CWM). Switch off ur phone and switch on. When samsung logo appears, just press menu key+Volume up button. It will boot into recovery mode. From there you can wipe data/Factory reset your phone.

thanks for this tipp helped me out but do you know why the media kept scanning

At my girlfriend it was a sign before her her microsd goes defective......

[Completed] My Huawei G610 is in an endless reboot loop and I have tried everything

I have a Huawei G610 with andrioid Jellybean as an OS. I have done no roots or mods and from the past 4 days it works for 30sec then it restarts again.
I enabled safe mode and it still restarted so I am not sure if its a virus. I did the vol up+power button thing and entered the recovery options and wiped the cache partition and nothing happened. I tried uninstalling apps and once it restarted the app was back again. I wanted to remove my lock so I removed my pattern and when it restarted it was back. Finally I took out my SD card and went to recovery mode and did a factory data reset. IT DIDNT WORK!Everything was back to normal, my apps which werent moved to my SD were still there and my pattern was still there. I tried it again and it still didnt work.
Please help guys, I live in a region where actual customer services is absolute crap.
I asked this on Reddit and someone recommended me this website so please help!

My Galaxy S6 is bricked help

Okay so I've done about everything heard of to fix this but absolutely no luck it won't even turn off unless I hold the power button and the down volume key which is the simulated battery disconnect. It randomly bricked I haven't rooted this phone and it's not flashed, no tampering
The model is GALAXY S6 (SM-G920V)
I've tried factory reset but it attempts to boot when I select the option in the maintenance boot mode
nothing in the maintenance boot mood does anything it always ends up trying to boot and for some reason I can't access the android recovery menu. I even tried to reinstall the stock ROM no luck it failed I've done everything so I'm here asking if I missed something or if someone can tell me what's wrong with my phone

Please help me stop factory reset on android?

I really need help! Friend was messing with my phone and selected to factory reset it. I quickly grabbed it away but it already began to reboot, however I did not let it reboot. I forced it off.
Any chance I can still stop the factory reset process? I have TWRP installed but seem to be getting the factory reset splash screen when I hold volume down+power.
Has the damage been done, or not yet? Please tell me there's a way to bypass the reset. I do not have a removable battery.
Get to recovery mode and backup your phone and reboot. That's the last option I guess

If you turned off, you already stopped it. It will not try to continue when you reboot the device. But, there is no way to know if anything was wiped or not, until you reboot the device and find out. If it wiped anything, it's gone, unless you can use any of the various data recovery programs on PC to recover the lost data, if it is possible to retrieve it.

I heard that the factory reset is "locked" into your phone as soon as it turns off, but it doesn't begin the process of wiping until after the first boot. I think I have partially confirmed this because when I try to boot, I get the android updating splash screen, which I guess means it is about to wipe. I force it off as soon as I see that screen, but before the phone has time to officially begin any process, so I am unable to boot into android or recovery.
Is there a way to mount my internal partition to my PC without turning the phone on, like through fastboot?

The reset was already started, you originally interrupted it before it could "finish" the "wipe" then, when you rebooted, it is starting the "reload" process(android is upgrading) where it loads the system and whatever personal data is still there, if any personal data remains from the interrupted wipe.
As I said, all you can do now is let it finish booting, then use data recovery software to hopefully retrieve your lost data, or take it as a learning lesson if the data is irretreivable.

Recover data of frozen Samsung Galaxy A51 SM-A515F

Hello,
my friends Samsung Galaxy A51 crashed while using it, opening a google docs link she received via WhatsApp.
Restarting the phone will only show Samsung logo, then Samsung Galaxy A51 logo and then dead again. No boot loop.
In the morning the wake up alarm set in the phone plays its chimes but display remains black.
Rebooting phone with holding volume down doesn't work.
The phone is not rooted or flashed.
I can enter Recovery mode. Tried to restart system. Tried to delete cache. Tried to repair apps. None of this changed anything.
I can connect via adb but only in Sideload mode. Hoped to unsintall Samsung Browser as this might be a damaged app. But I don't have permission because USB debugging is not toggled. I tried adb restart and adb restart recovery. Phone will no restart to Android. Restarting to recovery works but doesn't solve the problem.
I can bring the phone to Download mode. Btw. none of the tutorials helped to do this. At some point I double-tapped the power button and was surprised to get into Download mode. I wanted to flash TWRP recovery to the phone to get more options to backup and recovery. Unfortunatley the OEM protection did not allow me to flash TWRP recovery.
My friend is from Ukraine and has her Ukrainian banking app registered with this phone and currently no other possibility to access her bank account. Also she has a lot of data like contacts, messages, photos and videos only on this phone. So we can not do a factory reset.
Do you have any other ideas for troubleshooting?
Do you have any ideas how to remove OEM protection without access to OS so I can at least flash TWRP and do a backup?
Do you have any other idea how I could backup the phone?
Unfortunately I still have not been successful to get the phone working again or to backup or read any data.
Just to add another information: I drained the battery to 0% so the phone was totally dead. I was not optimistic that this full power off might help any more than the restarts I did so far. But running out of ideas. It didn't help or change anything.
I'm afraid only a factory reset could at least repair the phone :-(

Without OEM-Unlocking and USB-Debugging you will not be able to install TWRP and if so then all data would be gone automatically anyway, as this is equivalent to a factory reset.
The only way would be to download the STOCK-ROM with "Frija" (quick and free) and flash it with "Odin". Of course, the mobile phone is then virgin and has to be set up again from the beginning. A Google login restores a lot of data. Setting up the banking app again (username & password, etc.) shouldn't be a problem either.
Of course you can also try a factory reset first, but setting up a completely new one is not avoided here either.
Much luck!
