AM at wits end trying to upgrade from V10l, have pretty much tried all firmware upto v21e but aways wind up with no APN and 'reorganising internal process...' and cant add them back in....
Have seen the future with custom ROMs and want a better Android experience?
Any help is greatly appreciated..

Tried LG tools, followed all run thrughs on here but they never even start to update for me....SMartFlash Tool seems to update phone but then back to no APNs

can I return it to Tmobile and get a new one? Or do I have to try and unbrick it myself... The bad thing was that I was already In stock for everything and it still bricked it !!!
If you used the LG update tool you have to send it to LG for replacement. Not sure with the ota who takes responsibility.

so even if it says the S/W screen they will still replace it?? thank you very much guys. I dont have XP so I cant try to unbrick it
I'm wondering the same thing and if it has CWM Recovery?
Missing software update option in my o3d. I dont know how,but its not there where it should be,or anywhere else. I have v10d. Stock rom offcourse. How is it possible that the option to update is not there? Any suggestions or help? Thanks in advance.

Is there an apk that can be downloaded for example OTA.apk? I don't know why but there is no Ota update function in my phone. I used to have it in my previous phone. Anyone? Please....

I guess that you are on froyo,because my phone did not have ota update option in setings when i was on froyo,but now on GB it's ok.
Only solution for you is either to wait for official update via lg pc suite or to flash kdz v21a gingerbread,than you can root and flash custom roms.

You can actually leave your phone exactly the way it is right now. No need to un-root.

This is a very easy update process, but follow the steps perfectly.

Help,i cant get access on my lg optimus 3d software update. When i bought this phone,it has 2.2 froyo where i can still recieve updates and when i upgraded into gingerbread 2.3.5 i am recieving a message "your device is not registered yet" then i decided to flash king 3d rom hoping that i would be able to get access again on ota updates. But then still no luck.now im getting a message "com.android.phone has stopped"
-pls help,is there any way i could get updates again?

You will never get an update if you are not on stock rom.

I have the same problem. I flash roms via KDZ flasher...
I did upgrade my O3D to GB using LG Mobile Support Tools.
Download the GB package ~ 400 MB. Upgrade completed after 20 minutes.
Hello everyone!
I need to get original GB rom to get on my p500, but my usb mass storage/debugging mode is dead, so my phone is not recognized by any computer using different cables. I have also used hardware reset and i am running out of options.
I know that KDZ updater is used for original software but is there another way to do it other than usb?
Is there any other solution?

Can you enter recovery? If so i can get you a zip of, V20G or V20I they are stock ,but its already deodex ,apps2sd ,rooted, busybox and runparts dixda kitchen tweaks only but if you want one of those p.m. me i send you link.

I don't know how it is in your country but in Romania by rooting a rom you already break standard warrenty.

That is the same in my country, but it is still better to have at least stock UI/rom.
Oh and i forgot i have old baseband radio. Do i need stock froyo now?
U can switch to stock froyo to convince LG to fix ur phone if it is Broken.

Mine got with ICS, but the mainboard was broken... they fixed it free

In case of broken mainboards, from what i know, they can't tell if the phone had custom rom or that it was even rooted because your system partition is on that mainboard and it's not cost effective to try and salvage the system partition to prove you broke the warenty.
Stock froyo or gingerbread would not raise any suspicions at the service but then again, they can be installed only via kdz witch needs usb, the thing that is broken in your phone. From my knoledge.
Maybe after you flash the rooted froyo or gb you can unroot? Haven't tried that on flashable gb or froyo. If that would work i think you would be safe and the warenty would remain intact

i have tried to search in the forums and google and could not find a original version of froyo for ROGERS P925G (VERY IMPORTANT)
why? because i have tried flashing v21e and the phone is not usable, tried ICS from xsball its reallly cool but phone or internet doesnt work... so i found a original GB 2.3.5 with v20e in it (WITH GHOST CALLS !!!)
now i want to put back the original froyo but there is nothing that i could find.
i need a bin file for use with LG FLASH TOOL , it is the only way to flash something on this stupid rogers phone!!
anyone have any clues?

i read alot that V21E have corrected the ghost call issue, i tried to flash it and then bricked my phone!
is there a v21e specific to rogers??? , i mean that will work for sure with a P925G rogers edition
like i said i tried flashing a V21E but bricked the phone in a bootloop, perhaps i didnt do the right thing hmmmm
and will 4G work? hmmm many questions!

I'm using normal v21e on my P925g just fine. Worked with every Canadian carrier.

I think you may got a bad flash.
I am using 21e on my rogers P925G, working very well.
i use lgfkashtools
its the only method that worked for me at this moment and someone gave me a kdz to bin converter so im gonna try again someday
now my problem is that im trying to root using megatron but it doesnt work.... hmmm cause im ****in tired of losing all my games data!!!
