can I return it to Tmobile and get a new one? Or do I have to try and unbrick it myself... The bad thing was that I was already In stock for everything and it still bricked it !!!
If you used the LG update tool you have to send it to LG for replacement. Not sure with the ota who takes responsibility.

Is there an apk that can be downloaded for example OTA.apk? I don't know why but there is no Ota update function in my phone. I used to have it in my previous phone. Anyone? Please....
Sent from my LG-P920
I guess that you are on froyo, because my phone did not have ota update option in setings when i was on froyo, but now on GB it's ok.
Only solution for you is either to wait for official update via lg pc suite or to flash kdz v21a gingerbread, than you can root and flash custom roms.
i hope that this was helpful to you.
Yes,i have froyo 2.2.2 Thanks for the info. I'll take a look if there is an update via PC suite. Another question. My phone is rooted. Should i unroot my phone before updating to gingerbread? Oh,and thanks for the info.
Sent from my LG-P920
You can actually leave your phone exactly the way it is right now. No need to un-root.
Follow the instructions here to flash the 21A ROM (Gingerbread): http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...php?p=18082599
This is a very easy update process, but follow the steps perfectly.
Re-root with SuperOneClick when the update is done: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803682
You will also be presented with your new OTA Update App as well!
Thank you very much man. I'll try this later, when i'll have some time.

I accidently formatted my Optimus EX(SU-880) using nvflash(nvflash --format_all).
After that, I can't boot it. I can't boot it as S/W upgrade mode as well.
I think the whole system is deleted, but APX mode is still working.
Is there any chance to restore the system?
p.s I went to service center few days ago, and they said me that they can't fix it.

Hi,
I accidentally formatted my mobile (blu Quattro 4.5) using nvflash (nvflash - format_all) ... I have a friend with the same phone, you could tell me a tutorial or step by step on how I can recover my phone?
Hello everyone!
I need to get original GB rom to get on my p500, but my usb mass storage/debugging mode is dead, so my phone is not recognized by any computer using different cables. I have also used hardware reset and i am running out of options.
I know that KDZ updater is used for original software but is there another way to do it other than usb?
Is there any other solution?
Thanks in advance!
Can you enter recovery? If so i can get you a zip of, V20G or V20I they are stock ,but its already deodex ,apps2sd ,rooted, busybox and runparts dixda kitchen tweaks only but if you want one of those p.m. me i send you link.

Yes i can enter recovery. That would be a lot easier to get warranty. Thanks a lot i will send you a pm.
If anyone else could share a zip of stock V20x that is not rooted would be very much appriciated.

I don't know how it is in your country but in Romania by rooting a rom you already break standard warrenty.

That is the same in my country, but it is still better to have at least stock UI/rom.
Oh and i forgot i have old baseband radio. Do i need stock froyo now?
U can switch to stock froyo to convince LG to fix ur phone if it is Broken.

Mine got with ICS, but the mainboard was broken... they fixed it free
Sent from my LG-P500
In case of broken mainboards, from what i know, they can't tell if the phone had custom rom or that it was even rooted because your system partition is on that mainboard and it's not cost effective to try and salvage the system partition to prove you broke the warenty.
Stock froyo or gingerbread would not raise any suspicions at the service but then again, they can be installed only via kdz witch needs usb, the thing that is broken in your phone. From my knoledge.
Maybe after you flash the rooted froyo or gb you can unroot? Haven't tried that on flashable gb or froyo. If that would work i think you would be safe and the warenty would remain intact

i already send you link you can unroot rom after install it.
I have decided to try to flash stock froyo + stock recovery. Hopefully it will leave no trace of my custom rom and rooting activities
Searching this forum and google I have only found one flashable zip of stock froyo V10e, since almost all links are dead or threads are closed, but for my country it says V10d. Can anyone that still posesses these files, reuploads them somewhere? Since our phone is getting older, people with a problem like mine might still need them. Or this isn't really important?

I installed ROM manager,
I flashed CWM to flash CM 7.2
When it rebooted, this happpens.
now connected to USB and processing commands
Rom manager is the biggest culprit. if it is complete blank then it means your phone is hard bricked the boot manager needs repairing. For that I can give you an advice
First of all go to jtag box website
Search for dealer of jtag box in your region on that site
Take his contact detail and he will repair your boot manager. On the jtag box it is just 2 hours work.
But one thing is that boot repairing affects battery performance.
But that's not a big deal as compare to phone resurrection
NOW CHEER UP

Getting unbricked
I went down the same path with Rom manager. I lost usb connections to PC etc. I was able to recover by getting phone into Download mode, then using Kies let it install usb drivers. Once there I used one of the odin One Click stock roms to get back to Ginderbread. Here's a good link to stock roms:
