Folks, I just installed Skype on Locerra's CM9 latest build dated 08/15/2012 and noticed that with either the front or the rear camera my video appears truncated and seems to use only half the screen off the P6800. Did not get anything on the development thread for the issue, is this a known bug or am I doing something wrong?

Uninstalled current Skype version, installed older version 2.1.0.46, then upgraded and it works fine now.

After upgrading to version 1.11, the camera doesn't work as well as before. Sometimes it won't run, sometimes the camera application closes leaving some of the camera bacground. Anyone having the same problem?
May be this is software related...

Hello all, I've been following these forums here for a while but decided to register today because I've encountered a problem with my new ROM on my NS.
Naimely I installed this rom to test JB and everything is working really fine, until i noticed that my accelerometer doesn't . Didn't see it mentioned anywhere nor anyone with similar problem.
I understand that its a nightly build and far from perfect, but I just want to know if there is any way to fix this because i really like this rom its one of the fastest/smoothest i ever had, so if I could fix this acc issue it would be great.
So basically acc doesn't respond at all in any app, I went and toggled auto-rotate in settings but nothing happens, i downloaded an app that's supposed to monitor accelerometer motion and stuff but it register 0 anything. Another maybe important note is that I'm running AIR kernel 3.0.40 on it and that it is NS not 4G.
On the latest stable version (22) of Katkis 4.4.2 and am unable to use video during skype. Is this a known issue, is there a fix already (did a search but nothing turned up)?

I use KatKiss on my Transformer and Skype video calls seem to work just fine. Just tested it now just to be sure that I was using it both before and after my update to KK. You sure this began when you updated, and Skype video worked just fine before your update? Are your cameras otherwise working?
Yes both cameras are working fine outside of skype. I have just upgraded from Katkis 4.3, but not sure if it was working on that version. It was certainly working on the Asus stock prior to moving.
I have a european stock HTC One SV (no root), which received the OTA update to Android 4.2.2 and Sense 5 when it was released (that was last November or so). Since then, the option to use the front camera disappeared from the Camera app. I can't recall clearly but I'd say that the camera app showed a button with some kind of "rotation" icon, and also I was able to use it with Skype. Now there is no such option.
I've cleaned up the app data... is there anything else I could do? Is it a common problem after the update? (although I didn't find anything by searching the forum...)
@juannm Now you have to swype from left to right or right to left to swap cameras. See if that works for you. However the lack of camera in Skype is odd.. I have the newest Skype version and everything is working fine for me except the group video (even I have premium I can't use it...).

I was using the CM10 Codename Lungo rom until now and I just flashed the new CM11 rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=47409643&postcount=2) hoping to fix a problem with whatsapp I had for several weeks now. Every time I watch a video or sometimes even a photo, whatsapp crashes after viewing when its supposed to go back to the conversation. It's really annoying and I think it started when fb took over whatsapp...
CM11 works like a charm from what I can say already but the bug is still there.
A friend of mine is using CM11 on his device aswell, I guess it's a DesireHD or something and he has the same issue.
Did anyone encounter the same problem or possibly has a fix for this?
